Cutting it a bit fine on the Rise of the tomb raider preload. Whilst the games up to be bought the preload isn't yet and it's supposed to be out in 3 days.
Now as I say that it becomes available for preload as if by magic

Wish we'd get on with it and sign someone. We'er OK pretty much everywhere but we do need a striker. We can't keep hoping Kane will last the whole season without getting injured -
Decided what you're going to spend it on yet? :pHughesy said:Must be my lucky day, just found a £20 note floating next to my car

Finally figured out Golems of Amgarrak DLC for Dragon Age Origins. Tricky mission especially fighting those golems but it was fun. Had that DLC like the game for ages but got through it for the first time a couple of days ago. It was kind of confusing but clever in the end a well designed level. Although they could have made the golems a little easier than that to deal with.
Also almost forgot to mention but for those interested in getting Rise of the Tomb raider for PC it is available to be preordered on Steam now

I was stabbed in the head with a metal pole when I was 9 by a psycho and it didn't kill me, so I'm pretty sure there's just empty space inside my head :joy: Not sure if you guys have seen a local cricket pitch which has rope around the square held by metal poles? Well it was one of them. I actually seen the guy that did it many years later and he was homeless, karma is a bitch as they say.sjsharp2010 said:
Sounds like you almost did that yourself anyway :p But like you I know how that feelsHughesy said:So whilst cleaning my bathroom I had a spasm in my back, which made me headbutt the wall, good job there's not much to damage inside my head :joy: My body is so broken, if I was a dog I'd be put to sleep by now...
Sounds like he got what he deserved then in the end. -

Indeed they've been on borrowed time for a while getting worse and worse. -
Benn playing Final Fantasy 13 on PC got to asy I really like using the Eidolons. Really cool game had it on the PS3 but haddifficulty adjusting to the controls due to my disability so didn't get very far on that one. But I've made it quite far on the PC version at the start of Chapter 11 now -

Indeed does need sorting but there are a few things CM need to sort out. -
ffigueir said:Geoff Crammonds GP4 has the best AI I've ever seen in the gaming world. Wondering where people who programmed that game are, CM should definitely hire them!
Possibly retired now given that was quite a few years ago. -
Yeah I'm looking forward to a lot of those too especially Star Trek and the new Mass EffectRevolvingPrawn said:Happy new year guys :)
Just thinking of movies to look forward to this year, so far I've got Deadpool, Captain America Civil War, Star Wars Rogue One, Doctor Strange, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, Star Trek Beyond, Independence Day 2, and Zoolander 2.
Then of course there's some games, Hitman, Mirrors Edge 2, Deus Ex MD, Dishonored 2, Doom, Mafia 3, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3.
Now I just hope I keep my job past the end of March so I can actually afford to enjoy all that stuff above :p Oh and Hamilton's 4th WDC should be pretty good too ;)

Hughesy said:Don't know why people in the UK associate snow with Christmas, it's either really cold or like today really wet and windy, but rarely snows. Feel sorry for people in Cumbria, 3rd time they have been flooded in a short space of time.
yeah I don't normally get snow in December either. January is normally when the snow strikes where I live assuming we get any. That cold snap we had acouple of years ago we had snow in December but that's the only time in recent years that I remember it happening. -
Wynterdust said:Quite looking forward to an MMO called Black Desert. One of the best looking MMO's I've seen.
yeah I've heard of thatsome people have been talking about it on the Bioware forums -
Well the plan for me atm is to go to my brother's for Christmas dinner at some point later in the day other than that it's going to be a quiet Christmas. But then since my Grandparents died it's kind of gotten that way in the last few years. Almost like a normal day of the week really -

Sad news, but it means she's back on the market for us! Good luck boys!
indeed nothing seems to be going right for him atm. Definitely 2015 has turned into a year for him to forget. -
Hughesy said:I have far too many games on the go at the moment, so unless something really good goes on sale I won't be buying any.
@RevolvingPrawn Imagine if Kerbal had co-op. What time are you planning on playing Ark tonight?
Same here really plus what with 2 games coming out in January that have peaked my interest I think I'll be holding off for now too. -
Hughesy said:After doing nothing all day and no games holding my attention I've decided to play Kerbal for the first time in ages. I've realised I can't remember how to do anything as I have the memory of a fish, so it should be fun trying to re-learn it all.
Thank god for Scott Manley, his noob guides for Kerbal are so good.
Edit: Just noticed it's nearly 11pm and I've been playing Kerbal since about 4:30pm :joy: When playing this or Football Manager time just seems to fly without knowing. :flushed:
Yeah that happens to me a lot when playing ME or DA as well I get so into it that before I know it it's getting later and later. -
sounds a lot like my life. Kind of why I'm glad that games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age exist. As they succeed in keeping me busy.Hughesy said:So bored, a week of doing nothing.

Honour it is then.

PS I don't hate Star Wars, it's just not a film I get excited about. I have watched them all, the old ones were much better than the films in the 90s ;)
Yeah same I don't hate Star wars either in fact I do like it being a sci fi buff it's just not one of my favourites. In fact I own some Star wars games on my PC like Kotor it's just not a series I get overly excited about -
Hughesy said:Yes! Glad I waiting and didn't buy it from my Xbox.

Yeah have to admit that's earlier than I thought we'd get it. I thought we'd be waiting till at least March. I am happy about this though as everything I've seen about it I do like for the most part. -
Agreed I'm kind of glad I don't live up north either. When it does snow where I live it does make things tricky though given I live up in the hills.Hughesy said:
Glad I don't live up north then, you have no idea how hard it is to walk in snow with crutches when your legs are unsteady at the best of times :joy:fIsince08 said:It's snowing!

my last purchase kind of an early Christmas present to myself was Lightning returns for the PC Final Fantasy 13 game. I've got the FF13's for the PS3 but though t I'd get them for PC as I thought it might be easier for me to manage uswing keyboard and mouse rather than controller. Plus the PC versions come complete with all the DLC's which the PS3 versions don't. Only cost £10 thou8gh so not a bad price considering how good the game looks but then it' s on discount atm until Dec 17th -
