I suppose , but he's going there for the money. He could at least have spent 6 months in a decent team before going. Anyway , it was more of a dig at @onetwothree. :Pyugin96 said:

What is it with players getting injuries before this world cup. It's unbelievable the amount of players who are injured. -
Ferrari have been rumored for a while , haven't they ? I'd say it'll be them. Exciting times ahead. :DAndrewMather said:Yep you're right Silverstone was a much closer affair. I think on the straights is where the Toyota really gets to use its outright speed from all that power which I believe has now been quoted at MORE than 1000bhp instead of 987bhp at Spa. In terms of aerodynamic grip I reckon Toyota and Audi are both pretty strong and evenly matched, which is to be expected as both cars' bodywork are heavily derived off already 2 year old developed packages. Porsche perhaps lack a bit but they'll catch up towards the end of this WEC season like Toyota did in their first year.By the way guys, I'm hearing and reading the Radio Le Mans website that there will potentially be a big announcement which may also be quite a surprise during race week, maybe even on race day itself. There's lots of talk about another LMP1 entrant on top of Nissan joining next year. At the moment the names being flashed around are BMW, Ford, Ferrari and probably the most surprising of all McLaren in conjunction with Honda. As I say just rumours at the moment over what the announcement could be which in itself is a rumour, but the next fortnight could be very interesting for the future of the race. -
I'm not sure it would make much of a difference if I'm honest. England already have the individual players imo , but it just never seems to come together for them.AMS97KRR said:Haha yeah.I know this doesn't include the Republic of Ireland, but it'd be cool if all the home nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) made one team. Players like Best, Giggs, Law, Bale and now Ramsey are wasted and never appear at big tournaments despite being top players. It'd be mainly England, but Bale and Ramsey would certainly be in there. The last 2 goals were brilliant btw. -
Shame our players aren't. :PAMS97KRR said:
Not really a good game to be honest is it, no one is trying to hard, everyone is trying to avoid injury :pSILVERARR0WS said:
I know , I'm just saying they didn't really deserve it. I'm from Ireland.AMS97KRR said:It is an experimental team in a friendly, so it doesn't really matter. @SILVERARR0WS what country are you from?Nice, Irish football fans are great at the major tournaments :) -

lol. The first time Ecuador have the ball in the England half and they score. -
Some of those Ecuadorian players don't really look like athletes .... -
AndrewMather said:Fair enough. One weird thing though, I 'posted' that comment like a few days ago.As for Audi I'd say they've been the opposite. At Spa they were utterly nowhere on sheer pace for a good part of the race and both Toyota and Porsche were killing them on the straights. Especially the #3 Audi which was running less aero as a test before Le Mans, it was really slow on the straights and not great in sectors 2 and 3 round Spa. The number #1 got a podium at Spa through a bit of bad luck for Toyota and Porsche being unreliable.Meanwhile at Silverstone the crashes for Audi in my opinion were partially caused by the drivers having to push due to bad strategy calls from the race engineers. Audi have been massively on the back foot all season, mainly because they've gone too conservative with their hybrid system but at least they're back in with a chance round Le Mans on pure pace.Ah , sorry , I didn't watch Spa . At Silverstone it seemed as though they had pretty good pace though . Close to Toyota and ahead of Porsche anyway. -
The mystery behind Cristiano Ronaldo's tendinosis has been solved.
A Ghanaian witchdoctor has taken responsibility for inflicting the injury, saying it 'can never be cured by any medic'.
“I know what Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is about, I’m working on him,” Nana Kwaku Bonsam told Ghanaian radio station Angel FM.
“I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called ‘Kahwiri Kapam’.
“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World up or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.
“This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day it is something else.”

