EdMa said:"Except maybe" makes you sound a little dodgy tbh :Pmaybe but his actions did start ww2 he deserved to die for that crime alone in my book
same here yes he made some mistakes but we all do . sometimes in sport as in life you make decisions that later on turn out to be the wrong ones but zll you can do is try to make the best of it I'm not a Man u supporter but it's always a sad day when someone dies in my book having experienced death in my family.Ron666 said:Absolutely agree with 123, yeah he was to blame for all the debt and even being a reason behind Ronaldo's transfer plus a handful of other crap but to celebrate his death is beyond words, shameful. And btw, a large majority of the fans are not like them just so you know.

unfortunately my copy of grid doesn't seem to be working properly anyway right now so probably just as well with Autosport on the horizon and I do have other racing games to keep me going in the meantime anyway playing F1 2012 and the Shift games at the moment in anticipation of this great masterpiece. :DRubyRuby said:I've noticed remarks several times here and another forum about GIRD being to hard to drive. For the benefit of new GRID players I would just like to point out that GRID's default driving settings are terrible. It took me some time to get it right when I started in '08, and tuning the settings makes all the difference in the world. I'm not talking about Assists - go to Main Menu > Options > Driving Options > Advanced. There are seven adjustments available and it's purely a matter of trial and error. What works best for you will vary from PC to PC as well as player to player. I have GRID on two PCs and my settings are different on each. Spend some time with it. You won't regret it.

yeah seems llike the ideal racer for me sa well makes me glad I've already put my preorder in just need the game now :DCheesenium said:Looks great, definitely will preorder soon but is the AI good?
I saw another video where the AI seemed to constantly ram the back of the player's car.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIVTzkOfDmk
This video also shows how the career starts and also difficulty options. Grid Autosports seemed like the sequel to Grid that I am waiting for.
Strange, are there Car Upgrades for single players too? It doesnt make sense to have upgrades for cars like SLS GT3 as they are performance regulated cars

I agree I've always liked Renault to but that's probably in part to 2 of my all time favourite drivers being champions with their engines but as you say they can't hide from the fact they have struggled this year and RB are well within their rights to look elsewhere if they think that's the right thing to do. If I was in RB's shoes I'd stick with Renault and stay patient and help resolve them I can understand why RB might not want to though. I don't see them going with building their own engine though as that is a big task and do RB have the personnel in order to do it? We know Ferrari and Mercedes obviously have not too suer about RB though given they're quite small in comparison to the big giants they're locking horns with. Also Ferrari is proof that just because you can build your own engine does not mean you will get success and whatever RB choose I think they will want success out of it.RevolvingPrawn said:I've always liked Renault, but this season has definitely not started well for them. They'll probably get it sorted eventually, but how long it takes them to do it is the thing.Yep, no chance of Merc supplying them engines lol, and neither Ferrari or Honda (at least for 2015) will either. So they're kinda stuck.Another advantage to them making their own engine, they could sell it to other teams too and make some money back from it :)

I think that's the one I've got too I generally stick with Topspin thoughjordieDAFC said:
I have Virtua Tennis 2009, it starts off fun but quickly becomes boring and repetitive. Maybe 4 is better, best go on you tube and watch a reviewmike96 said:Has anyone played a tennis game before? wish I could rive as well as that great driving I could barely keep the thing on the road when I played chasing those AI -

looks like for the third race weekend in a row I'm doing battle with Vettel had a big fight with him in Canada in which I disposed of him in the champions wall as he spun in front of me. Then again in Valencia as I had to reel him in and pass him to take the spot he had and now at Silverstone I'm alongside him on the grid 9/10

Exactly Kazzy I use them for that reason to when I play. Flashbacks do have their uses in CM's games simply because I think of the way the Ego engine works I've found on a lot of CM's games that have used this engine the cars do tend to get somewhat tail happy sometimes and easily spin off. I'm not saying that's the case with all racing games as it depends on the game Shift I find is pretty stable for the most part for example. I'm not saying the games are difficult to handle by any means as they aer good fun and not too difficult to correct if you make a mistake it's just a trait I've noticed with these gamesKazzyMac said:I actually disagree.Yes, Flashbacks can provide rammers with enough cannon fodder to have repeated slams at people - but then, just the same, you - as the unassuming, unwilling victim of a deliberate T-bone at RBR turn 3 (aka chicane), aren't instant-wrecked out of the race for someone else being a turnip. For me? I use them sparingly. Half the time, in fact, I use them when practicing a track, or when I spin the back end of my Mercedes T2 car around and I know I'm going to hit one of the other clean-racing guys in the lobbies I'm in (usually other NWR or DBR members, sometimes CGS). Most times that I bodge a corner up, so long as the car doesn't stop and doesn't start going the wrong way I'll simply back out, get back onto the track and continue on.Of course, first corners are also usually necessitating them, since there's always one person who -doesn't- brake and causes a chain-reaction.... Grid 2's become quite empty online not because of flashbacks, but because the online portion of the game isn't as good as Grid 1. The loan cars are terrible, and usually the most difficult-to-drive cars in the class (Honda NSX and T4 mercedes 722). They simply get frustrated by the poor handling and poor speed of those cars, compared to the Camaros and Mercedes-Benz and Corvettes and Bugattis everyone else commonly uses.GAS has remedied that with all cars available for loan - so the people without their own cars will be able to be competitive. Rammers will always ram, flashbacks or not. I appreciate their presence but seldom use them. That's how it should be. :)

