    Hi @GioProductions thanks a lot. My stickers arrive Thursday. Today I’ll improve all the personalisation I ask. A lot of options. They work very well and fast the sim stickers. Only 3/4 days to arrive here in Portugal. And the answers and support by email was fantastic.

    The MFD button is not the MFD for the game, but for my display. So i can toggle between the digital display designs i have (one with info during race, one with tyre temp and 1 with leaderboard info)

    @GioProductionswhere do you bought that stickers set for the buttons? I had the Fanatec kit buttons caps and stickers set but there are not for me 2 importants stickers: MFD and OVERTAKE.

    Are you on PS4 platform? With me it’s happen the same. I had report that but until today have no answer. Until now I had changed my camera view to tv pod only because of that error, because without led lights on a race we don’t have the real feeling of drs are open or not. 
     

    the strange is that o saw videos on YouTube with people play on Xbox or pc and seems to work well. But on PS4 platform no.

    Hi everyone,

    I have a doubts if anyone can help me I appreciate that.

    1 - I read and saw a lot of people talk and mapping a button for “REVERSE” on F1 game? It is really possible? I enter on option on the menu in game, I select the controls of my steering wheel and go to the properties of all kind of mapping exist, and didn’t found the reverse, only the “gear reverse” I map those but when it racing didn’t work. Am I doing something wrong?The only way I put reverse is when I stop, I downshift to N and next to N appear R. If I try to map a specifically button or shortcut, I didn’t found.  
     

    2 - like I wrote on the title, I have a PS4 Pro, and I know specifically buttons we can’t map, like the PS and SH button. Am I thinking correctly or in PS4 for example it will be possible on my steering wheel I map the SH button? Sorry the dumb question but I’m new on this kind of things. 
     

    If I didn’t explain me correctly please tell me

    Mate it is normal when you report something codemasters don't tell you anything? I wrote like we speak yesterday but until now nothing.

    1.       A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. 

    In the image you can see me on a quali in a Grand Prix. I am on DRS zone and activate and unfortunately the 4 green led light it’s not on and I don’t know why, and that it was one of my doubts. When I’m on Time Trial or on-line race ,instead of green led, its normal appear 2 purple led lights and its works, no problem in Time Trial. And even more, 1 purple led light when you are in a DRS zone and 2 purple led light when activate. This ir really importante for your interface Between men and machine. Unfortunately I have to change my position cam to like the foto to race on grande prix because I like the cockpit view but without any information about DRS it’s bad to drive and have sense of everything.

    The must confusion is why on Time Trial for example it works (like i said here in this mode or on-line mode is 2 purple led lights when activate and 1 purple led lights its mean you are on a DRS ZONE). But on the others modes, grand prix, championship, there will be appear green leds lights (i saw some people who share their own races on youtube and you can see this work) and didn't appear anything, and for the cockpit view camera is too anoying drive without that kind of information, that kind of interface.

    3.       What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 

    F1 2020 - patch 1.05

    4.       Game-mode? 

    Grand Prix, championship and career mode.

    5.       What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. 

    I try all modes, include the TT and on-line mode and here the purple leds works, i came back to GRAND PRIX, CHAMPIONSHIP and CAREER MODE and no led lights works not purple or green.

    6.       What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue 

    try number of times, i check all the settings if there was something desactivate or activate, i try diferent cameras views, i try different races modes like i wrote before.

    7.       What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) 

    ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 2020, CSL Elite Wheel Base + and CSL Elite Pedals LC


    8.       Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.   

    This is a video on a qualify session of a gran prix. I have to change my camera view to view the DRS, because inside cockpit i don't have an idea.

    The normal would be like i saw in most of the players: offline races like Grand Prix and careers: 2 green led light on drs zone and 4 green led light drs activate. On Time Trial and on-line races: 1 purple led light on drs zone and 2 purple led light when activate drs.

    CM have said "by design" but that's bs. Given that only modes 0 and 2 are available in a session and I am currently in mode 2, when I press the decrease ERS shortcut button, then the ERS mode should be changed to 0.

    TOTALLY agree. Exactly what you wrote.

    But the problem i have with this in Quali, is just the way that Codemasters decided to use again other buttons for changing that. And i use the Shortcuts ERS option in  the game, but that works with Practise, but not with Quali.

    So i would need to use other buttons again just to do that, but we are limited on buttons on some wheel 😞

    And i am happy i am not the only one with this, as you can see here. But doubt Codemasters will do anything..

     

     

    Exactly what you say. I didn't try in practice but in quali i can't use the shortcuts ERS too like i said yesterday.

    Can´t use left joystick on PS4. Some people said in pc game they are using with no problem. Left joystick will be usefull to look around (mainly look back). I had try to map but no signal in game. On pc everything good with botom signal.

    First i connect all my devices to pc to brand software and see if all works, and until here everything is ok.


    7.       What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) 

    CSL ELITE WHEEL BASE +, CLUBSPORT STEERING WHEEL F1 2020 and CSL ELITE PEDALS LC

    I think if you use from the begining to the end you might end your batery before cross the line, but not sure. But this is not the main doubt and question. For all the answer and advices i think what Akkan74 said it will resolve.

    ERS can't be changed normally. For race you push the overtake button. If you want to adjust ERS in Quali you have to bind two buttons or a **** to ERS + and - in options. For Quali its normally in Hotlap. That is the pre defined mapping, but you can switch it to none for in and outlap or if you want to reload and start a hotlap again.

    First of all, thanks to all to help and advice me.

    GioProductions i agree with you.

    Costa what you said me, so i posible can use a mdf shorcut to mappeable ERS change in qualifying mode.

    Ultra3142 in some point you have reason, but some tracks are very long and if from the beggin you push hard always in hotlap on qualifying you at the end of the lap don't have ERS to use, i that's what i try to talk about, because in some points of track you can easy a little bit ERS to you can use until the end.

    KittyFfit90 i undersatnd what you say but it's an advantaje who use cockpit view, because who use anor camera view always have a confirm that DRS ar open or not.

    But like i said before, the odd is when you are on Time Trial led light DRS are ok but when you are on a grand prix not. And that's is my main doubt if possiblity i'm doing something wrong.

    For the question 1, think it would make confusion. What i try to explain with leds of drs it's not on the wheel/steering wheel, it's in game.

    For the question 2, yeah i learn about the new simplified ERS system, but why i can activate/desactivate in race between MEDIUM(1) and OVERTAKE(3) and in qualification i can NOT change between HOTLAP (2) and NONE(0). my question an doubt is really that, why in qualification i can't. Maybe it's another mapping butom that i have to use, diferent of race?
