I've had a look but couldn't find any answers, but I probably know the answer, any news of VR support for F1 2016?

After playing Assetto Corsa with VR it's hard to go back to a fixed screen for racing games, or driving games. Even the poor implementation in ETS2 is better than a screen.

Not as far as I know I haven't seen any although I've not been looking for VR stuff. Although personally I'm looking forward to this career mode even more so now after seeing Aarava's vids on it.
This career mode looks the best of the ones they've ever released. I'm genuinely so hyped for it, haven't been this excited since 2010 - and that was the first game since 2006 for me :p

I like the fact you can choose your team mate, I like the look of the RnD stuff, the helmet and number customisation look great - it all looks really good. My only hope now is that they have made good AI, and that the difficulties are closer together (In 2012 they were 4 seconds a part :/). Oh, and that the SC is more common, I always love a SC.

And it's less than a month away :D

Well they have added an extra difficulty level this year above Legend which is called Ultimate so we'll have to see how that plays out. Although I personally won't be playing at that level I think it could be good for those that like a more hard core feel to their races. I'm like you I'm pretty hyped up for it as well can't wait to get my hands on it. It's starting to look like this could be CM best ever F1 game to date perhaps even superceding 2010 assuming they can successfully deliver on what they've promised.

TBH I liked 2012's AI in fact I like racing against the AI in that game more than any of the games so if the AI is similar to how the 2012 one is I'll be very happy. But yeah I heard there was a bit of a big split between some of the difficulty levels. But as long as they don't do a 2013 and end up just closing them up and making the easier difficulties too hard for those that like them the way they are I don't think it'll be too bad. Judging by the fact that they've added an extra difficulty setting I don't think they'll make that mistake again because to me this is what CM should have done originally add to  the gam not take away from it because if you take the easy levels too far out of people's comfort zones you lose the pick up and play accessibility of the game. One of the things I like most about CM's racing games is that they do have a good pick up and play accessibility to them.

What they really need is a slider, like in project cars. That way I can pretty much choose what time the fastest car can hit and I can make it realistic to where my car is in the order. I have too many races where I'm either much faster and win or too slow and end up with a train all race.

I liked 2012s AI, I like the realism mods AI even better though, they're so good, they actually fight for position hardcore.
Yeah I agree a slider would be betterbut even though CM don't have them in their games I don't think CM do too badly with the difficulty settings though as they aer pretty evenly split I think based on my observations. What they ne3ed to do they have been doing though I think for the most part and when they have made mistakes such as the large gaps between the settings of 2012 and over aggressiveness of 2013 they have at least attempted to correct it. It's just that for 2012 going into 2013 they chose the wrong way to attempt to correct it because they should have added the extra difficulty setting then not play around with the existing settings and screwed up the easier settings which is ultimately what did happen and caused even more problems.
I've always been one of those unfortunate people that was a little off of Legend (2011 legend anyway) but too fast for the difficulty below that - with assists off anyway. A slider would be perfect or just more difficulties that are around a second a part, but that would be easier with a slider IMO. Hopefully something in 2016 suits me, I've been practising in 2012 as I've not played one of the F1 games since 2013, I'm a little rusty in terms of pace atm :p

Yeah I've not done much on the F1 games until recently myself either but I've picked them up again recently as I want to get some practice in before 2016 comes out. I have got 2015 but I've only done 3 seasons on it to be fair but without a career mode with progression I've just found it a bit boring so haven't played it that much. I do like it and it is a fun racer but the game just feels a bit empty to me  without the career mode. I do have a 2015 season on the go atm where I'm racing as Max Verstappen but I'm not that far into it yet as I've only done the first 4 races or so. I've also recently started a new career on 2012 only half way through my first season on that one. I've also been continuing my career mode on 2014 that I had on the go since I bought that game but I've finally got onto my 3rd season on that one The ironic thing is though I've somehow ended up in the Torro Rosso in all 3 games atm. Still I'm enjoying it. On the older games my pace is somewhere between Amateur and Intermediate depending on the track of course I tend to be fast enough to occasionally blitz the Amateur AI but I do tend to get swamped by the Intermediate one so I know what you mean. I tend to race mostly on Amateur but every now and then if I feel in need of a bigger challenge I will stil go up to Intermediate

May has to write the letter in her own hand, giving detailed instructions about what the UK’s response should be in the event of a pre-emptive nuclear attack. The letter will, under the relevant circumstances, be opened by the commander of the Trident submarine, who would have to assume that the prime minister was no longer in a position to take live command of the situation.

The options are said to include the orders “Put yourself under the command of the US, if it is still there”; “Go to Australia”; “Retaliate”; or “Use your own judgment”.

    Aw, thanks guys. :')
I don't understand why they would even do this, If the UK has been wiped out by nukes, I'd just unleash my entire arsenal on the person who did it. I mean that is literally the point of having them.

