    IGN only given Fifa 7.8

This is the year of PES  :o
Not if you play pes on PC, it's a port of the PS3 version, yet the pictures on Steam are of the PS4 version  :joy:
Surely Konami should get in trouble for this. They are dead to me now anyway, glad they are going to only make mobile games from now on. I'll stick to FIFA 16, as it's a much better package overall, and after playing both demos for a while I feel Fifa is still better, the keepers are crap in PES.

yeah I think they're resting on the fact that they have the UEFA licensing and allthat for the Champions League and Europa League and all . Big mistake if you ask me I know they've just renewed the contract for that for another 3 years. But if they stay on this path they'll lose it back to Fifa. I know EA would like it back if they can get it as they've said so. Also  EA look to be at least trying to find ways to improve the game now by adding women and things like pre-season tournaments into the game which are both in Fifa 16.

I also read that for Fifa 17 they're considering adding the womens equivalent of the Premier League thje Womens Super League(WSL) I believe it's called in real life. Don't know if it'll be called that in the game though.

Still waiting for my FIFA 16 code, not really an issue for me anymore due to having an average download speed of 65mb/s.
yeah mine's already downloaded and ready to go. I'll play a couple of games tonight before I go to bed and that make suer it's working and all. But I doubt I'll be playing it much until I'm finished with my current DAI run. I am near the end so shouldn't take too much longer but it will take at least another 2/3 more days I think. Although I'm almost through the main part of the JoH DLC. I'm at the Temple of Mythal mission next on the main story and I've got a few moer rifts and a few tasks still not done in the main areas. The only areas I'm more or less finished in are the Hinterlands and Crestwood and for the most part the Storm Coast the only things left there I think I have to deal with are the rifts
Hate to burst your bubble, but it's not out until Thursday :p
I know I meant that night

Looks like Button is set to Retire from F1 after this season

I'm hoping he doesn't, he's easily got another 3 years or more left in him.
I still remember when Button started in F1, man how time flies.  :( I'll miss him on the grid, one of the only champions who doesn't seem to have a huge ego...
So do I I remember in one of his first races at Monaco he was looking really good and actually giving Schumi a run for his money dicing and diving to find a way through at the Loews Hairpin on one lap. I knew pretty early on that give him the right car he'd be able to win a championship. But then he always seemed to go pretty well there. But then he does go pretty well on narrow tight twisty tracks which is the exact opposite to me at least in terms of computer games anyway as I tend to struggle on them.

Not sure why anyone is shocked by it, he brings a crap load of oil money with him. It's sad, but F1 has been like this for a long time. Being fast means nothing when it comes to getting a drive in most teams....

He might bring a load of money but the problem is they're spending half of it repairing his car no doubt after every crash he has.

Yeah I agree he's easily got 2/3 more years in him if he wants it same as Alonso really. Especially as they came in around the same time. They're definitely the next 2 drivers to retire  I think but I think they've got a couple more years in the tank if they want it.

  6. Just started the Descent DLC for DAI feels good kicking Darrkspawn butt  again. Got to the first camp and killed an Ogre on the way. Challenging but no more difficult than the standard game missions so far.

Edit: Scratch that just had to fight through massive waves of Darkspawn just to reach the second camp and my team were being bashed and battered all over the place just about made it through though. Had to redo that section too as the 2 ogres I was meant  to kill vanished due to a bug fortunately didn't happen the second time though. @Wynterdust I'd recommend bringing Viv with you for this mission if you're not a KE yourself because that section fighting the darkspawn getting from camp 1 to camp 2 is a bit like running a gauntlet and you may find yourself needing to use a lot of revival/resurgence type spells to keep everyone going.

Coming up to that soon. Had a few days away from it but back on it today so shall see how it goes. Hm, I'll keep that in mind though really not a fan of Viv. I've got quite a good thing going as a Tempest archer alongside Sera with Solas providing plenty of barriers and I've got Blackwall setup to the point he barely loses any health from anything. I'll see how that goes and if I fail horrifically I'll bite and bring Viv instead. Though one snide bit of banter from her and she'll be sent packing!

Fortunately being a KE myself  I can do Viv's job so I don't have that problem in my current playthrough but then I've never used Viv that much on the game anyway. I used her more on my last playthrough though as I was playing as a rogue rather than a mage as I wanted to do something different in that playthrough. So always had 1 of the 3 mages with me. Mostly only  brought her along for the dragon hunts as I felt her skills would best suit slaying them. I was a tempest dual-wielder in that one though using dual bladed daggers for extra damage as I found dual bladed weapons better for my style of attack. Yeah the fights aer quite hard on the Descent DLC but it's still fun you just need to be careful as to how you approach it. Ranged fighters are good for the final boss fight though as the final boss literally took my warriors Cassandra and Iron Bull out before they even knew what was happening. Leaving just me and Varric and I just pretty much kept casting Barrier and throwing everything I had at it from a distance

  7. Completed the Descent DLC now. Good fun not quite as much fun as JoH but still good. I kind of find it a mix between the Leviathan and Omega DLC's from ME3 really is probably the best way to describe it. Because like Leviathan you're looking for something but it's also a lot like Omega in that it's pretty linear with not many areas in which you can deviate. Have to say I love the nug king section which I only just uncovered. I will asy the combat is hard though in this DLC and either requires good planning or a lot of good luck When it comes to the final boss though you need plenty of ranged fighters really.

