Russia - First a general topic: Beside the track right after the first white line is blue surface (or the curb) and then a second white line. In the game there are sometimes grey bars, but in real life they are also painted white. Some examples: - The curb outside of turn 1 ends earlier in real life and there is more grass at the left side (the grass begins earlier) - There is only one 150m break board before turn 2. It is in the left fence in real life, but in the right fence in the game. - The 100m and 50m break boards before turn 2 are also in the right fence. - The orange bump at the outside of turn 2 is too small in the game. - Just behind turn 2 is a curb and a green carpet at the right side of the track in real life. - There is no Fanatec advertisement outside of turn 3. - The wall at the inside of turn 3 is too close to the track in the game. - The curb inside of turn 3 ends too early in the game. - The orange bump inside of turn 4 is smaller in real life. The curve is also sharper in real life. - There is a long red sausage curb outside of turn 4. - The 50m break board in the left fence before turn 5 is missing in the game. - There is no break board 50m before turn 7 in the left fence in the game. - Outside of turn 7 is a long red sausage curb. The aramco-advertsement is Rolex advertisement. - The advertisement between turn 9 and turn 10 is from Rolex, there are tecpro-barriers outside of turn 9. - The 50m break board before turn 10 (in the left fence) is missing in the game. - The red bump inside of turn 10 is smaller in real life. - The DRS activation point is earlier in real life (between turn 10 and turn 11). The advertisement is from Rolex. - The 50m break board before turn 13 is missing in the game. The wall is right beside the track. - The Fanatec advertisement between turn 13 and turn 14 is Fly Emirates advertisement in real life. - The grass on the left side between turn 13 and turn 14 is green surface in real life (the grass begins later). - The green surface between turn 14 and turn 15 is smaller in real life and the curb is flat. - The red sausage curb inside of turn 15 is smaller in real life, the inside of turn 15 is painted red. - There is a white line between turn 16 and turn 17, but it is not existing in real life. - The white line and the bollard at the pit entrance is removed in real life. - There is a red sausage curb outside of turn 17. - The curb at the left side of the track before turn 18 ends earlier in real life. - The bollard inside of turn 18 is too close to the track in real life. - The finish line is between position 27 and position 28 in the game, but at position 25 and position 26 in real life. Thus the curb ends too early in the game.

Singapore - The road markings are clearly visible in real life but fading in the game. (As you can see on many screenshots below) - the red flag line is gone in real life. - There is a single orange bump inside of turn 1 instead of the four small ones. - The surface inside of turn 2 is green instead of grey. - At the right side of turn 3 is a board with an arrow. - Inside of turn 3 is a single orange bump instead of the four small bumps in the game. - The curb outside of turn 3 is beside the wall in real life (so in real life there is more space outside of turn 3). The wall at the left side is painted blue. - The walls are remaining blue till turn 6. There is no Fanatec advertisement between turn 5 and turn 6. - The colour of the walls is changing to yellow right before turn 6. The white line inside of turn 6 is direct at the wall. - The curb at the right side before turn 7 is completely flat and closer to the wall. (The colour of the walls is remaining yellow in real life) - The curb inside of turn 7 is closer to the wall. - Outside of turn 7 are five red bumps in real life. - The white line at the left side before turn 8 is closer to the wall. - The curb inside of turn 8 is closer to the wall and more flat. - The white line outside of turn 8 is closer to the wall. The walls are still painted yellow. - The curb inside of turn 9 is more flat and a bit more pointed. (and the wall is still yellow) - The curb inside of turn 10 is more pointed. - Outside of turn 10 is no curb. There are Tecpro-barriers and the wall is still painted yellow. The white line at the left side is closer to the wall and the right Rolex-bridge is not existing in real life. - The aramco-advertisement is Rolex-advertisement in real life (turns 11, 12 and 13) and the wall is still yellow. - There is more space between the track and the wall in turn 12. - The white line at the right side between turn 13 and turn 14 is much closer to the wall. - The DRS board in the right fence is missing in the game (between turn 13 and turn 14) - There is no gap between the wall and the curb before turn 14. - The curb inside of turn 14 seems to be a bit too high in the game. - The curb outside of turn 14 ends way too early in the game and further down there is no space between the left wall and the track (compared with the road markings the white line has moved a bit to the left side and the wall moved a bit to the right side). The walls are still yellow. - The white line inside of turn 15 is closer to the wall. (the wall on the right side is still yellow). - There are no orange bumps inside of turn 16 in real life. - The curb outside of turn 17 ends much earlier in real life. - The curb and the white line inside of turn 18 is closer to the wall. Outside of turn 18 are no Tecpro-barriers. - Inside of turn 19 is a single orange bump instead of four small bumps. The curb seems to be a bit more flat in real life. From now on the walls are painted light-blue/turquoise. - The white line at the left side between turn 19 and turn 20 is closer to the wall. - Inside of turn 20 is a single orange bump instead of four small bumps. The walls are now painted light-blue/turquoise. - Inside of turn 21 is a single orange bump instead of four small bumps, the yellow floor advertisement is smaller. - The wall outside of turn 21 is closer to the track in real life. - The DRS detection line is missing in the game (between turn 21 and turn 22). (the walls are still painted light-blue/turquoise). - The white line across the track at the pit entrance was moved. The beginning of the curb at the pit entrance is different from real life. - In real life is a curb at the right side of the track (before turn 22). (The wall at the left side is still painted light-blue/turquoise) - The whole curb inside of turn 22 and 23 is higher (also the yellow parts and not just the red-white part). The wall at the left side is direct beside the pit entrance (in the game is a small gap between the pit entrance and the wall) - The DRS activation point is earlier in real life (around position 29 in the grid in real life, but around position 27 in the game)

