Agreed I haven't been this fired up for an F1 game either for quite a while at least 2 or 3 years anyway. Certainly not since 2012 came out anyway. -
Agreed as I think McLaren are starting to find their feet again they're certainly more competitive this year than last and I think that'll only improve given that both Button and Alonso know how to win given they both are former champs. Granted they're coming towards the end of their careers but still they know how to drive and drive fast. I don't think they'd ever lose that. Because I think that both Button and Alonso will both know when they've left their peak and can't push themselves to that level anymore. Also what with Button's fitness regime he has there's a good chance he may be able to extend himself for a few more years yet. It's just a question of whether he wants to.GoldenColt said:
I wouldn't be so quick writing McLaren off for 2017. Just a gut-feeling.VetteIfan said:There were some mild rumours last week that Rosberg had been in talks with Ferrari, but it's a nothing story really. Seems like most of you guys have already sacked Massa, I think he'll stay on because Williams won't build up the courage to do so. Even though they'll know there are better options out there.
The biggest story is going to be McLaren. There's no way they can leave Vandoorne on the sidelines another year without expecting him to join another team. Therefore I think it will be Button's final year.
Oh, and Alonso's never going to win another race again. In fact he'll be lucky to make it to the podium. I'm afraid that's the reality as far as Fernando is concerned.
Agree with the rest, Nico and Massa are going to stay. Kimi will stay at Ferrari for another year aswell.

I'm kinda getting an F1 2010 feel.
So am I. I'm kind of glad they're going back to the beginning again though because for me there was very little wrong with F1 2010. The career mode there is fantastic and it's probably the one I enjoy playing most even today of the F1 games. I do like 2012 as well but that's because I like the AI in that game not so much the career mode itself because even though I play on easy mode it was an interesting challenge. Don't see a release date for it yet on that page but I have to say I am pumped up for it. Need to start thinking about getting some racing in on my other F1 games I think I've come all over into a racy mood. I saw the pic of the Haas motorhome that looked pretty impressive as well. -
yeah just done it with mine had to open it up anyway to replace one of my disk drives as one of them had stopped working fortunately they're fairly cheap so not really a problem although money for me is a little tight atm. But unfortunatyely it needed to be done. Thankfully now that I've replaced it everything's fine now.RevolvingPrawn said:
Yea, stripping and rebuilding can be a bit of a pain, no doubt on that. Every now and then it's gotta be done though, even if just for cleaning purposes. Gonna have to do that with mine sometime this year but I'll keep putting it off lol.Platy said:I'll look a bit more at cases, but as I said nothing really caught my eye. All I've seen is that proper career mode is back, and so is the safety car. Other than that I've no idea. I'm still gonna be buying it whenever it comes out though, it's F1 right? :pLukedfrt said:Anything going on with F1 2016? I'm sure the last one came out in June.. but i ain't seen nothing about this years.
yeah other than career mode and the safety car are back that's all they've revealed so far they have said career is going to be more immersive than the last few games too but other than that that's all they've said really. I'd like to know more myself but I'm pretty sure an announcement is imminent but when we get it is another question. Only time will tell. -

yeah he was a good community manager being dumped in the middle of the F1 2015 mess didn't really help him though not surprised he chose to up sticks after that. All the CM's that have been lumbered with that job don't seem to last long. Got to give credit to Jenny though she's done a good job since taking over. Shame some on the F1 forum just aren't more patient. -
have to say the new Technomancer game sounds good.

been enjoying playing my first Qunari in Dragon Age Inquisition been kind of fun playing a Saarebas -
I've not seen the squad but seeing as our chances of winning our practically zilch I don't think it really matters that much.fIsince08 said:Not happy with the England squad, so many players there that don't deserve to be whilst the likes of Defoe, Noble and maybe Andy Carrol miss out.
I'd have gone:
GK: Hart, Forster, Foster
FB: Walker, Bertrand, Rose
CB: Smalling, Stones, Jagielka, Cahill
MF: Dier, Noble, Alli, Drinkwater, Lallana, Milner, Sterling, Towsend, Antonio, Barkley
ST: Vardy, Kane, Defoe

I was talking from an Arsenal-perspective tbh mate. Would assume that quite a lot of Spurs-fans are quite annoyed at being overtaken by Arsenal at the final day of the season after the season they've had.sjsharp2010 said:Jiggy said:It's kind of funny how Spurs fucked it up. Really funny tbh. Doesn't wash away the embarrassment that is this season, but it's funny.
tbh I don' t consider finishing 3rd an embarrassment though getting relegated yes not finishing 3rd.
true but I think that's moer down to us slipping up on the last day moer than anything because had we got the draw we needed we'd have stayed there. Also especially given Newcastle's season we'd have expected to get it without too many problems. I consider it a mere bad day at the office really tbh rather than the norm it's just unfortunate from our point of view that it cost us 2nd spot is all. Besides all in all we still achieved our objective of getting into the Champions League either way. So despite the loss to Newcastle we still got what we wanted from the season. -

Imdeed I struggle around Suizuka in car races in my bike games I've got I'm OK around it though. Fuji I've only driven on a couple of old touring car style games not had the chance to race an F1 round it though in any game.Jiggy said:

jordieDAFC said:Is it though? I wouldn't be happy finishing 3rd if I was a Spurs fan. That was your best chance ever to win the league and you blew it....and blew finishing above Arsenal....
I expect Chelsea to be back next season with Conte, God knows what pep will do with City and even United could be back with a few signings.
well this season is a bit of an unusual one to be fair. Granted it probably was but with only one striker in our squad I don't think we were ever going to be much of a goal threat and had we been strong at the end qand won a couple of those games we drew we probably could have taken the fight to Leicester more but that's the way it is. But I'd have taken 2nd/3rd at the start of the season anyway knowing how difficult this league is and counted it a bonus because I don't think anyone expected the Premier League to have the strange season it's just had. To be honest I'm judging things based on where I'd have expected us to finish rather than where we actually did though as I'd have expected 4th-6th and we finished higher than that so I'd say that's good. -
Stlil 3rd is still a good finishing spot but we hada pretty bad run in in the end and that's what's cost us. -

yeah almost like we can't ask for an easier game to secuer 2nd spot given we play Newcastle for our last match and we only need to draw to do it.jordieDAFC said:Because Everton are probably on par with Aston Villa atm playing wise, couldn't have asked for an easier must win game to secure safety.
Just feel that they wouldn't have got that result against most other teams
Indeed that's why I don't gamble I'm hopeless at it. There's still hope though we can still salvage it because we still have what's left of the second half to come back.

yes there is single player I'd have never touched it if it didn't. It's moer challenging than the older Doom's but it certainly has the atmospherecouger1981 said:

Been playing a bunch of the new Doom tonight, definitely surpassed my expectations! It's the most fun I've had in FPS game in a very very long time. The whole flow of the game, in terms of movement and shooting is extremely well done, to the point that even playing with a controller doesn't feel much less accurate than playing mouse and keyboard. Graphics are great, runs really well, it's only using one of my GPU's and I'm still always over 60FPS with all settings (minus DOF and motion blur) set to Ultra.
It's almost like they took the original Doom, and turned it up to 11.
Some of my screenshots.