FS7 said:I know it's highly unlikely to happen on consoles, but what I'd really like to see is every track from every F1 season in 1 game.I doubt that's even possible even on PC some tracks will obviously be possible others not
if you have the measurements or track design graphs it's possible they may not be able to cater for every bump or whatever on an old classic track like they can now with modern tracks being they are laser scanned into the game but all that's really needed is the general track layout and measurements and of course permission to use them from the powers that beGui1 said:
How can someone map realistically a track like Pescara or old Monaco?FS7 said:I know it's highly unlikely to happen on consoles, but what I'd really like to see is every track from every F1 season in 1 game.

tbh your making me want to start now haven't started my game yet as I've been busy doing other things it's installed and cleared on my PC so it's ready to go but once I'm finished my F1 and NFS Shift playthrough's i'll give it a goRevolvingPrawn said:
A few other things to make your wait harder:onetwothree said:That. Sounds. Awesome. Can't wait for my copy to arrive. You can go into the media player on the phone and make a custom that plays when you get into a car. There's a side game called Spider Tank where you control a large mechanized spider that has a minigun and rocket launcher mounted on it.If you hear a song playing in say a shop or from someones car, you can use an app called song sneak to find out the song title and artist. You can also hack random songs from people on the street for adding to your own playlist. There's a slowdown time thing called Focus, makes gunfights and cop chases very interesting! You can play chess. You can hack money from random AI's bank accounts, the best places being Mad Mile and The Loop for richer people ;)And there's tons more but you'll find out for yourself!

that's strange because usually for me it's usually the other way round the more I see of a game that interests me the more I want it. That's certainly the case with Autosport at the moment anyway. Looking forward to getting my career under way on that alreadySynGamer said:

not too suer about Lowes being wider looked the same size to me in that last racepigass said:
Also, I believe the Loews Hairpin (T6) is now much wider than it used to bePeteTheDuck said:After watching the practice sessions in Monaco yesterday I noticed a few changes to the circuit which should be included in the new F1 game. Some of the changes have been there for a couple of years now but still haven't been included in previous games. I understand these things are very small and they're very specific, but attention to detail is so important I feel, as it is in F1!If you spot any changes to tracks then maybe members can post up what they find here.MonacoWhen I refer to corner numbers I am referring to them as seen on this track map.
1) T1: There is now a larger inside kerb and there is also now a single bollard just before the apex of that kerb.2) T4-T9: There is new asphalt that has been laid down and that means potentially different grip levels and the asphalt is darker.3) T10 chicane (1st apex (left hander)): There isn't actually a kerb there but there is on the game.4) T10 chicane (2nd apex (right hander)): There is now a yellow sausage kerb on the inside of the main red and white kerb.5) T11 chicane: That barrier where Perez had his crash in 2011 has been moved back further (that happened in 2012) but that wasn't changed for the 2013 game.6) T14 chicane (2nd apex (left hander)): There is no bollard on the apex of the kerb and there is now another yellow sausage kerb on the inside of the red and white kerb.7) Pit exit: This is how much smoother on exit and it doesn't include that little left right kink any more.8) General: This is a really small thing but as it's a street circuit it is important. Some of the paint lines on the track need to be changed as in some areas there are actually a lot but in the game there are none.

yeah I don't know if it's a trait among Germans and (I don't mean to insult them as I'm sure there are some really nice German people out there ) but certainly their sports stars do seem to me to have a sense of arrogance about them Schumacher was the same at least I thought so back when he was winning everything towards the end he eased up a bit but certainly during his golden years he had an arrogance about him I didn't likeSILVERARR0WS said:Actually , to be honest , I'm coming round to Vettel a little bit ( emphasis on little ) this year. He seems to have lost some of the arrogance he had now that he's not winning. Of course , I still think he's arrogant , but if he lost all of that arrogance he seems like a really likable guy.

you should see it in Grid 2 then it's even weirder driving it reversed as you have to for one of the racesOGFedfan said:I'm impressed with what I saw. Looks like I'll be ordering. The Yas Marina racing video had me confused after playing so much F1 2013.
Also, I live approx 60 miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. So glad they included it.

thanks for giving us a little moer detail on what we can expect from the game -
well we did pretty well in the 2002 world cup in Japan if I recall and if it hadn't been for Brazil getting lucky I think we could have won there having said that though I don't think we have the players this time. The players that have played world cyp football are all ageing warhorses now :p and the rest have never even been to one. -
yeah my 3tb drive only cost about £80installed most of my games on it exceprt those I want on my SSDHerby007 said:Guess nobody has an experience with the shield. Shame.Looking to treat myself this summer with finally getting a new case, RAM and Hard Drive. Seems the Hard Drive costs have taken a nose dive. A 3TB hard drive for £72? Mental.Thinking of getting a Micro ATX with good ventilation rather than a Midi and another 4GB of RAM. Micro ATX just because Midis seem very bulky to me these days :/ need to make sure my graphics card will fit though!

indeed as I said in my post they need to recapture the feeling they had when they first started making he game because unless they can get things back to near there the game is going to struggle it started out si promisingly with 2010 but it's petered out since then and they need to get that back if they aer going to save the F1 series I thinkjordieDAFC said:The career mode is pathetic, its so bland.
