yeah great spot for making overtakes I've made many a place up there myself on my older F1 games whenever I've had to play catchup. Besides we have to wait and see what this Azerbaijan track looks like before we criticise it could turn out to be a good trackcouger1981 said:

with general games like shooters it adds to the atmosphere and the story I find the Mass Effect series music quite epic with sports games though the music I find is more distracting though sa I like to hear my engineer or engine and I don't have the best of hearing so having the music off in these games is betterCaptainJack said:
First thing with every game . . off goes the music .sjsharp2010 said:
indeed in general in sports games I usually turn the music off the only exception to this is when I'm playing PES as I like the Champions League and Europa League tunesCaptainJack said:I'm always amused when people want the realism of in-car view and then make it totally unreal by having music and not the engine as the sound source . . .

2 year olds don't generally have credit/debit cards though in fact I don't think I had a bank account till just before I left school plus with online it should be in your records when you signup to buy things at the sight I think mine is anyway.onetwothree said:2-5 days delivery estimate. Also love how it's an R18+ restricted game, so if you're instore and buy it, they'll ask for ID if you look under 18. Online, who cares about asking for date of birth. Could've just sold it to a two-year-old for all they know.

agreed they should wait till they got the thumbs up from the track marshalls before starting the race yeahTommig1995 said:That's kinda whoever is in control of the lights's fault, because they should have known the car was off and made sure the track was clear...

mabuel t's translation During the races could improve, or include better, cranes and track marshals, so removed the cars that remain on the track and thus would not have to disappear suddenly, that that is a bit bad -
translated Vegeta's post
Best regards: I regret having to write in Spanish, but I prefer this to use a translator. My ideas for the F1 2014 may pass through other concepts rather than just for the graphics or gameplay, I propose a new type of game, something like a more complete career mode, where you can start from karting, GP2 and then aspire to F1 according to the previous season, not only do young that famous test pilots, which although good is not real ... maybe something like a race of life to emulate large as Senna or Schumacher, who left in Karting, or current pilots passed before the GP2 and then passed to the F1 ... also have the ability to manage a team of F1, as a manager so they have football games, to develop certain parts of the vehicle ( within the rules), get sponsors according to the results, manage team strategies, contract pilots, mechanics, technicians, etc.. I think it would be interesting to play well, and now with the capabilities of video game machines that is possible, because games like Grid have big part of what I say in addition to countless vehicles, so that no graphics capabilities would have problems. I'm using XBOX 360 and could be developed for this support, even in a couple of records, one manager mode, career mode oto ... besides the F1 game from back in 98, so I've played all (and I own too) ... I hope you like my proposal would be something innovative and yet very attractive .. and please do not discard the current generation of consoles (xbox 360 and ps3) because even Residencial Casa do many users of these and want a F1 2014 codemasters our hands .... thanks for these wonderful games -

still waiting for my Watchdogs copy hopefully should receive it in the next post just had a look at the first few minutes of Wolfenstein got a little bit confused as to what to do at first but I'm slowly getting up to speed tends to happen to me on a new game :p good graphics though I'll give it credit for thatcouger1981 said:I would go Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs, KillzoneJust picked up Watch dogs, haven't had the chance to play it yet.Edit: Loving the hacking options so far in the game :)

Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein, Autosport, Tropico 5.onetwothree said:I've just made some cash. Rank these games in order of which I should get first: Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs, Autosport, Tropico 5.I've had a chance to play Watch Dogs for about 30 mins, and it's awesome! Gunplay feels great, the open world has stuff happening constantly, it's a lot like GTA V only more interactive and with a more realistic feel.Didn't have a chance to play any missions though, my friend wouldn't let me spoil them for him :p The driving felt a bit off, just kinda weird, you get used to it pretty quickly though. Strangely enough, I found myself driving much more realisticlly, like stopping at red lights and only overtaking when there was no oncoming cars. On GTA V I've always been like 'Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!' and crashing constantly. The best thing was finding a motorbike, and whizzing about preventing random street crime. Felt a bit like Batman with his coat billowing out like a cape on the bike and the info and hacks the phone gives you :pWolfenstein is just non-stop Nazi slaughtering badassery. Autosport is hopefully gonna be as good as the original game. Tropico... Top down games where you build things just don't appeal to me. Anything like RTS games just get repetitive and boring within an hour or two. There's not really a whole lot of wiggle room for anyting different to happen.

I think those would be the 2 best ways yeah I agree with that but as I said it is C|M's call in this instance and they have said they will be monitoring this very closely anyway once the game is out so I'm confident given time CM will find an answerPurple44 said:sjsharp2010 said:I think you're underestimating the casual player @RTAnoskills There will always be rammers I'll grant you that but I think the average newbie does want to learn and get better though and IMO I think they should be given the chance otherwise yet again you will be left with just your friends to play with right?
CM have to find a balance here between catering for new players and the experienced alike it's not easy and I know I wouldn't like the job but it's the job they've got.
I think there 2 ways Codemasters could go with Flashbacks, just allow 1 "get out of mistake free card" or just have one beginners playlist host where a few flashbacks are allow. When new players are ready and know the tracks, they can move on to the other playlists with no flashbacks and may find the racing better since there no flashbacks.

just made the Europa League final going up against Dortmund
think I just made Mourinho the unhappy one :p
just completed the clean sweep of FA cup Permier league and Europa league watch out Madrid because now I want your Champions league title :p

having a right royal rumble for the premier League title with Chelsea on PES 2014 at the moment tradimg blows got to the final of the FA cup and the Europa League Quarter finals. interesting season -
no I don't work for them I was just making a point saying they have a tricky job on their hands that is difficult to find a balance for so they have tt try to find a middle ground that suits both sideshola said:

was planning on giving it a go a bit later myself now that I have it on my PCAMS97KRR said:Wolfenstein is really quite good so far. I love the setting and the guns, it's is cool.

yeah it is I like what I've seen from an single player standpoint myself tooit looks like Grid 1's career sprinkled with a few extra assists to help the novice player which is good as I thought Gtid 1's career had an excellent premise just too steep a learning curve which put me off playing it to be honest sometimes. I liked the ideas they put in the game but it was just too harsh from a difficulty standpoint. I think difficulty wise Grid 2 was good but career mode was too short only took me about 5 days to beat will probably -play it again at some stage though because it was fun Autosoprt definitely from a sp standpoint looks like a return to formRubyRuby said:But SP is looking good. Fingers crossed re handling, sneak previews are positive.

Andi said:@sjsharp2010Yeah I didn't get into it this year, I mainly just play grand prix mode and do a 25% race every so often with 2014 mods.I found the AI too aggressive really felt like they were driving touring cars than F1 cars it's supposed to be a precision sport not a bash you off the track sport the earlier F1 games had this right I think with the new tyre mod they put in along with the over aggressive Ai makes it very hard to play Graphics wise it's nice but they need to go back to the 2012 feel at least on the lower levels if they did that and threw a few new ideas to make the career mode feel more complete then maybe and I hope 2014 will be a good game if it's going to be a next gen title then a new lick of paint wouldn't hurt either I don't think.
I would suggest the best way to accomplish this would be to put a Beginner level in below Amateur around the same pace the old Amateur level used to be and work from there and just tweak the other difficulties accordingly as I think Balance wise between levels they have it moer or less right (based on what I remember from the old forums before they shut down) it's the bottom end that needs straightening out
