Are you intentionally not using punctuation marks at all to make it harder to read your texts? What's your age? ;-) not thatit's any of your business but I'm 36 -
had akeeper sent off once in a game recently myself which I found strange but it doesn't happen very often mind you
-
quite rightly too based on what I saw needless behaviour if you have a problem with what happened you complain to the ref about it you don't do that.

Yeah it will pop up in your library for all who pre-ordered via Steam. I'd add that something people ask for a lot is more Demo Derby in GRID... Showdown is a whole game of demo derby! The game is a lightweight bit of fluff, but you have linked it to RaceNet so the competitive juices have risen amongst friends' scores . . .I'm going to perfect that T-Bone until I get up the board . . ~O) tbh Autosport is good enough to stand on it's own feet in my opnion I don't need Dirt Showdown to encourage me I agree, and my cynical side asks why add this freebie at such a late stage ? Are pre-orders very low ? Are they expecting Autosport not to come up to expectations so are showing us it could have been a lot worse . . . by giving us Showdown ? It's pointless comparing DD in Grid with Showdown, they both have a completely different feel. ~O) having not played Showdown myself I can't really comment on it. I do own Dirt1,2 and 3 though although I don't watch or play many rally games I prefer track based racing but I do enjoy those games. It's possible that people may be still be feeling a little bitter over what happened last year with Grid 2 and F1 2013. I believe CM are trying to make amends with this as it certainly looks a much better effort. I just hope F1 2014 marks a return to form for that series too. I''ll make do with my copy of Autosport for now though

Don't some of these circuits have large and high sausage kerbs in real life though? To stop drivers from taking too much kerb. Only where advantages can be gained though I think
-
I'm 1000% sure I've seen you post this exact post a long time ago :D Probably did :p But it's a tactic that still works, and it's hilarious ;) yeah given it works with AI too sometimes it's a useful tactic

i had SEGA Master system and MEGA DRIVE too... i liked virtua racing there... :) yeah think I played Ayrton Senna Monaco GP once on the Megadrive that was good fun never had a megadrive myself but there was this shop in Canterbury (Kent UK) years ago that had a line of consoles/computers where you could pay to play games in there and see what they were like had hours of fun in there bought quite a few games for my computer to from there at the time. -
Well according to @Loore the open wheelers don't visit the street tracks very often in career mode although there are 1 or 2 in there I think he said I usually race with Damage off or visual only but only time will tell on the damage system.
-
yeah did that to an AI driver on Shift 1 at Spa when he tried to come at me worked too as I won that race in the end
-
Dirty driver he was. I assume you're talking about the 15yr old and not each other :p He put me into the wall because i was leading. oh dear not good at all. if you come across him again just return the favour I guess

NellyFurtado: 'Career mode has become stale'
sjsharp2010 replied to NellyFurtado's topic in General Discussion
I agree at the moment I'm sitting in the no camp as well I don't mind there being 2 less practice sessions as I only ever used the 1 anyway even on 2010 and 11 where I could run the whole weekend. I think it would be better though if there was more to do with career mode. I'd happily sacrifice season challenge and scenario mode if they made this happen and straightened out the AI (at least on the bottom levels with the improvements I've suggested in other posts in the forum then maybe just maybe they might win me back over. Season challenge and Scenario mode are fun but there's little scope for improvement there. The only thing you can do that might make Season challenge more interesting would be an option to either pick the 10 races yourself or have the computer select at random 10 tracks thereby making it different every time you play. This way one time you may be racing your fave tracks another time you'll be on your least favourite that kind of thing. Grid Autosport has definitely got my interest as it looks like CM are trying to make things right there. I can only hope the same happens with F1 but only time will tell. -
Are you talking multiplayer or singleplayer? Because if you're talking single the game has practice and qualifying which allow you to determine your place on the grid using the laps your allowed
-
It's not a full on sim though. It's a semi with a forgiving nature and they want to show that side of the game too so doing it this way is good I think That's for sure. Those Touring cars look like they can take a race ending hit without having any real damage, although it's hard to tell from the videos what causes real damage and what effect it has on your car. Not having the ability to fix it makes, in theory, people be more careful, but if the amage really doesn't have that much of an adverse effect, this may just be GRID2 dressed up in fancy clothes. not sure if any of the players had the damage on full though it's hard to say I know most are up against harder level AI but as for full damage there probably are some crashes you can have that would end your race though. @Loore has constantly said on here they're tweaking things all the time at the moment and will continue to do so until the game gets released and even afterwards I'm sure they'll tweak things further if needed via patches too. So whsat we've seen may not be 100% what we get just a taster of it.

When will we here about DLC integration...
sjsharp2010 replied to V8R3L3NTL3SS1's topic in General Discussion
I'm back :) It is on my to-do list, will look at getting some info out there soon, before launch deffinitely. wel it needs doing fast then given it's out in less than 2 weeks :D :p -
How important do you think Setup's will be?
sjsharp2010 replied to mikevoltz1's topic in General Discussion
I think that'd only show up in Carmageddon, thankfully. ;) indeed -
yeah I tend to on F1 2011 and 12 as I tend to find using Half my Kers allotment for that oprning lap to get me underway. On F1 2010 I use the method I mentioned above as that works best for me on that game
-
yeah so did I TV was good back then though can't say the same for it now. Thankfully the majority of the good shows from back then aer available on DVD so we can continue to enjoy them

well done :D
-
yeah I don't think it works quite as smoothly as the old one
-
that's what happens to me as well if you click on the button that says Show source and post the link on a separate line then it'll work that's generally how I get this forum to post my videos. It's not a perfect solution as it throws the writing in the post off a bit but it's the best I've been able to do so far
-
well Senderos used to be quite good I wouldn't say that now though but then the same could be said for Cole

I plan on doing a few practice races and laps before I get stuck into career mode too
