Today I was starting TT and perhaps I can confirm the quoted post by @MarkR2020 from an user point of view: while usually I can normally see the leaderboard at the first TT enter (and then no way to reaload it after I come back to the garage "later"), today I entered TT mode but had a call so I didn't click immediately to watch the leaderboard screen, 2-3 minutes later I did it but I faced the typical issue ("loading forever"), so probably it's really a matter of "time": it works at the very beginning, something is broken later. Probably it's where it should be investigated. Just to add it @BarryBL Have a nice day

Just to add a couple of screen, here (last 2 minutes in Q1) it looks only the last 5 drivers (going to be eliminated) and the "driver at risk" do a last qualifying attempt...

Hi there, the problem is the following: in the last races of my career I'm always starting far ahead in the grid than I achieved in qualifying because (too) many AI cars got penalized in the garage. Some examples: R19 Austin - qualified 15th, started 11th R20 Mexico - qualified 7th, started 4th R21 Interlagos - qualified 17th, started 13th This looks a bit unrealistic as they probably could be smarter in their garage. For example when I realized I couldn't complete the season without any change (even if only for 1 piece) and after a bad qualifying in R17 Sochi (15th) I decided to change all the pieces, got something like 60-70 grid penalties and just started 20th once. While the AI is probably changing one piece each time and got penalized so many races... Yes, there’s surely a logic but, as a matter of fact, it’s penalizing for them. Unless it’s Hamilton or Bottas, they would always start the race at the very bottom (P15-P20) multiple times rather than only once. Thank you for reply @BarryBL 🙂

Got something weird again in Abu Dhabi Q1 (AI 100)... I have not the screenshots but Verstappen lead the session with an astonishing 1:32,450 while pole position time (same weather, dry) is 1:33,222 by Hamilton and Verstappen only 1:33,657 more than one second slower! Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce it, just meet it every now and then, but I guess some kind of issue must be hidden probably in the simulated lap times... Bye, Nuv

Hi there, I'm ending my 1st Driver Career season and I'm undecided how to continue. The saving system looks a bit tricky, I would need to understand: 1) if I start a new Driver Career (to repeat season 1, not going into season 2) will I keep or lose my previous career save? 2) And what about if I start a MyTeam Career? My goal would probably be to play another season 1 but I don't want to lose my save. I'm on PS4. Any reply would be really appreciated Cheers, Nuv

Absolutely agree, it's just incredible how the AI is working good here It's true that I'm away from racing sim since 20 years (it was running MGPRS2 ), so I have not recent comparisons but I'm having so great fun with F1 2020

A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. I was running the FP1 of the USA GP (Driver Career), I played the session then it started to rain at -20/30 minutes to go. I didn't rejoin the track and accelerated the time. In the final screen of the session 3 drivers (Leclerc, Sainz, Raikkonen) did their best lap with the Intermediate compound, which was absolutely impossible, at least with those lap times! Have a look at the picture: So I went to the Race Director to try to understand more... Here the times of those 3 drivers, yellow rectangles where they looked like a "dry" lap time, red rectangles for assumed "wet" times. I got the same picture also for a 4th driver (Bottas) who made his bestlap with (M) and switched to (I) continuing to have the same lap times more or less: As last here the results of the following Q1 interely run with Intermediate tyres: The point is OK that (in FP1) the track was dry and then only a light rain began, but even having a totally dry track it's just impossible that a F1 car with Intermediates can match the pace of any dry compound!!! First time ever I noticed a button "watch highlights" after the race has been in Austria with patch 1.08, cannot be 100% sure but I guess it was the first time that button was there. I could watch the race highlights (very well done!) and also record them with my cam. I was expecting to do the same after the following race, Silverstone (patch 1.09) but... that button is not there anymore! Why? How can I watch the race highlights? Update after 19 races Unless something has been fixed by the devs in the last couple of weeks, it looks weird now (I have changed nothing from my side): - I got my only (automatically saved) race highlight in Austria (race n.11 of the calendar) in the first half of the season; - I got my 2nd highlight in Monza (race n.15); - no highlights in Singapore (n.16) but then 3 highlights in a row in Sochi, Suzuka and Austin (n.17 - n.18 - n.19) Anyone else experience this? Hi, I continue my post, I have gone deeply inside but there's still something weird around, here my experience: 10. doesn't allow to modify the weather if one simply goes back to the Main Menu but 11. if one exits completely and restarts the whole game, continues career, finally get back to the General Quarter again before to start the new weekend but here the mystery: my experience "1" in Suzuka gave me some hopes, because until 10. my weather was this one after 11. (but note that after you restart the game you got autosave automatically back ON, and I didn't notice that) I got this one, so having the toggle to ON: Perhaps the weather triggers differently between autosave OFF & ON, please continue to read to understand what I mean. After Suzuka I repeated the steps before the new Austin GP (experience "2") but this time I looked better around the autosave toggle. There's a Sochi invitation event after Suzuka and, at first, I turned autosave OFF before that event, I played it, went into the General Quarter and then to the Austin weekend (at this point it automatically starts a video of the Team Principal about the rules of the next season) having this weather: Normally I would be quite happy of it but I had to understand so I repeated my steps: quit the game, restart it, check the autosave toggle (which was already turned OFF at this stage), continue career (Japan is on the screen yet), reach directly the Invitation Event in Sochi, exit it and go again in the Austin GP first screen -> the waether was always the same! I repeated the steps 5 times to be 100% sure, always the same weather!!! At this point I decide to try another (similar) way, turning temporarily autosave ON, playing the Invitation Event in Sochi again then exit to the Main Menu and set back autosave to OFF. Quit the game, restart it, check autosave toggle --> now it's automatically set back to ON! Probably the fact that the "continue career GP" is now not Suzuka anymore, but Austin, did that weird modification. However I set it back to OFF again and continued the career to check if the weather change and... NO, always the same! I repeated these steps other 2-3 times, each time I enter the game the autosave toggle is automatically back to ON and I manual turn it to OFF before to start the career but no way to change the weather at all 😭 As final step, I exit the game once again, restart it, check the autosave toggle (ON), leaving it to ON and continue the career like I did in Japan (and the weather changed) but this time, no idea if just because unlucky or if that Team Principal video may affect in any way but the weather is always the same! So what are the points so far: - the weather may change in some way, at least it may be potentially calculated diffently between autosave OFF and ON, like I experienced in Japan; - it's not simply calculated at random by starting a race weekend as I got 7-8 times always the same identical weather; - what I still have to test (I will try in Mexico) is in a standard weekend without Invitation Events and/or video extra before the new weekend, etc., if I can at least reproduce the trick which worked in Japan, firstly I will try always having autosave OFF, if it doesn't work I'll try with ON as last chance to change the weather (which in some way worked in Japan). Hi, I would like to suggest a small feature, something like a "call for the box during Qualifying" (click a button or radio message or whatever) to ask them a fast change with the best tires available of my chosed compound rather then entering the box normally, waiting the car to be moved inside the garage losing so much time... I know this usually does not happen in the real but, in some conditions, it may be pretty useful, look at this scenario: I'm running a Qualifying session, I start my lap at 4 minutes to go, I make a mistake, I reach the box at -2 minutes -> game over -> too slow procedure in the box to try another flying lap!
