yeah went in nice and smoothly on my machine one of the smoothest installations I think I've vber had of an operating system. If it runs my games as smoothly as it went in on my machine me and Win 10 are going to get on very well I think. Still yet to test my games on it but I probably will at some point today as I still need to get a few other programs/drivers installed first so that I can hopefully get everything working.

Got it up and running now went pretty smoothly looks good so far

Strange but it doesn't really matter with regards my P Cars save so much as I've only really done 1 season it's more a case of I do want to save Autosport as I've done between 20/30 seasons of that give or take either way I've done a lot and I haven't even raced the top end cars on it yet Got Windows 10 downloading now.

I've put my PC in the upgrade system just need the OK to download now as I hadn't reserved it as usually I turn Windows update off when my computers running smoothly as I don't like it messing me up when in the middle of a game. Which Windows update has a habit of doing when I have it turned on. So I had to turn it on and run through the various updates to get it. Hope it doesn't take too long though. In the meantime will do another season or 2 on P Cars and Grid Autosport I think so I can save those to the cloud

I'm going for a fresh install though not an update because my PC is having a few problems that need clearing out right now anyway. So basically I'm wiping everything off my drive so I need to use the cloud to keep what I want to keep if I'm going for that. If it was going to be a simple update sure I wouldn't worry so much. Edit got to the point where I can stop on the Witcher 1 finally I think. In the case of the F1 games I'll likely just do 1 race weekend on each game to save them. On my other Steam games I have going I'll just likely take it to the next checkjpoint so this next step will be quicker. Once all that is done I'll be ready for Windows 10
-
Enjoy it going to be another day or 2 before I'm ready to install to try out but I hope I'll be ready to give it a try at somestage over the weekend. I'm busy trying to get my games saved over to the cloud first before making my move. I have the equipment I need as I keep backups on flash drives anyway. I'm just trying to get to a convenient place in my gasmes to stop and save to the cloud. Almost done that with Witcher 1 once I've done that I can do that with the other games.

I got it for £3 a few years back :p Great game though. yeah it is a good game I have it as well.

So do I. My point and click adventuer game The Longest Journey which I played again recently I've played loads of times although technically it only has 1 ending but I've gone through it plenty of times. The only games I've got that really have multiple ways of playing are really my RPG games.

Have to say I'm enjoying the Witcher 1 making progress through it albeit slow progress but it's proving interesting. Geralt is a bit of a gruff person. Kind of reminds me of the Master Chief from Halo
-
If I were you yes but it is up to you as that would have been around the price I'd have originally probably bought it at if I had chosen to hold off. Surprised the price has dropped off that quickly though.
-
good job I have no plans of buying it then.

Well that was something I wasn't expecting. Playing F1 2015 and I ended up lapping Vettel on lap 4 on my way to winning the Austrian GP

Yea it's totally different to the other Witcher games, tbh I hated the combat in the first game so never finished it. Yeah just had my rear end handed to me by the first boss. I almost had him though as I wittled his health right down. Have to admit though I prefer ME and DA's style of combat given you work as a team which can help over come any shortcomings you might have. Especially if you pick a well balanced team. Not too sure about combatting enemies on my own. Edit GOT HIM. I think I underswtqand the combat mechanics on this game now and how to fight. Still need to figure out the other RPG elements in the game but have to admit that although it is tricky it is a cool game. I get the feeling this game is going to be a bit like DA origins in that it's tricky to figure out but once you do it's extremely satisfying. Have to admit though I'm already looking forward to playing the 3rd game Ciri seems like a nice girl in the story and the graphics look beautiful if the youtube vids are to be believed. Playing the games in order though as I want to carry my experiences through from one game to the next just like with ME and DA seeing as I heard that you can.

Was going to wait until after I'd finished Alice Madness returns but decided I couldn't wait any longer. I've started the first Witcher game. I'm finding combat quite challenging but so far I'm getting through it.

Talking of Tomb raider I just found some gameplay if anyone's interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1j5wE03OBEs

Good stuff bud, I was thinking around then too :) Awesome on Life is Strange, after the cliffhanger I've been desperate for the next episode! And cool on TR, earlier than I expected but it was one of those games I could wait for :p Yeah I'm glad TR is coming out earlier tbh. Especially given ME Andromeda is scheduled for it's release towards the end of next year as well and that too is a game I want to get my hands on. Given both series are excellent they both deserve a moment in the sun. I'd suspect they'd both trip over one another if they both ended up being released at the end of the year ads I originaqlly expected.

Extremely good news as I really like the look of that new TR game. I just didn't want to get it on Xbox as I'd find the controls too awkward to use, so the fact that it won't be as long a wait as I was fearing it might be sounds good. Looks like there are a few QTE's in there but I hope there aren't as many as in the first game as personally I think they overdid that in the first game. It's probably my only complaint with the first game though as the rest of it is good. May go back in and run through the game again at some point but have my hands full working through other games atm.

Think I'm starting to adjust to the Alice game now got through the bit I was stuck on too having to use a couple of cheats to negotiate my way through but I think I'm getting better at it.
-
Playing Alice Madness Returns have to say I quite like the graphics on it. It's a bit cartoony but it kind of works well with this sort of game. Have to say the combat in this game is hard even on easy

yeah I'm hoping to get into that game soon I have the game but just haven't got around to playing yet. I'm working towards it though

What was wrong with it? well sometimes the Kinect stops functioning and performance wise it was all over the place when I went to install the new PGA game earlier on it. Hopefully it's working OK now though it looks as though it is. Still need to test and put it through it's paces. But I think it's OK now. I have had that with Kinect and some other issues, all you needed to do is run a power cycle. You do this by holding down the power button for a few seconds, and you will here it do the cycle. Once its done you just power on as normal. I could have saved you all the hassle, but it's done now. :) thanks will have to remember that for future reference

Having to reformat my XB1 oh the joys of machines as it wasn't working properly. Now hopefully I can get things reinstalled and working again.

Good games I've got the Portal ones tricky but fun. Going to play a few holes on my PGA game then play some more of The Longest Journey seeing as I haven't got much of that done yet or at least not as much as I'd have liked due to various distractions
-
That's kind of how I feel about the Longest Journey/Dreamfall series it doesn't have the finest graphics by todays standards but I thought it was beautiful when I first saw it it's a fine point & click adventure As they're working on the third game now they've got 3 parts of it done just books 4 &5 to come. Haven't had a chance to play through Books 1-3 yet but I'm working my way through the first 2 games to remind myself where the story was for when the third game starts so I can then get cracking on third game when I'm done.
