well most PC's can run off a standard HDtv as well as long as you have a High def cable connected to the graphics card that's how I use my PC certainly saves on the desk spaceKRTheIceman said:
They cost too much, better off getting a PC although the price tends to escalate if you don't already have some of the basics like a monitor etc.jordieDAFC said:PS4 inbound........
I'm struggling to hold off buying one.........
I'll go and look at the price, maybe that will deter me.....

While it could work I think having 12 hour races would still be a bit longmikevoltz1 said:I would like to see An AI teammate/Co-Driver for Endurance Races with Pitstops and Driver Changes. 12 hour races. Would be awesome like GT was on PC. You can sim a whole hour and condense the race down to fit your time needs.

I think he could but he needs a decent car with a solid powerplant I just don't think Ferrari is as solid as it once was as they seem to be about the same sort of level they were at before Micheal Schumacher joined imo. Was surprised that Alonso didn't do what Massa did and took the plunge for Williams tbh especially knowing they had Mercedes power this year and are looking for a way back to the topGoldenColt said:I think Fernando is past his prime since 2013. 2012 was the peak of his career in terms of ability, experience, dedication and getting the most out of the car (contrary to popular belief I don't think he or anyone else has ever got "more" out of the car than there is to get out of it, as that's impossible).
I don't like Fernando, but once again: This dude has to win at least that one more WDC, just not right to see him stuck with the two ones for Renault. But I doubt he'll ever get the chance again.

can't sqay for sure but it looks like a slightly higher quality anyway especially the open wheel vid to me it does anywayYellowpinkie said:Cheers I'll have a look

actually I was watching footbsall long before Martin Tyler was even commentating tbf he only started commentating on it when Sky bought it all up and before that it was John Motson who did all that work for the BBC and tbh I preferred Motson's commentary still do tbh. Ithink although Skuy may have better analysts when it comes to commentary BBC and ITV have got it nailed at least on the football side. With F1 Sky have got the best team but I can't say that about football. This is just my opinion though -
yep that's him kind of to me a commentator in the same league as Murray Walker was to F1 a legend he's been commentating on football as long as I can remember anyway certainly in all the years I've watched it.jordieDAFC said:John Motson

Just to answer your question some of the earlier builds didn't while some of the newer ones do. Would be tough to say from for sure depends when they were creating the videos.Yellowpinkie said:Hi all

thanks for your reply. There's more than one build being previewed at the moment then? Do you know who's got the newest one?If I were to guess I'd say the big magazine type ones have as I've been watching the Insidesim racing visd and the copy they seem to hav seems to be of a slightly higher quality than some of the other vids it may just be the way they're filming their review vids I'm not sure check out the vid thread I set up and compare them for yourself if you like as I posted a couple of their vids in there

Had a feeling you might be :p @Loore strikes me as a better racer anyway than a drifter given he's got quite a few F1 achievements on his Steam page. I'm looking forward to playing all the disciplines thoughjustbiglee said:
Tuner is pretty good fun, I'm currently smashing @loore on the drift leaderboardssjsharp2010 said:no love for the Tuner discipline yet I see
I'm guessing @justbiglee will probably vote for tuner though given I read he's a bit of a rally nut :p

well I'll directly be doing a few practice races and laps to get an idea of how the game handles and an idea of the level of AI I want although I think I know the answer to that but when it comes to career mode I'l be opening with the touring carsSVENOS said:I'll directly starting to play online. yeah they are but it doesn't really bother me personally as I don't use cockpit cam I either use T cam if I'm using an open wheeler or Bonnet cam if I'm driving a normal carYellowpinkie said:Assiemodis said:I guess they are working at it now, or some other things for the game like text chat better interiors.sjsharp2010 said:no they don't I think I remember @Loore saying it doesn't the high res texture DLC won't be released until the game itself is released the I believe it'll be available on Steam for those that want it. I know I certainly doI read that the interiors are the finished article :( but good news (hopefullly) about the texture pack :)

I doubt any vacation time will be given till the game itself is out I don't know if they're still working on it as I think @Loore himself has access to it but it's just not widely available yet and won't be until the game itself is releasedAssiemodis said:I guess they are working at it now, or some other things for the game like text chat better interiors.
Game must be finished now and send off for printing on dvd with only 2 weeks before release.
So they are either enjoying a short vacation or working on something else. :D

not necessarily in CM's games :pmikevoltz1 said:Haas Formula 1 team. I know, I know they're not slated to be in there until 2015, but unless you're driving a Mercedes you are 3rd or worse.

mikevoltz1 said:What would be cool if is if your teammate could actually jump in the car and drive/Simulate and do a 12 hr race.yeah it would but with the way the endurance system is I can't really see that working somehow unless they include an accelerate time feature like they've got in the F1 games
I do like what they've done with the Touring car discipline in that it has reverse grids if you win round 1 then you go to the back should make life very interesting in that discipline

good on you :DjordieDAFC said:So, had a women complain about me giving her "attitude" despite me doing everything to try and fix what she was complaining about and tried to be as nice and helpful as i could.
I'm more than happy admit i made a mistake and probably didn't do as well as i should have hence the initial complaint, But i won't accept when somebody makes something completely up to make me look bad.
Then of course the guy that owns the place wasn't happy. But anyway, they got a discount car for the next 3 times they visit so they'll be happy. Maybe that was the plan all along.
Seriously though, been there 3 days and its been rubbish, i heard Asda are going to be recruiting and there's a new restaurant opening up and they will pay me more and hopefully be run a bit better so think by the end of the week i may have a new job....

not that I know of no -
they've confirmed they are doing one but that is all for the moment but my feeling is they want to give Autosport it's moment in the spotlight first before releasing any details on the F1 release besides I doubt they'll be ready to release anything until autosport is out anyway and CM don't usually erlesae details on a game until at the earliest 2 months before release anyway which indicates at least July given it's usually erlesaed at the same time as the Fifa's and PES games the September/October windowThegamer23 said:Hope for a brand new game engine, where the improved physics will be on the top of the "to do" list.
Also a reworked penality (i agree completely with you Anton) system and a more involving SP career should be welcomed.
Ah, and the damage. I've heard that Grid Autosport will feature a new suspension damage system. Hope that we'll see that in F1 2014, would be a massive improvement on the realism side.
Ah guys. Just a question. I've been away from the past generation of Codemasters forums where some of the devs said "We'll do F1 2014".
But i don't think that we've heard anything about possible info's, trailers or even a release date till now. Why this silence? Is the project actually alive?
Maybe they're covering something big, hope for that :)
