don't know what you're finding so funny @Hughesy By James Bond I mean t by the type of game and what you d oin it and by that I mean ther e are elements of stealth and also shooting and blowing things up along the way through the story that's what I meant
-
Well it played like one to me at least Portable Ops did.
-
well from what I've seen and played it felt like it to me.
-
Yeah I've seen this myself I'm tempted by it too Especially as on Steam atm they'll throw in Ground Zero's with it if you pre-order and I don't have either game I know a little about MGS but I've never really played it except on the PSP as I was given an MGS game one Christmas for that. I know it's very James Bond esque. But I have to admit it does look good.

I did download the Win 10 driver but it didn't really make any difference besides and as I said I've made my choice now and I'm back with Win 7 still need to reinstall everything but the drivers and all that are back on. Also I've read it's recommended you wipe your hard drive every so often anyway at least once a year or so. Which as I said also was why I chose to do it this way in the first place. Besides my computer was due for it anyway and it's now working fine. Which is more than I can say for this forum atm.

well I'm back on Win 7 now anyway so it's done. I've made the decision.

I wasn't having problems with Win 7 itself I was only having glitches because my hard drive was full. I've actually had more problems with Windows 10 than with 7. I've also had those hard drive issues before not just on this computer but on every computer I've owned in that every now and then I've needed to give my machines a clear out and start again which is what I did here. I was just combining it with an opportunity to try Windows 10 out which I've now done and as I've said right now in it's current state I don't think it's for me so I'm going to go back. Because based on what I experienced last night in trying to get F1 2010 working and failed I have quite a few games that are likely to have issues. Maybe this will change in the future but for now I think it's in my best interest to go back.

Yeah we're in desperate need of a striker too atm with only Harry Kane banging in the goals for us we need another quality finisher.
-
Well if that's the case I'm better off staying with Win 7 then as everything ran fine in Win 7 maybe I'll return to win 10 when I get a new computer. Can't see why anything would over heat as I don't overclock anything and my rooms quite cool. Nice experiment while it lasted but I just don't feel Windows 10 is for me atm. I'm not asying it's a bad OS but right now it's just not doing what I want it to do. So until I can be suer that it does I'll stick with Win 7 I think because I care about my games and if I can't ge tthem to work the way I want them to I don't see the point.

Have to asy I think I'mexperiencimg moer bugs now in F1 2015 since I've switched to Win 10 strqange really I've only managed to do 1 3 lap race on the game so I could be wrong but it crashed as soon as I finished. Also looks like I'll have to start the Witcher 1 again from scratch as it didn't save to the cloud Also anyone looking to play F1 2010 on Windows 10 Forget it it doesn't work.

Just heard that Career mode for Fifa 16 has received a few tweaks this year you'll be able to participate in pre season tournaments like the clubs do and also they've added the German Bundesliga to the officially licensed treatment of leagues in joining the Premier league.

Have to say this Recore game looks interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdP3zmv2gY4

Reinstalling ME3 hopefully that'll help straighten things out
-
didn't like it at first but eventually it worked DAI is now back up and running Should have posted here before wasting money :p Where did you buy the disc version? If you don't open it you can get a refund. now after all that ME3's stopped working so I'm not actually sure it's helped that much. Dosen't matter though as I think I'd have bought a disc copy anyway eventually as games I like I end up getting a disc copy. So I don't really consider it wasting my money as I've ended up having to buy multiple copies of games before for one reason or another This problem just ended up accelerating it. I think those changes ended up really screwing Origin

Unfortunately the game is not showing up in any folders atm and that link you gave me is saying it's not compatible with my PC.
-
If you can't install the download version, the disc version will be no different. You still have to download most of the game. Does it give you error message? yeah it does It says "The VC++ redistributable package was not installed successfully Setup cannot continue" and that was after waiting 4 hours waiting for the game to download. Strange really as it installed nice and fast on Win 7 when I bought it. It sounds to me that one file or somethings been kicked out. Strange really as so far all the ME's have gone on nice and smoothly in fact they're running better than ever based on the opening levels of ME3 that I've played. Anyway my DAI disc copy has already been dispatched so it's too late to cancel that. Besides even if I switch back to Win 7 means I'll be able to install it faster anyway using the disc. I'm hoping I don't need to switch back though but so far it's the only glitch I've found. Shame really as DAI has become one of my favourite games this year

Just run into my first problem with Windows 10 attempting to download Dragon Age Inquisition and it won't install Been thinking about getting a disc copy of the game for a while as I've played it a lot since I bought it including the DLC of which there is more to come. Bought a disc copy from Amazon hopefully when that arrives I can get it working
-
well one nice thing I can say about Win 10 my favourite game works on it at least. :p
-
Ah right haven't encountered any issues thus far but I've only installed Tomb Raider atm
-
Once they're installed they work fineit's only when I initially install them I have to have Steam online to verify everything. Once it's installed though and gone through an initial boot up everything works fine. So normally when after I've installed one I usually boot it up to the main menu to clear it.

aww had that problem a few times myself when I played the game. Just about to start assembling my game library on Windows 10 now. Just need to get Steam and Origin back up and running. Also need to install my older games too to make sure they still work. Had a few problems with my headphone drivers but aside from that it's been working well so far. I did manage to get the headphones working eventually though. If you have any problems with games in Steam crashing on launch with W10, just verify the game files. I've done it a few times now and verifying has worked each time :) yeah I know I quite often have to verify my installations everytime I install a new Steam game anyway on Win 7 as well so am used to that.

well there is one nice thing about Win 10 is that it's a lot faster or at least feels that way to me. So far the only things that have been awkward is finding the various functions but I know it's all there as last night I accidently installed some malware fortunately I did get rid of it though but took a while to find the uninstall features. Fortunately though I eventually managed to find the control panel and set it up on my Start menu. So should be easy to find now

well now that Win 10 is out I think we'll see it though just had to switch mice on my computer as I think that was being troublesome but hopefully now I've fixed those issues I can start to see the benefits of Win 10
