What I like is how the game accurately depicts the amount of lighting at the various times of the year. For example I selected 4 am as my time on the 10th May and you could see the sun coming up as I went to do a couple of laps round Brands Hatch. I then did it again this time selecting 20th December as the date and it was dark as hell as it normally is at that time of year in the UK and had my headlights on

yeah I'm better with normal cars and open wheelers than I am with Karts decided to quit that career and atart at Formula Rookie level though will probably will come back and rty the kaqrts again once I've got moer experience with the game. I'll just skip the karts for now and do some practice races until I get a grip on them then try again. Just won my first 2 races in Formula Rookie at Oulton park though so I'm feeling much better now.
-
yeah good idea as the cars and AI are different depending on what you're driving I've noticed as I'm struggling in the karts whereas I had the AI beat in Formula Rookie earlier
-
GFot to asy the Karts are really tough I'm struggling to cope with them but I'mgiving it my best shot 2races and I've got 1 measly point. Starting to think I should have started in the Formula Rookie's
-
Yeah it does had a blast in the Formula Rookie cars and won a couple of races against the slowest AI setting at 10% but I might tweak that up as I was whipping them. As in qualifying I was about 4.5 seconds faster but at least I know I have a level I can retreat too if I find things too hard going if I decide to increase it. Not played the Gulf cars but I'll probably save those until I get to that level in career as I'm thinking I'm ready to start one now

Worth it though :D

Can F1 2015 be close to Project Cars

Have to agree with that haven't got around to doing any races yet but I've just been doing some practice laps round Monza on it and found it great fun. F1 2015 has a lot to live up to if it's going to compete with PCars this year as P Cars has set the bar pretty high. -
took about 3/4 attempts to get a clean lap out of the Formula A cars at Monza but it's good fun so far. Did a few laps in the Formula Rookie car too found those quite easy to drive. Also had some fun with the Pagani Zonda R and the free DLC car the Lykan. Next step have some fun with the AI

got it installing right now then I'll get doing some practice laps and races to get a feel for the game and adjust the AI before starting my first season in career.

got my copy now :D

You don't need a wheel. Controller works just fine but you need to adjust the settings. The standard settings for controllers are not ideal What settings do you suggest? I suggest just running a few practice laps/races in solo mode and just keep tweaking and changing the setting till you find one that suits you really as that's what I'll be doing in a few minutes as I got my copy today as well. Haven't got started or installed it yet though. I did see a vid on the Team VVV channel where Alan I think his name is talks a little about P Cars control systems you might want to give that a look -
||Just had cracker of a race on Grid Autosport racing Spa in reverse managed to do a Webber and overtake someone going through Eau Rouge. Now I really do feel like I'm ready for P Cars :p

you do get some games before we do a lot of the time though it's just on this occasion we're getting the game before you this time. You could always byu it on download through Steam though assuming you're on PC that is.

Got my dispatch e-mail this morning for the game so hopefully I'll be diving into a few races tomorrow on the game
-
well luckily you should be able to play it again though but I'm looking forward to getting started on a few practice laps and races before I get my career underway on it.

Found another good vid of project cars with a bit of a humourous climax https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c_UbCOWmjU

Me! Ordered the Limited Edition physical copy from Game. Cheaper than the standard edition on Steam. Me as well I've ordered the PC version

Yeah only a couple of days to go Been watching quite a few vids of P cars the last couple of days. I can't wait to get my hands on it either.

A couple of vids I've watched recently on P cars to whet some peoples appetites for the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhgveLhjR2k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWNQXP6NQRs

we do but it's not the Community manager's fault it's those working above them that make the decisions.

PC I'm on PC with the majority of my racing games anyway.

yeah putting some practice in this week on my other motor racing games ready for P Cars mostly F1 and Grid Autosport. I know they're not quite full on sim like P Cars but hopefully it'll be enough to help me get tuned in a little quicker. P Cars does have some assists it looks like though so hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to acquaint myself with it. Lol I finished off my F1 2014 career season, and popped in grid autosport as well. Pretty sure Codemasters isn't publishing it anywhere else either, Namco is. I haven't but mostly because I've had other things too do but I'll probably be throwing in a few races on 2010 as well but any practice is good practice I asy besides it's helping me get in the mood to dive in when the disc comes.

well you are a Zombie :p

That's the main reason why the money that would have been spent on it will be headed PCars way instead
