playing F1 2012 and NFS shift 1 at the moment on a bit of a roll at the moment to having won 10 races yesterday on the games I even managed to beat Monaco again which was great as it's only the second time I've won on that track at least on the CM games won a couple today but not doing quite as well as yesterday but still in good form

doubt it plus I think the quality of the game would suffer I think if I'm totally honest think they should jusrt leave the release dqate where it is unless they wish to skip a season which I doubt they willblackMamba99 said:do you think if they released the game earlier it would bring back the 1.5 million customers they lost over the last 2 years?

I knew that was what you're on about and that's what I meant aswellthe teams can't just test whenever they want to that's why I think it wasn't included in the gameblackMamba99 said:
there was an official mid season test at muggello and other various tyre tests throughout the season im not sure what you mean by restricted, yes I know the teams cant test whenever they want, like I said the start of the career should be a full test, not a ydt as that happens through the season. Yes I know there was some unofficial tyre testing in spain by Mercedes but that's not what im on about im on about the official testing that happens before and mid season.sjsharp2010 said:
It was restricted though although yes it did happen I'm not saying that it didn't but it was very restricted and that's why I think CM haven't put it in maybe now that the restrictions have been eased in that department maybe now CM can look at including it. I only said that this may have been one of the resaons why CM haven't included it up until now YDT asideblackMamba99 said:
There was testing last season, in mugello mid season, plus the other tyre tests. so it could have been in the game and i did say have a testing session before the season starts, the first part of the career should be a testing weekend at Bahrain/Jerez. Mis season test at mugello. The test should be realistic, not just testing 1 thing like what you do in career.sjsharp2010 said:
I get the feeling part of the reason the testing during the season was taken out in the C|M games was because real F1 stopped doing it as ide from the pre season test and young drivers test it's only recently been brought back in mostly I think because of the tyre mess we had last year in the sport and the new regulationsblackMamba99 said:the one thing that's really annoyed me is the fact you don't win anything in the game, as far as I can see the only thing you get the chance to open up is the different teams in the young driver test, seriously there is no sense of achievement with any F1 game by codemasters on the xbox or ps. If you win the championship what do you win? the chance to do it all over again its a bit of a joke. What about a bonus track? like a testing track, mugello springs to mind. If you win the WDC and WCC you unlock the track, break Schumachers win records and win his old Ferrari helmet or something like that. I really feel there must be a reward for taking so much time to do 5 whole seasons, especially if you are doing 100%distance long weekends. Talking about testing, why is there no testing involved in the game? its such an integral part of F1, you have a YDT (please don't force us to do it) but why not replace that with a weekend of testing, before the season starts and during the season. And do proper testing, test aero, brakes, suspension, engine mapping, fuel eco, tyre life etc etc. These things were in the game from the last company that had the F1 license and surely can be done especially if the game is on next gen consoles. Remember if you think there's too much data for 1 disc you can always use 2

I agree ban them from next seasons CL is the best way to go under these circumstances and if they continue to break the rules ban them from future competitions.. You need to enforce rules and get tough when necessary like when Juventus was relegated from Serie A for bribing referees. Clubs need to know there will be serious repercussions to breaking the rulesonetwothree said:They're not going to be able to properly enforce FFP if teams know that there really isn't any penalty for breaching those rules. Full expulsion from all competitions, continetal and domestic is the way to go.

you're not the only one I spend a lot of time playing FPS's too mostly games like Doom though but still I enjoy other shooters as well and those players screaming insults is another good reason why I generally stay away from online gaming you always get so9mne idiots online doesn't matterwhat game you play just makesme glad that at least there aer plenty of single player games to keep me goingRevolvingPrawn said:True on most people buying it for multiplayer. I like playing online, but most of them time I'm happiest playing alone and not having to worry about 10 year olds screaming insults down their mic at me cos I killed them 8 times in a row :pJet packs are cool though, I remember playing GTA San Andreas and often putting the jetpack cheat in lol. A mate and I bought it on PC, opened up an empty city and just flew after each other using jetpacks and firing uzi's. Sounds stupid but it had me crying from laughter :)The trouble with FPS games is that there's only so far you can really go with them atm. Still, I do play FPS's more than any other type of game for some reason lol. I'm seriously dying for Watch Dogs atm, seems like a game with a difference, kinda like GTA only with more to actually do lol.