  9. Anyway mine's already almost halfway downloaded but yeah I agree @Hughesy it is a bit ridiculous fortunately in my case I haven't spent that much money of late on stuff so I could afford it. I've not bough that many games lately in fact the only things I've bought recently are the DLC's for DAI

  10. no neither am I yet I'm at lvl 16 atm so haven't touched them yet. Just finished the Halamshiral mission in fact so I don't think it'll be too much longer before I sink my teeth into them. I have played JOH though as I said as I did it in my last run of the game. I know JoH is a minimum lvl 20 and tricky to start off with too. Caught me off guard with how tough the enemies were to begin with on my first run through that because compared to the main areas they are a little tougher. Descent I heard scales to whatever level you're at apparently so I've heard so based on that you can do it anytime after you reach Skyhold. I haven't tested that though but I'm holding off until I hit lvl 20 same as JoH.

JOH is basically a Hinterlands style area. It's mostly an area with more fade rifts to close and moer loot for you to collect plus some new and higher spec armour as the DLC's have tier 4 armours whereas the main game only went up to tier 3. It does have an interesting story about the last Inquisitor though.

You're right about Descent though that's the dungeon crawler as that one takes place in the Deep roads with everyone's favourite DA enemy the darkspawn.

Trespasser as well as wrapping up the main story, has you going up against Iron Bull's people the Qunari apparently though you may need to be careful about how you handle Bull  in this because he can betray you in Trespasser if you haven't made certain decisions that's one thing I have learnt about the DLC.

Yeah I've tried to stay away from the forums too at least until I've been through them at least once. But I've seen a couple of vids online as just a curious look to basically give myself an idea what they were about. After all I didn't want  to end up buying something I don't like but tbf I've mostly found Bioware's DLC's worthy of purchasing. Especially as my favourite level from ME2 was a DLC one and that was Lair of the Shadow Broker where you help Liara take the Shadow Broker down

That's the next thing for me to do. Favourite quest in the game, always look forward to that one. I'll probably give Descent a go when I'm next on it then to see if it scales down then. Break up doing them all at once a bit.
Yeah I heard JoH was a bit like that. To be honest I don't mind that since it'll be the first time playing it. Though Hinterlands has got a bit dull for me now having done it several times on different characters. Will have to use the golden nug after doing the DLC's just to make sure I get all the stuff for future playthroughs. Probably the best thing they've added since release.
Great, I do like stuff like that though, at least some choices will actually result in something happening one or another. Was my one gripe with the whole game was a lot of choices didn't really have any consequences.
True, the ones from ME2 and 3 were all great, can't think of a bad one from either of those games.

Yeah I'm level 18 now and just unlocked Emprise de Lion so I'm not too far away from getting to starting the DLC's slayed the Gamordan Stormrider almost solo earlier was quite pleased with that, as it had knocked all my team out. So for a large part of the fight I had to take him on my own. Wasn't originally planning to take him on as I didn't have my usual dragon slaying team with me. I went into the area mainly for Viv's snowy Wyvern that she wants. Decided to give the dragon a go to get myself more dragon materials really as I'd just used a lot to build a new armour and staff for my character. Yeah the golden Nug and wardrobe in Skyhold is a nice touch so we don't have to wear the beige uniform anymore either. The golden nug especially as I found a useful ring that allows my character to use stealth quite early in my current playthrough in the Hinterlands. Which combined with my spirit blade and KE abilities has really turned my mage into a real killing machine.

Edit BTW forgot to mention this earlier but you do get a new power from your mark in the JoH DLC which is quite handy called Aegis of the rift. It's basically a shield that you can put around yourself for a few seconds which deflects all incoming fire. Useful as I said but it only lasts a few seconds and it does have a longer cooldown period than most of your other powers so you will need to be careful as to when you employ it if you decide to get and use it. You'll find it on the island but it is part of the main quest in that region so shouldn't be too hard to find. The power is  added to the Inquisitor tree. I only tend to use it to protect me while I revive any fallen teammates. Just thought I'd let you know as it is a useful power especially for when you have to deal with the tougher enemies like the dragons as it deflects all their firepower back at them if they aim at you while in it.