Thanks, I appreciate this. It was a bit annoying to compare the tracks in version 1.07 and 1.08 since the game was constantly crashing in the replays. With 1.09 it seems to be more stabil. I just hope that the tracks wont look like 2016 in future games and maybe there are some minor changes that can be done with this years game (adding missing break boards, removing break boards that are not present in real life and maybe even adjusting DRS zones and finish lines/intermediates).

    Change tyre compound rules

I´m glad that the game is now playable after the tyre compound bug. So i hope that there will be no changes at that rule, this could possibly break the game again. Your suggestion should be technically possible to implement, but since it is against the official rules i doubt that it will happen in F1 2020 or any other F1 game in the future.

    F1 2020 ERS System

I think a few weeks ago someone from CM had said that there will not be any new modes for the ERS system, because in 2020 it is implemented pretty realistic and there are no additional modes in real F1 during the race. There is a qualifying setting wth the two modes "none" and "hotlap" which are not avaliabe in the race since they can only be used for a short amount of time, otherwise this modes would break the ERS in real life.
  12. Davidj7077

    Hard tyres in qualy

Thats understandable. And since I´m usually using the softer allocation, I´d sometimes like to use the mediums. But I assume that for CM it is more important that the experts which are damaging their tyres can attempt a race than giving other players the full freedom of chosing their tyres. Especially because its nearly impossible to set a good time with hards if a good balanced AI difficulty is chosen.
  13. Davidj7077

    Hard tyres in qualy

I think that a set of mediums and a set of hards is locked, because otherwise it would be technically possible to damage all mediums and hards in qualifying (very easy e.g. in Monaco). In that case it would be pointless to drive the race, you would be DSQed in the last lap because you can not use a second compound. Or you can damage every set of tyres so you cannot start at all. Or it would be possible to damage so many tyres that it would be impossible to get over the distance. Edit: I would also like to be able to use the medium tyre in qualifying. But the hard tyre is too slow in my opinion - i do always avoid them during the race, so i don´t know why you want to drive the hards in qualifying.

There is no "step" in the green surface. There is no advertisement at the inside, but Fly Emirates advertisement also at the barrier. - Right after turn 9 is green surface instead of grass.

France - There is a second yellow bollard at the inside of turn 2 - There are some small yellow bumps in turn 7 - There are some additional small yellow bumps in turn 9 - There are some additional small yellow bumps after turn 9, there are no red markings. - There are some additional road markings between turn 9 and turn 10 - The Fanatec advertisement at the bridge between turn 9 and turn 10 is a Fly Emirates advertisement - There is no 150m break board at the left side of the track before turn 11 - The second DRS zone is a little bit too early in the game ant there are more grid position markings in real-life. At the right side is also Pirelli advertisement. - In 2018 i really liked that there were boards showing the number of every turn. Unfortunately they were gone 2019.
