  1. Anyone else think the forums have died down since it opened?
yeah the last couple of days have been quieter there was a burst of activity when the forums initially came back and then again when Grid Autosport was announced but it has gone quiet again I don't think everyone's found the new forum's yet but a lot of the regulars are back though now I think but as more details on Autosport are released by CM hopefully that'll encourage some activity. The forum is still in Beta though and has experienced a few minor glitches I've noticed

I see Clarkson has been told he is on his final warning. Anything offensive from him at any time and he will be given the boot
And then Top Gear will move channels, given that Clarkson owns it...
Nah, he sold it to the BBC a few years ago
Still , he might as well own it. I doubt the Beeb would dare to fire him. It would lose them a massive amount of viewers and create bad publicity. The whole thing is BS anyway. F*****g tabloids.
wouldn't discount him they fired Jonathan Ross for what he did granted he's still on TV but he's not on BBC any more

I really want Atletico to win it, but I just know Real Madrid will, which is a shame. It just proves once again, money buys trophies.

Mind you, I'd rather see Real Madrid win it than Chelsea or Man City.
Hah, i wouldn't bet on it. Athletico have already beaten Real 1-0 at the Bernabeu and drawn 2-2 at the Vincente Calderon, and are sitting top of La Liga. This could be the first La Liga in 18 years for them and the first time in god knows how long to win the double over Real.

That said i think Real are overdue a Champions League and will want to make sure Athletico do not do the double and they do it instead if not the triple...

neither would I think it'll be a closely fought match

  4. @fIsince08 its said to be released late 2014 or 2015

@sjsharp2010 Played it again last night but need to be apart of groups to continue the story so i created a new storyline playing us a smuggler :)
yeah I think that's what I was playing as in my first go

  5. I got to the stage where you need a group to help you pass some missions but i was the only one around on some moon base so i gave up.
yeah I bought it mostly because I didn't have an MMO and I don't really play MMO's much if at all really just for something different but thought if I did I'd probably play this one as it looked like a Mass effect type story and being a fan of that and having seen all the movies and also owning Kotor 1 and 2 I thought lets try it I mostly focused on the computer type missions where your playing against AI didn't get very far with it but I've been thinking of giving it another go.

The death of Ayrton Senna is my first memory of Formula One. That saddens me.

Although it wasn't my first memory I hadn't been watching F1 long before it happened because that wsa when I started to get into it remember watching live on TV as it happened too.

I don't think Ratzenberger's death got overshadowed. Well, at first, yeah. But to put it bluntly, we have loads of people who point out every year how we must remember Ratzenberger as well. We wouldn't have had that if Senna didn't die that weekend as well. Ratzenberger would have been a forgotten man by now. Do we remember who died before him? Not in the same manner.

So as a whole, I think Senna's death probably made sure Ratzenberger will at least never be forgotten, which to me is one of the greatest honors you can have, if not the greatest.

I think it's more down to the fact that Senna was a 3 time champion of the sport as far as I can remember Ratzenberger didn't win anything. I know that doesn't make it easier on his family and friends at the time but it's an unfortunate truth

  7. the one thing that's really annoyed me is the fact you don't win anything in the game, as far as I can see the only thing you get the chance to open up is the different teams in the young driver test, seriously there is no sense of achievement with any F1 game by codemasters on the xbox or ps. If you win the championship what do you win? the chance to do it all over again its a bit of a joke. What about a bonus track? like a testing track, mugello springs to mind. If you win the WDC and WCC you unlock the track, break Schumachers win records and win his old Ferrari helmet or something like that. I really feel there must be a reward for taking so much time to do 5 whole seasons, especially if you are doing 100%distance long weekends. Talking about testing, why is there no testing involved in the game? its such an integral part of F1, you have a YDT (please don't force us to do it) but why not replace that with a weekend of testing, before the season starts and during the season. And do proper testing, test aero, brakes, suspension, engine mapping, fuel eco, tyre life etc etc. These things were in the game from the last company that had the F1 license and surely can be done especially if the game is on next gen consoles. Remember if you think there's too much data for 1 disc you can always use 2

    :-B
I get the feeling part of the reason the testing during the season was taken out in the C|M games was because real F1 stopped doing it as ide from the pre season test and young drivers test it's only recently been brought back in mostly I think because of the tyre mess we had last year in the sport and the new regulations

    Wot? No drift??????

Awwww well it gets my vote even if it aint listed here......
drift is part of the tuner discipline I believe
    That's correct :)

    @Joethe155

Yes, you can drive Open Wheel around city tracks :)

I'd imagine it's quite a challenge given Openwheel cars aren't normally suited to street tracks though not that I'm complaining I think I'd enjoy it

same here I've tried using cockpit view in racing games before and can't see enough of the track when I do the only time if and when I do use cockpit is generally only in replays. I like to see a fair distance ahead as it helps me plan my moves.
