Still haven’t started a My Team save as I was waiting for the performance update. If as expected it won’t be applied to that mode then that’s a terrible decision. Just have to look at the reaction on Twitter. Unbelievable.

All it said in that other thread was it’s coming soon. At the same time on Twitter they were still saying first half of October. This is the first time we’ve had actual confirmation that isn’t going to happen.

Amazing that it’s took all this for us to get some confirmation on the patch delay. Why this couldn’t have been communicated sooner I don’t know. But hey at least we’ve got Esports right lads.

Judging from the twitter page they care more about Esports than anything else. Unfortunately I’m sure the majority of the player base don’t care one bit about that and would rather have a functioning game they can play themselves.

As others have said, the fact we haven’t received a patch is frustrating. It’s the complete lack of communication as to why or when we might get it is the really disappointing thing. Not good enough is it?

This is verging on disgraceful from Codemasters. They’ve constantly reassured us the performance patch would be out in the first half of October. Now we’re only hours away from that time frame being over there’s nothing. And to make it worse they’ve completely stopped all communication.

Go and have a look at F1 Game’s latest tweet about 1.08, then look at the replies. Then come back to me about people feeling like they’re being ignored.

What’s the point of reporting bugs? I’ve done 3 since release and each one has been ignored and not a single fix imminent. Developers still getting away with releasing unfinished games.

Mate they can’t fix simple bugs that have been there since release. I wouldn’t hold out to much hope for a performance update anytime soon.

Nothing wrong with using the racing line. Not everybody has 100s of hours spare to learn the perfect braking point etc for every circuit. Let people play how they want.

Think you’ve probably just been a bit unlucky there. Racing point are the best team in my save, Halfway through season 2. Red Bull the 8th best team etc.

Not holding out much hope as this years game is riddled with issues that don’t seem to be getting fixed anytime soon, but I haven’t seen this one mentioned yet.

Do we have any update on future patches? F1 2020 has by far the most bugs I’ve ever come across in a video game. I can understand the frustration displayed by many.

Bought the game from the PS Store, contacted Playstation for a refund, unfortunately as I’d already downloaded the game and opened the application I wasn’t entitled to one. Also how on earth would I know it to be broken? I presume a game is sold in a playable state.

Stopped buying EA games a long time ago. Codemasters however I always want to give the benefit of the doubt, firstly because they make F1 games and I don’t see a long list of developers queuing to do it if they didn’t. Secondly because of their history, Micro Machines, TOCA, Colin McCrae etc, have been a massive part of my life. I just feel incredibly let down by them this year especially, sorry if people don’t feel the same. And for the people really enjoying their F1 2020 experience so far, I’m genuinely happy for them, wish I could say the same.

Nope, as I haven’t received a single pitcoin from pre ordering. Happy for the people that somehow haven’t experienced problems, wish I could say the same as I once again stare at a screen that has stopped responding.

£70 for a broken game, which will take months to fix and on top of that micro transactions galore. You’re incredibly naive to not see a problem with that.

Also been playing games since the early 90s. The difference now is developers know they can get away with releasing an unfinished game. It’s a pretty sad state of affairs the amount of people on here defending them. Imagine any other industry where you can knowingly sell something broken.

Bought the Schumacher edition. Also feel like I’ve paid £70 to be a tester. Day 16 and I’ve not had one day where I’ve played bug free. If EA released a game in this state there would be uproar, why are Codemasters getting a free ride?

I’ve got to say I’m incredibly disappointed in Codemasters this year, this is one of many game breaking bugs that not only hasn’t been fixed weeks after launch, there is also no time frame on when A fix might be coming. Communication has been horrendous.
