Also try here for common troubleshooting tips that might help you out! A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Bought my first wheel, Logitech G29 a couple of months ago. Since I had never used a wheel or know anyone else that uses a wheel I didn't know what to expect regarding the force feedback. In an online game using a party chat someone mentioned usually the G29s are loud and others can hear them thru the mic, he thought my wheel was defective. I hadn't played Gran Turismo with the wheel and tried it, and can feed the force back in that game so it seems there seems to be an issue with F1 2020. I've tried rebooting the wheel, the F1 game, and the PS4, no luck. Suggestions or is this a know bug? If so when will it be fixed? WRONG FORCE FEEDBACK ON LOGITECH G29 IN F1 2020 (PROBLEM IDENTIFIED)
Spivey-CJ replied to PrakharVats's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
Logitech G29 on F1 2020 with PS4. I have NO force feedback using custom wheel settings. It's my first wheel and I don't know anyone else with a wheel to compare, so I don't know exactly what I should feel. During a recent online race someone said G29's are loud and they can usually hear them thru my mic in the game party. So I tried the wheel in Gran Turismo (first time using the wheel in that game) and could immediately feel the force feedback so it has to be something in F1 2020. I will try with the default wheel setting today and report back -
Agreed, took 3-4 practice sessions with wheel then was faster than with pad

I always struggle with fuel program, can't beat the time and save fuel

I'm an intermediate player looking for a league that allows some assists. I race clean and take it seriously, just new to the game and can't hang with the 'experts". I've tried several thru the leagues section of the game, but have found only 2-3 people show up even though 20 are signed up. A few races I've been the only one to show up. I've looked through discord site and it seems all the leagues are for more advanced players. In addition does anyone have tips/instructions for navigating Discord? For a new member it seems chaotic and unorganized but I'm sure there's a method to the madness

Hi Guys, does anyone know if Logitech G29 (or other current PS4 wheels) will be compatible with PS5? Also based on past game/platform releases any predictions if F1 2021 will be offered on both PS4 and PS5 or only PS5?

thanks. Yes I should have googled, my bad. I heard it hadn't been officially announced but this info wasn't correct

Under damage settings none, full and reduced are self explanatory, but what does simulation/simulated mean?

Hi guys, in a league with NO qualifying, does anyone know how the grid is set? Random? off points standings? Reverse point standings? I'm in small league 3 man league with remaining cars AI, we seem to always qualify one at the top, one in the middle, one at the back. So a random grid or a way to assign the grid could mix things up some. thanks

Hi Guys, I'm new to the game (have 2020 on PS4) and have found many videos/posts where experienced players post their car setups for a given track. Any tips on how to choose who's or which setup to use? Or simple rule of thumb changes to setups posted by experienced players adjusted for a beginner? I understand a lot of it is personal preference, but I'm not good or consistent enough to try different setups and then compare lap times to determine which is best or me. I guess the question is, should newbies have more downforce than an experienced player to help with handling? Softer or firmer suspension? More or less psi? thanks

New to game, can anyone explain a little more about ghosting? is it the same in all modes and situations, assuming it's either on or off? I just started checking this setting when beginning an online race, does the ghosting only apply during crashes? Same for both real or AI drivers? I can't remember the exact mode or scenario, I think it was during an online race that had a few AI cars and sometimes I drove right through them, tried it again and it caused a collision. I also recall in another race being lapped by a real driver and I was ghosted

That was it, I didn't notice there was X to enter regular mode or square to enter pro mode. thanks guys

I'm a beginner still using a few assists and race AI around 22-23. I started driver career in the (3) race F2 mode just to see what it's like. It changed all my camera settings, TV-Pod to cockpit the most severe, took away all assists and AI was at 110. It wasn't possible to change anything, so I started over and got the same result. Did I do something wrong or is driver career no assists only? Speaking of, holy cow is it tough to drive with zero assists...