Indeed if Titanfall had single player campaigns on it I'd have considered getting it as it is a good looking game I'm just not into MMO's really. At least COD games do have single player campaigns so is certainly an option for me.AMS97KRR said:I guess it is somewhat of a compliment to be compared to Titanfall.Oh look - someone disagreed with my comment and gave no explanation as to why. yeah Ghosts does look good I'm not saying that but it doesn't really look to have as big a step forward that you'd expect from a next gen game this one does at least to me it does

again as with F1 and Grid I use keyboard -
keyboard I race all my games on keyboard because with my disability I find it easiest -
yeah you've got to give him credit for consistency needs a better car though to prove anything more than that though at least a crack at a Sauber or Force India before he can really be judged in that departmentaRevolvingPrawn said:M4X Chilton: World champion in the making Luke. yeah it does I like the look of this one though it looks like some really nice graphics I didn't think that ghosts looked any more impressive than the pervious games really so didn't get that this one I'm tempted by thoughcouger1981 said:

Doubt they will most of the games they make are pretty casual not that it bothers me too much as I generally prefer them that wayRon666 said:

I think CM are due one as well given they had a dodgy run last year with Grid 2 and F1 2013 I enjoy both games but nowhere near as much as others they have done. It sounds to me though that Grid Autosport is including everything I like about that style of racing so for now I'm standing by it too. Grid 1 had some great ideas in it the only thing lacking was it was tootricky for the casual player to get to grips with sounds like they've corrected that with the game too with the new added asissts so for me I'm happy.CaptainJack said:

i have sweared i dont want to buy blind next codies racing game after this little grid 2 dissapointment....but it all sounds so good that
they will make it better. i will trust in codemasters one more time.
i am looking forward for the release and preorder the black edition ...:-)
Loore, and members of the team have really put themselves on the line with this one so failure is not an option.
But failure is still possible online. :(
Keep seeing it happen year after year to online racing games. :(
Read all which Loore has written, he is a manager at CM, an employee of CM, and has put all of his credibility on the line.
He's promised that we will be getting enough of what we want to be happy - things like text chat and spectate I'm sure will come in time - and as someone "in the know", and risking all of his credibility, I decided to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people's champion, so to speak, and show my support for what he is doing by pre-ordering the game.
I have noticed that MrBigLee seems to be keeping his head down behind the parapet although at this time it would be nice to have a bit of solidarity.
When a man puts his whole status on the line it has to be respected, even if only for not taking the safe option by telling BigLee to shove over, lol . . .

That's never gonna happen, I'm afraid. The teams have way too much money invested in their brands and assets to let a game stomp all over them.and22rew said:My updated list for what I want in Career mode A live driver market so drivers switch teams at the end of the seasonAgreed and CM can't do this anyway due to licensing restrictions the only person that's allowed to move teams is the player

MTonly said:I usually play online in Hardcore playlist and like natural/city tracks (like Cote D'Azur, California, Hong Kong, Dubai, Barcelona, Paris — as opposed to sporting tracks like Brands Hatch, Algarve, Indianapolis which are affected by the unfortunately crazy corner-cutting algorithm in GRID2) with a certain limited number of laps to race (as opposed to the Endurance mode that forces user to spend certain time anyway — of course for exception of Liveroutes races that are only possible in the Endurance mode), and I don't like drift as a standalone discipline.
What poll-option does this belong to?drift is part of the tuner discipline

yeah as you said but thrn Grid is bound to be busy right ynoe given you're just about to unleash a new one on the world :Djustbiglee said:
GRID section is pretty busy, OT crowd are always about and the DiRT guys are busy racing.
