G29 does not work at all on F1 2020
LogiUK replied to MightyBaguette's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
@steviejay69 Actually it makes no difference - in either the PS3 or PS4 position G HUB will still detect the wheel and switch it to PC mode. @mjg1301I could do with a full list of games that you've tried the wheel with please. Also, is the wheel present and working when you test it in the Game Controllers app in Windows (joy.cpl from the run window)? -

@mjg1301 @steviejay69 Have you checked the general controller settings in Steam to make sure nothing is ticked in there? Is the wheel working in other games? -
Logitech G923 button support for F1 2019/20 on Xbox

Sorry, no idea at the moment - still waiting to hear back from them. -
Hi there, This one is covered in the Logitech troubleshooting topic that BarryBL posted recently. There's a single step that you're missing - you need to return the wheel to centre after turning it in the required direction. THEN it will assign.

Logitech G29 Wheel rotates only from fully left to fully right
LogiUK replied to webfatal's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
What about the other G29 entry in the control schemes that you have there? (the one with the tick next to it). Does it do the same thing in there? And you say you've deleted the control scheme, but did you delete both of those entries that include the G29? The fact that it's working fine in G HUB does indicate that the wheel is okay, but there could be something else getting in the way here. Are you able to test in other racing titles? -
WRONG FORCE FEEDBACK ON LOGITECH G29 IN F1 2020 (PROBLEM IDENTIFIED)
LogiUK replied to PrakharVats's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
Understood. It's difficult to analyse the video without actually feeling what the wheel is doing too! Regarding FFB settings, it was more the other settings (On track effects, dampening etc.) that I was intrigued to see. -
WRONG FORCE FEEDBACK ON LOGITECH G29 IN F1 2020 (PROBLEM IDENTIFIED)
LogiUK replied to PrakharVats's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
I'm not sure what to suggest to be honest. Based on the evidence it seems to be something coming from F1 2020 somewhere, especially as it only seems to happen in the default balanced setup? It's definitely odd that it just started happening though as it doesn't coincide with the release date for the latest patch for F1 2020 (unless @PrakharVats has only just allowed the patch to download and install at the weekend?! Unlikely, especially if they play online...) Certainly, we've made no changes to the SDK for the wheels recently. I guess the follow-up questions would be what force feedback settings are applied and also what level of assists? And does altering any of those assists makes any difference to the feelings that are being experienced through the wheel? -
@slogrits Check your assignments page - it should look something like this (the G923 Xbox title is just what I called my custom setup). Provided you have all the axes correctly assigned and matching what I have on my screen then everything should work. The fact that the Calibrate tab is greyed out for you tells me that you may not have assigned the wheel and pedal axes fully.

The wheel should still work fine - please confirm. The rev LED will only work once Codemasters integrate support for Trueforce into F1 2020. The basic Xbox wheel specification does not support rev LEDs, so we have added that via our Trueforce SDK.

Hi there, Whilst the G923 isn't natively supported yet, you can still set it up to work. I'm assuming you're on PC here as the console versions should just work automatically. You'll need to go to the Control Settings and edit the G923 wheel that you'll see in the list. It's then a process of assigning the different parts of the wheel to each command that you want - e.g. highlight Steer Left, press Return on the keyboard to indicate that you want to assign it, rotate the wheel all the way left and then back to centre and it should assign it (you should see X- appear). Do that for all other functions and save it. Do also remember to go into the force feedback settings and turn the Wheel Dampening all the way down to 5 or 10% otherwise it makes the wheel feel very heavy and unresponsive.

F12020 not detecting new Logitech g923 wheel on pc.
LogiUK replied to sdRUN's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
Hi All, The wheel will work fine if you go and configure it in the controls. When you configure the Steer Left/Right functions it should come up as X- and X+ respectively. If it's done that then you're good to go. Remember that when assigning the steering F1 has a very low timeout whilst it waits for input so you need to turn the wheel all the way in the respective direction and then get it back to centre quickly too. Once you've got everything set up, remember to go and turn the wheel dampening down to 5 or 10% in the force feedback section otherwise the wheel just won't feel right. -

Logitech G923 button support for F1 2019/20 on Xbox
LogiUK replied to Monzie83's topic in Technical Assistance
Hi there. The extra controls and the RPM LEDs are only possible on Xbox because of the extra SDK that we created to enable Trueforce on Xbox. Developers who incorporate Trueforce support therefore have the option of enabling those extra functions too - ACC does, for example. -
Hi there. Could you share your FFB settings as you have them in F1 2020 please? Just in case you are, I don't recommend directly copying G29 settings because the wheel is more responsive as a result of the new electronics.