  11. It's pretty handy against the dragons being able to keep a constant barrier up. Have a warrior tanking alongside you and Varric and Sera spamming leaping shot either side of it and the poor lizards won't know what hit them! They're probably the only class that could solo them but with the latest patches I wouldn't be surprised if it's no longer possible.

I've not yet. I bought them all but I was waiting for them all to release before starting a new playthrough and doing them all. I'm still only about a third of the way through so not high enough to start them yet. I hear Trespasser is the best one in terms of story content and as you say, it's supposed to conclude this game. The other two I hear are more like dungeon crawlers like the maps we can go to between story quests. I've tried to keep away from their forum to avoid spoilers but I did know about that one before. Think they buckled under all the requests! Not sure how mine will go, still not even decided on most things on this playthrough.
I will say though that in that Trespasser DLC trailer though Alix does some really good VA work as the Inquisitor. If I had been through what the Inquisitor had been I'd have probably felt the same way.

Yet another reason not to get PES 2016 on PC, it's a port of the PS3 version and not based on ps4 version. Konami are a joke! It was the same last year, and they said this year it wouldn't be the same, but it is.... I'm glad after Phantom Pain I won't be putting any more money in the pockets for them, shoddy practices, treating staff like robots and shoddy ports...

Seen some PES reviews... Could be the year to dethrone Fifa
From the two demos PES is much better than FIFA. Problem is the modes will be crap. Not having licenses isn't the end of the world, but they should add as many leagues as FIFA just without official names. That's why I'm probably still going to get Fifa over it, but I might get PES when it's cheap.
yeah what PES does it does really well but it does somewhat fall short on content and that's what let's  it down unfortunately. I do like what I've seen from both though. But for me atm I'd still give my vote to Fifa.

  15. Have to say playing DAI as a knight enchanter is good fun anyone who attempts to get in my face has been getting my spirit blade in theirs. Damn that's one powerful ability.
And that's after they heavily nerfed it in the last few patches as well. It used to be even more powerful! Still one of the classes that's most fun to play though.

yeah it's the only mage specialization I'd not used until now. I think I still prefer the rift mage spec though but I have to admit I've been making pretty short work of the High dragons with KE. Only ended up needing about 3 or 4 health potions per fight against them so far at least that's against the lowest 3 dragons. Usually I end up needing to use the lot and pray my warriors stay standing or use a revival spell. Not sure I could solo a dragon though doing it like a lot of others have but then I'm not that good. I've enjoyed using all the various different powers and abilities though.

Have you played any of DAI's DLC's yet @Wynterdust? I've played the Jaws of Hakkon one as I did that on my last run but I've not played the Descent or Trespasser ones yet. I do have them and am going to go through them on this run. I know Descent is about the darkspawn and going down into the Deep roads again but really that's all I know about that one. Trespasser concludes the main story got some nice scenes in there. Apparently based on what I've seen you can get to marry your Love interest in it. Was thinking that's going  to be sweet for my next run as I was going to give Cullen a nice sweet elf mage to love.

You know you have played MGS Phantom Pain too much when:  You fall asleep and have a dream about attaching a ballon to someone and they fly into the air... :joy:

You know you've played too much Dragon Age when someone calls you and you end up thinking "Maker's breath! What have I done now. :p

  17. yeah but like Sunderland we've njot been playing great lately either just got lucky today. I'll takeit while I can though as I don't think this'll be a particularly good season for us either this year. At least based on the way things are looking atm. We've only got 1 out and out striker in our entire qsuad and he hasn't even scored yet this season. Domn't know what Poccfheino is thinking but I think that doesn't show good management. At least not to me.

  18. It ain't working :(  It's also looking like the spambots are stopping people from posting as already mentioned earlier.
Indeed they're too bus flagging the spam to find the time to get their posts on in the appropriate threads. Like I said stronger measures are needed

We already have captcha I believe. Dnote is consulting Vanilla for what else they can try.

I'm not saying that they haven't tried anything what I'm saying is that what their trying currently isn't working so clearly stronger measures are required to stop them as it's getting ridiculous

  20. The new to the forum sub forum had a page or 2 of just spam, i think we need more than just one new mod.
The F1 section was the same we need a spasm bot blocker a prove your not a bot sign in feature for when people sign up that would stop them. I know it's a pain but sites that use those donj't get spambot attacks like this in fact I don't see any spam at all on those sites.

  21. Dauym there's a lot of spam today. Getting ridiculous now, I can't believe this hasn't been stopped.

Well obviously when I'm online I will go through it all and delete it, but it does take time as I make sure I ban every user that does it too, so I mark them for spamming and choose to delete their content too.

On the other side of things, I do have a life so I can't be here all the time :p

Yeah we know you can't but I agree there's a lot of spambots on the attack here today. It really needs sorting and fast as it's getting ridiculous. But that's CM's problem not yours