I think it's the fact that in the event of a disaster and action needs to be taken kind of scenario and seeing as the prime minister is effectively our leader in these circumstances it's down to them. I'm just glad it's not my job.
No I meant the lines I highlighted :p

Why would we give the option of putting our nukes under the control of a foreign power if we are wiped out?
Because those particular countries in question are our military allies I'd assume. We get on more with the US than we do anyone I think for example. If something like that would or should hapopen it's likely we'd end up having to join forces to bring the """" down on who did it

It's mostly a detterent I think to convince those that might want to use theirs against us in that we can retaliate in kind if neccessary

It's lovely, but then I do have a nice air conditioned room to come back to. Even though I do overheat easily due to my meds, the dry hot weather does help my condition a lot. Outside its 30c, inside a nice 20c, wonder what Martin and Dan have to say now about my air conditioning  :D

Plays havoc with me though me and hot weather don't exactly mix. Fortunately my bedroom's pretty cool anyway. It's not air conditioned but with the blinds and curtains closed it's a bit more tolerable than other areas of the house.

I'm playing F1 15 using my wheel for the first time in ages, it feels really good. I'm not sure if they made some improvements to the FFB  since I last played, but I feel every bump and what my car is doing, before it felt really vague. Can't wait for 16, seems like a total overhaul.

yeah have to admit looking forward to F1 2016 as well pre-ordered it from Shopto already. Been playing some of the old F1 games and 2015 these past few days myself. Not playing any games atm but that's because I'm installing one and I'm waiting for the DLC's to download just Origin being it's slow self again. Problem is you can't have a game running while you wait for Origin to do it's thing like you can with Steam which is a pain.

Definitely going to get a Micro NES, I still have the original at my parents, but my dad broke it as he left it outside while sorting stuff. Was not happy with him as it was worth a lot. The reason I still have it even though it doesn't work is to use the case and build a micro PC inside it one day.

yeah have to admit I'm tempted by it myself My brother had the SNES but I never had any of that stuff as I did most of my gaming on proper computer systems like the Amstrad or Amiga. I've always thought Mario Bros was  a colourful fun game though

Managed to get to a restore point. 2 issues though, lost my Minecraft save and also the software to control my keyboard and mouse leds and stuff won't work. I tried reinstalling it but still it won't open. I only wanted to install a shader for Minecraft for God sake, always thought mods were easy to install for it, yet somehow I messed up my PC lol.

yeah mods can be tricky SOB's had a few issues with some myself.

Breaking news - stupid people exist.

They'd end up killing themselves through texting or other use of their mobile phone if Pokemon Go hadn't been released.

think I noticed 1 or 2 inhabiting the F1 forum lately too. :p
    Only 1 or 2?

I'm tempted to try and develop an app named "Save Stupid People GO" where it tracks people who are playing Pokemon GO and you follow them around waiting for them to do something stupid. Then you jump in and save their life just before they're obliterated by a bus after crossing the street and not looking because they're chasing a Puffy Wuffy thing.

well (I don't want to write this whole forum off now do I :p I'd like to think at least some of it is salvageable.

I only have games and music on my PC. 256GB SSD for Windows and games if needed, 256GB SSD just for games and now a 500GB SSD for games.

Its amazing how much quieter a PC is without a mechanical drive, I'll never have one in my again. The best bit was taking out the HDD drive cage, so better airflow.

yeah it's OK if you don't need the space I suppose then yeah go for speed. I do have an SSD in mine which definitely improves the speed. I tend to use it for Windows and the newer more demanding games. The older less demanding stuff gets shoved on the HDD along with any files I don't access much. The only modern stuff I keep on the HDD are things like mods for games like Dragon Age and all that. but yeah it's certainly quieter and faster running things that way.

So, thoughts after the latest news on F1 2016?
    What news is that @mike96?
    http://blog.codemasters.com/f1/07/f1-2016-new-features-trailer/

A 22 player-online grid, manual starts and formation lap as well!
Well, it's only taken them 8 years to add the features we've been asking for since they announced they had the license.

It does sound like it's shaping up to be the best since 2010 though.

Yeah I agree @RevolvingPrawn I do hope they put options in to turn some of these things off or allow us to go back to the way things were because todays announcement leaves me a bit wary that we might end up with another F1 2013 situation on our hands where some people will end up complaining it's too hard and as I recall that's what happened with 2013 when they tried to go too far down the sim route then because it completely ruined the easier difficulties of the game. Also everyone around here might remember it lead to the forum being shut down. I think the ideas are good. I'm just worried about us little guys who just like to just drive around on Amateur difficulty and things like that as I wouldn't want to see CM repeat those mistakes. Especially after what they've promised sounds like one of the best racing games I've ever heard of.

Well, considering that I play F1 2015 on Legend AI and the only assist I use now is ABS, I'm not worried about it being difficult :p

I'm saying that even back in 2008 there was people asking for formation laps, full grids for multiplayer, manual starts, manual pit lane entry, etc etc. It's taken CM only 8 games to add in those features.

well fortunately Jenny confirmed that it can be turned off or skipped  for those that prefer the way the game handles now anyway so I'm pleased about that. It just depends on what options you prefer. So it can be put back to Auto if people prefer that the manual stuff is all optional. So al good as far as I'm concerned