Yeah but you feel so stupid afterwards because you realise it's just meaningless. I don't get angry with any other games other than FIFA though.AMS97KRR said:Games are somewhat psychological because like you said, whenever you get annoyed you are so busy finding things to moan about, you don't play well, which makes you angrier. CoD has the same effect as FIFA in that sense.I also find sometimes, when I have 3 or 4 awesome matches on CoD, I relax to much and don't do so well.I get angry pretty quickly with FIFA, although sometimes it is justified, like when I'd had enough yesterday after a free-kick was given that was never a free kick. He scored from it and I just turned my PS4 off. People get angry with real life games when things like that happen, so that is pretty justifiable IMO.I just played another tournament and because of how the group stages work online, you might play, for example, Player 2, Player 3 and Player 4, but then Player 2 might play Player 5, 6 and 1 (1 being me). So earlier, having won 2/3 games in the groups, I went out, when in reality, that is unlikely, especially given my goal difference was about 3. The guy who got all 9 points would have beaten the other two.Just tried again. Guess what ? Quarter finals again. I'm gonna give it one more go and if I don't get it then I'm giving up. -
That was the point I was making....AndrewMather said:
To be fair, the man's got to sleep at some stage ;). Plus the rest of the team that do the coverage are still really good.SILVERARR0WS said:
Yeah I know Radio Le Mans are doing the whole race , what I was saying is that John Hindhaugh won't be commentating for the whole race on it. I remember last year Motors didn't do the whole thing so I'd say it's the same this time around.AndrewMather said:
Radio Le Mans are doing the whole race for free online. TV pictures on Motors I'm not sure about it but I'm 90% sure the full race won't be on there. It will be on Eurosport and last year I think they did a track sound only channel on their online subscription player along with their own commentary. There is also the FIA WEC app which you can get just for Le Mans. There are a couple of outlets such as Audi TV that I hear are doing free streams onboard their cars.SILVERARR0WS said:
It should be on Motors TV. Some of it anyway. Dunno if John Hindhaugh is commentating though. I'd hazard aguess and say he'll be doing some of it and some of it on Radio Le Mans . No need to be so biased though.:PfIsince08 said:I'll only watch it if a) it's on Motors TV and b) John Hindhaugh is commentating. And I don't really have any preferences when it comes to commentators. @flsince08 is just being biased because Hindhaugh is from Sunderland.:P :P -
Yeah , usually I stop when I get annoyed with the game. I'm not thinking straight and I'm too busy being annoyed that I'm not even playing well or paying attention.AMS97KRR said:I just had the best run in FUT WC yet.I figured that every time I lost in the knock outs that the person who beat me was always leaving his defenders back and hitting me on the counter, in other words, parking the bus. So I decided next time, I'd do the same thing. (Through my rage I didn't think about what tactics they were using, I was just mad bro).Well I won my group, scoring about 11 goals in total over the 3 games. Got to the knock outs, won again convincingly. In the Quarter-finals I won again. I was almost surprised I hadn't gotten knocked out, but Remy and Mandzukic were just to good. Then I won my Semi-Final and got the final. In the final I came up against an 86 rated, 100 chem team (Mine is 82 rated, 100 chem) and he had +10 attribute cards on every player (A couple of them only had +6). He went 2-0 up, then after half time I pulled it back to 2-2, it went to extra time and with 5 minutes to go, he scored a header with Robben of all people. Couldn't believe it. I did save 2 penalties in that game to keep myself in it. Was a very even game, both had about 11 shots on target, 49/51% possession.I've now learnt that as long as you have pace, parking the bus on the FUT WC is the best way to win. I'm pretty sure that EA have no idea how to match make though, I should not have had to play him, an 81-83 rated team would have made for a better match up. He did get lucky though, it should have gone to penalties, which I'm confident I could have won.Whether it was a one off or not, I'll have to see. Funnily enough that was my 13th tournament, doomed from the start. -
Bollocks if you ask me too. I reckon he'll either head back to Arsenal or go to United like you said.yugin96 said:Where do you all think Fabregas will end up? The Independent says that Liverpool are leading the race for his signature- absolute bollocks if you ask me. He's a fantastic player no doubt, but 30 million for him is too much for a club like us.United seems plausible. -
What do you mean Audi are back in the game ? They've dominated the 24 hours for the past decade . Plus they were pretty unlucky so far this season.AndrewMather said:Little bit more in depth and opinions from test day. This video mainly covers Aston Martin, the new Ligier and how for me Audi are back in the game.http://youtu.be/An5haVYmkiw -
Not like Villa ? Or just don't like NYC FC taking him out of Europe ? Looking like Lampard could follow him there too.Platy said:6 months training with Man City then he gets to be a key player in a brand new franchise in an ever growing league in one of the biggest cities in the world... plus the money. I don't think he owed Atletico anything just because they won him medals, he won medals at Barca and he left them.Anyway, it gives me more reasons to dislike NYCFC. -
Shame Falcao is out but Martinez is a world class player and is underrated imo. -
Toyota are definitely my bet for the win. By far the best car they've made so far. I'm sort of annoyed Porsche placed Webber in the #20 Porsche instead of the #14.They should switch Webber and Lieb imo. -
Yeah , that was noticed when it was first released. Now I can't look at it without seeing the facepalm instead of the World Cup.fIsince08 said:A bit off topic, but that world cup logo does look a lot like a facepalm... -
Don't bother , I've got it going. Just sent you my predictions.Tommig1995 said:What version of Excel do you have? It runs fine in 2010 and 2013 for me. I'll see if I can find my pen-drive and test it on 2007/2003 -
Tried again , knocked out in the quarter finals AGAIN.SILVERARR0WS said:I've tried to win the World Cup about 10 or 11 times , either using Brasil or Spain. Knocked out in the quarter final EVERY SINGLE TIME. Really strange one. -
Fair enough. I expect him to win most , but certainly not all of them.RevolvingPrawn said:Tell you what, when we get to the end of the season and Marquez has won every race, I'll be expecting an apology for you calling me idiotic :p -
No , it's winner of group A vs runner up of group B , Runners up of group A vs winners of group B and so on. (A + B) (C+D) (E+F)fIsince08 said:Just a thought, but how is the draw for the knock out stages calculated? Surely it's by chance?
