the 5/6 teams that are available in the YDT are your base teams to get a drive with a team like Ferrari/Red Bull or whatever you have to start with and prove yourself in career mode by achieving objectives set for you by your team. you can't unlock the big teams by just doing the YDT only the 5/6 base teams which are listed at the bottom of the YDT panel in that modeQuattro7 said:I don't believe this to be correct. You gain medals to unlock teams further up the grid. The base teams stay the same yes.

I wouldn't say that as I'm terrible at Monaco on F1 and I think it's trying to ride the bumps that throw me off. I've only ever won Monaco twice on the F1 games and both times on F1 2012. Road car racing maybe but certainly not open wheelAndi said:Of course, plus streets suit open wheel and v8s/utes since they use a fair few in their respective series.

What do we do now Cap'n? :pCaptainJack said:
Heads Up . . . I pre-ordered at Game UK some weeks ago for £34.99 [Black Edition] and cancelled a couple of days ago. I see that the PC version is now £29.99.scottishwildcat said:Heads up: Game UK have just dropped the price of the Black Edition for Xbox 360 and PS3 by £5 to £34.99. Existing preorders will only be charged the cheaper price, of course.
Pre-ordered on Steam for £26.99 [£29.99 - £3 for owning Grid 2] . . .but will it be the "Black" edition ? . . thing is, the "Black" edition isn't available on Steam for pre-order ?

Always happens to our players though certainly has in recent times anyway -
maybe but generally I don't pay that much attention to detail if it's something that interests me then I'll get itOscar97 said:But 4€ for 3 cars is too much. The good pricing would be less than 1€ per car.

it only has the same teams no matter what difficulty you're on just a tougher benchmark to reachQuattro7 said:This didn't restart the Young Driver Test, just enabled me to re-do the event. I ideally wanted to restarted the whole thing and see which teams I'd unlock on the higher difficulty.

I don't buy DLC often for games but if it's to the standard of DLC I've bought for games like Mass effect for example then I don't mind paying for it. Because the quality of the DLC for that game is as good as the game itself in most cases -

unfortunately they can only pick so many circuits tbf I think they've got a good mix put together for Autosport -
that's understandable but you can sometimes get them slightly cheaper by pre-ordering just thought I'd point that outgloom said:i havent bought it yet, but this is definately a buy for me, i just dont like pre ordering games.

thought you we re going to lose it in Dubai though given your tyres were red raw but nice drivi9ng none the lessI always found that a hard track in Grid 2 fun though but hardSRS13Rastus1701 said:Thnx all are on the highest settings and a couple are filmed with fraps recording @ 60fps as I was getting 100+ in windowed mode :DThats due to the Sapphire 8GB R9 290X I got, can't wait to get the 2nd one as I COULD get 100+ in eyefinity.....

looking forward to racing these babies :D -
agered I generally only cheat in single player and even then during difficult parts of a game but generally I try to avoid it.SRS13Rastus1701 said:+1Cheating was indeed rife in Grid 1 then came ver1.3 and we were free of cheats for a few months, even the Ebay cars from career would get you kicked from an online lobby (if you did a career or Custom race in your ebay car then went to race online in the same class). That was until some dude named Yurasov managed to ruin it far everyone again.....It's one reason I'd prefer dedicated servers as then at least action can be taken like a short term ban for a 1st "offense" up to and including a total ban.Cheaters are only cheating themselves imo, far more fun to learn the game and master it. then at least you KNOW if you're any good.

ny favourite track on the new game is probably Yas Marina closely followed by Hockenheim -
I think Tuner's more of a rally driver type of discipline really given it's all about drifting and time attack I probably could do time attack OK as that's similar to doing a qualifying lap in F1 in a sense but I suck at drifting I just can't seem to hold the car going sideways without spinning out most of the time whenever I've done those events on other games I'll be giving it a go just as I will all the disciplines but I don't expect to be doing a great deal in that disciplinemikevoltz1 said:Wow... Tuner seems to be very popular.. LoL. I would love a Full-on ALMS Series game or Continental Tire Series Game. I love touring cars American, Aussey, and European.

strangely enough I'm not in my opinion the only way England will get past the group stage is to not lose a gsame if England lose even 1 of their group games they're gone me and my brother agree that if England lose even once they're out they can afford 2 draws maybe but they can't afford any losses. -
yeah I agree think we'd gave won many ,more world cups if we had banded together :pAMS97KRR said:Haha yeah.I know this doesn't include the Republic of Ireland, but it'd be cool if all the home nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) made one team. Players like Best, Giggs, Law, Bale and now Ramsey are wasted and never appear at big tournaments despite being top players. It'd be mainly England, but Bale and Ramsey would certainly be in there.

I think @Loore said there are 1 or 2 Open wheel races on street circuits in Autosport but generally they're confined to the proper circuits in the game. I'm the opposite to you then as I find trying to get around a bumpy street track harder than a normal race track as being a bit of a late breaker as I do tend to go on into a barrier in those instances. :p On racetracks that's never a problem to me as I know where to put the car and brake in order to progress up the order and make my moves. On a street especially when it's a track I don't know I find it hardWorkhorse9696 said:Open wheel street races in Grid 1 were my favourite races. They were intense as one mistake could see you wrecking your car into a wall. As I'm not the best at getting the right racing line and braking / accelerating at the right points on circuit I've always done better in street races so that's probably why I prefer them :)

I agree 100% I think it was just time that led to the lower res cockpits I think they could have done better with more time. But like you I think they've tried to do this with as short a turnaround as possible and with everything they've done and put into the game I think they've done a magnificent job I love my puddings and they do say the proof of the pudding is in the eati9ng but I have to say it's certainly looking like a tasty cake :pCheesenium said:
Then, it could be time constrain. I am not a developer of Grid Autosport so how would I know the actual reason behind it?.Personally, I dont thinK Shift 2's cars are as detailed as Grid Autosport, probably because I am spoiled by the insane model quality in Project CARS.Gui1 said:
C'mon dude, look at Shift Unleashed 2. Old gen can handle full detailed interiors.Cheesenium said:lastbreath said:
But it's still only an official camera mod. Cockpit is low-detailed. Why modders can create highly detailed car interior for GTA4, but official developers can't?Loore said:One a bit further back in a more traditional position.
I guess it is either lack of time to fully polish all 80 cockpits or the last gen consoles could not handle high detail cockpit due to low RAM capacity. If there is a next gen release of Autosport, then, low detail cockpits arent acceptable.
Most GTA4 cars are took from other games, such as Forza which the cars from Forza already have detailed cockpit.
Cant you guys just cut them some slack? At least they tried to bring back everything to what Grid 1 was with similar to Grid 1 driving physics, lots of race tracks and about half of the car list are track cars. This game looks way better than Grid 2 was at this moment.

I thought they already didmoogleslam said:They just need to laser scan every circuit, so they're not all completely lifeless.
