What system you buying Grid Autosport for?
sjsharp2010 replied to Pichon617's topic in General Discussion
and the PC shoots into the lead is there no catching it? :p -
only if it's moer fun thoughI'd have to play them to know it. The only game I play from that period is probably the Sonic games really as the earlier 2d Sonic's aer much better than the newer 3d ones although Sonic Generations game is quite good which is a mix of both

apparently according to Sky sports news Bristol zoo has a psychic Lion and it predicted England would win tonight's game not sure I believe it though. The prediction that is

Have a feeling it will be I can see myself maybe even doing moer than one career mode in the game anyway if the game plays as well as it looks that's for sure

What do you want in F1 2014? GAME IDEAS
sjsharp2010 replied to mateyapfc's topic in General Discussion
Pertty suer it'll all be programmed in don't worry about that. CMknow what they're doing the key thing for me is will it work or will it be as big a mess as it'ds predecessor -
Lamborghini cars are definitely something that I miss in GRID series compared with NFS series. Porsche would be nice too. Indeed, animations take too long in GRID2 so that they are sometimes quite annoying. Selecting livery is one of such cases. Animations should be smart enough: e.g. when a user goes through more than one menu item, animations should not slow down his movement though menu. Previous animation should be cancelled immediately once the user does some next action in user interface (e.g. shifts to another menu item while previous animation is not yet finished). Another case: if the user presses Escape (e.g. when he unexpectedly gets "Race rules" ["nicely" animated of course] instead of "Reset" due to Reset item suddenly became inactive in the menu during race), then he should be able to escape immediately — without need to pointlessly wait for animation to finish (with Race rules such annoying waiting causes losing many seconds and quite often results in subsequent retiring from the race). Animation may be finished visually when appropriate, but UI reaction to user action should be immediate anyway. Porsche can't be in Grid. EA owns it on some contract. I think Microsoft owns Ferrari but don't quote me on that! I want saab tho. I feel like it's missing from most racing games. yeah as it would have been nice to see some Ferrari's too but I think they've given us a wide selection of cars and tracks to drive so I am encouraged by this game

Grid Autosport: Will those end game cheat codes be returning from Grid 1?
sjsharp2010 replied to MLPDiamondheart's topic in General Discussion
is that a yes then Lee? Oh sorry thats my bad I should have been clearer - I don't think they are sadly, I've been nagging for us to put the ToCA Tank and the Jellycar cheats back in our games for ages now but nobody listens to me :( aww at least we do .:( :p -
If they can keep it together and not lose their heads like France did a few years back then yes but I think for them it's a matter of staying calm and not panicking

NellyFurtado: 'Career mode has become stale'
sjsharp2010 replied to NellyFurtado's topic in General Discussion
I think changes are needed and CM know this they knew that about Grid and look what we're getting a newer better Grid in Autosport with a far better career mode I hope something similar happens with F1. I think it will and it needs to with the new consoles and new racing games coming out end of the year they have to deliver otherwise they risk being left behind for the other games. -
Did you know some people used to say that by F12010 too? well in my opinion 2010 though has been probably the best of the bunch so far

well atleast you can laugh at us tomorrow as we screw things up yet again :p

Grid Autosport Videos and screen shots thread

I agree the only time I tend to rub shoulders with the AI is when I'm doing the touring cars. The thing I've noticed about the AI though is that it looks like it races and behaves a lot like CM's early F1 games and by that I mean F1 2010-2012 rather than 13 and Grid 2 Obviously I don't know how you see and feel it given you've actually raced them but that's what it looks like in the vids to me. Does it feel that way to you or am I reading it wrong? -
got to say wasn't expe4cting that but well done Holland just hope our boys have been taking notes because that's how you win football matches

As much as I like the way they play I don't want to see them win either. I'd rather see the wins go to a more deserving team

going on PC as I generally do when I have the option as although I do have a PS3 the PC is my primary gaming platform -
I don't BAR/Honda were never the strongest team and they only really woke up once Ross Brawn got involved for me the only reason why McLaren and Ferrari are struggling is because they're lacking leadership right now. I think now thart Ron Dennis has reasserted himself back in charge there's hope McLaren can recover a full recovery still takes time though tbf. Ferrari on the other hand still need a Ross Brawn/Ron Dennis type character with a clear vision to start leading them if they want to even think about recovering tbh. It's got nothing to do with Button because on the one occasion he's hada shot at glory he's taken it so he can't be all that bad. I was joking. The blame is not on Button. But in an (ideal) situation with McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes being almost on equal terms, you're not going to win the battle with Button as the leading driver regardless. maybe/ maybe not but he is consistent and to me that'll always work in his favour as he doesn't get involved in too many accidents/incidents.

Exactly Autosport is their priority right now and based on what I've seen of the game it deserves time in the limelight as it looks like CM have put a lot of time and effort into reshaping Grid after Grid 2's failures I just hope that F1 has been given a similar revamp for 2014 because like Grid it did somewhat fail in it's objectives last year with the exception of classics
