I've tried to win the World Cup about 10 or 11 times , either using Brasil or Spain. Knocked out in the quarter final EVERY SINGLE TIME. Really strange one. -
There was some serious match fixing going on then though. You are right though. You can look at France in 2010 too. I think Columbia will spring a surprise this time. Quarter finals or possibly even semis.AMS97KRR said:@Tommig1995 how do I send my predictions? I can't see a way to do it?By the way, I like the format you are doing, but when you said that you'd be surprised if the top 8 fail to make it to knockouts, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one did. How many times in football has something looked like a forgone conclusion, only to throw up a massive surprise. That's why I have predicted mine how I have. There is always one or two teams that surprise us, last time it was Ghana and Uruguay, in 2002 it was South Korea.I mean I doubt mine will happen, but looking at past tournaments, it is not impossible. -
What am I doing wrong ? I've downloaded it but when I go to open it , it says application not found . ??? -
It was on BT Sport today anyway. -
I don't think so. Remember Silverstone last year ? He's not stupid enough to leave it that late again. Oh , and that kind of advantage can just disappear. A loss of confidence ( he crashed outhere last year remember ) or not being able to find a setup , plus the fact that Jorge seemed to be in better form.RevolvingPrawn said:
Marquez was toying with him. He knows his bike is better than the Yamaha, and by quite a margin. Maybe he was just giving us a show? Whatever he was doing, remember the last race where he just disappeared into the lead? That kind of advantage doesn't just disappear. I'd say he wasn't riding to 100% until the last lap, Jorge couldn't catch him then when he dropped the hammer.SILVERARR0WS said:What do you mean Marquez was always going to win ? How did it go down to the last lap if Marquez was always going to win. That's like saying Hamilton was always going to win in Monaco just because he won the last couple of races. Anyways , brilliant race and ride of the year from Jorge. -
Me too ! :D -

I can't remember if they retired from it or not though , so you may still be right , because it looked like pretty light damage.AndrewMather said:Fair play, I didn't watch 2010. I'll have been building a Formula Student car at the time. -
BTW guys , we should start a Lorenzo fan club. :P -

I think the Mexico away kit and Columbia home kit are the 2 nicest kits. I've never liked the England kit. Just too plain for my liking. Way too boring. -
That was McNish who crashed. It must have been a different year then , but I think it was during the Porsche curves.Motorsport4ever said:
Well I guess that crash resulted into retirement if you ask me, although it's just minor damage... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW3NDGk6YQESILVERARR0WS said:
Well I remember 2011 I think it was when he crashed trying to avoid a GT car. I don't think it was his fault but I can't remember if they retired or not from it.AndrewMather said:Have to agree Silver Arrows, especially as I can see TK retiring after this year. It's incredible to think he's 46 and still at least near the top of his game. But with McNish hanging up the helmet last year he's the last of the original set of Audi drivers from the early 2000's. I've just had a look at his finishing record at Le Mans and whenever his car has got to the end of the race its always been on the podium and I don't think he's been the cause of any retirements either. If this is his last he'll be dearly missed I'm sure.EDIT : It was 2010 , sorry.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph5gecjTSqY -
These rooms ? Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong ones ? :-/fIsince08 said:
Have you seen the England rooms?! I wouldn't be happy sleeping in them and I'm not a millionaire!SILVERARR0WS said:
Come on man ! FIFA will make sure that the streets are safe , and that accomodation is up to scratch etc. Plus , the stadiums are just finished , so nothing to worry about. South Africa doesn't exactly have the safest streets in the world , but there were no problems there.fIsince08 said:The world cup really should have been held over here. Certainly not in Brazil anyway - the accommodation is crap, the streets aren't safe and the stadiums aren't ready. Look at all the nice stadiums we have over here - Wembley, Olympic Stadium, Emirates, Etihad, St James', SOL, Old Trafford - even Craven Cottage and Anfield. Big mistake FIFA. -

Can't wait for any of the matches. Italy v England will be on at the same time as the 24 hours so it'll be hard to decide what to watch. I'll probably watch the match to get a break from the race though. :DSynGamer said:Cannot wait for June 14th, Italia vs. England. I'll be honest , I didn't notice any of that . Still can't beat the Brands time with the Lotus . Too much understeer at high speed corners for my liking.PeteTheDuck said:I think the Paddock Hill Bend run off area was tarmac and now it's gravel, same for Druids. Back in the 80s the Graham Hill bend was just one nice long left hander and now it's tighter and kind of has 2 parts. Also, Westfield Bend is now tighter on the apex than it was, similar to Graham Hill Bend. -
I start reading a book I like , and I won't put it down until I've finished it. Shame I don't read that often. I should probably start to read more.Herby007 said:I need a new game, something to sink my teeth into that'll keep me entertained. Thought about modding Skyrim till it was unrecognisable but it's not doing it for me :( and all the games in my steam list just don't scream "play me".I've got two huge franchises I've never played before. Assassins Creed and Mass Effect. Think I might take a plunge and get one of them.Or I could just buy a few books and read them instead...EDIt : But if I was going for one of those I'd go for AC. -
For once I do hope Audi can win , but only if it's the Kristensen car , because of what happened last year. Really hope he can get one more to dedicate to his dad. -
This Lotus is amazing ! The kart is fun as well but the F3 car is a bit boring for my liking. -
Have the same problem with the G27 . I just stuck to F1 2012 because F1 2013 is unplayable for me.FattyJuice said:Im sure 2012 had more degrees of rotation. I appear to have 95/100 each way only. Even with saturation 0% and linearity turned up some its still way too sensitive, this cant be right? After some research on youtube, the G27 seems to be marginally better before it hits the rotation 'lock' it looks to be about 110 degrees. On the G25 its literally 95 degrees each way then it hits a rotation lock. F1 2012 didnt have this and the G25 would turn roughly 125/130 degrees each way.Guess its a good excuse to upgrade my wheel, it is old now and id love a T500 -
Just noticed Mike Conway too. -
Lucas DiGrassi as well.
