I'm going to wait till I can get it for £10 or something. I've got enough things to keep me going for now. -
yeah I know but I got it for a good price though as it only cost me £10 so I thought it was worth getting now even if I can't use it quite yet.Hughesy said:
It won't work yet bud, it's only available for people in the preview program. All they've said is in the summer, so any time really.sjsharp2010 said:Just bought Halo Reach after hearing of the ability of the XB1 to be compatible with 360 games looking forward to giving that a go if it works

I demand a cute button. :p cute little kittiesRevolvingPrawn said:No GoT spoilers please :p I plan on watching them all over a couple of days soon.
Anybody want 2 kittens btw? Had to catch these 2 little nightmares last night after they'd found their way into my step-dad's shed. My mum's gonna get them neutered and I'm looking for a new home for them. They're a bit skittish and not keen on being handled but they'll be fine if they grow up in a nice home. I'm not willing to travel too far though so if anybody would want em they can come see me to pick em up :p

yeah the only reason Battlefront doesn't excite me is because it's multiplayer. I do like the graphics and all and if there was single player I'd probably jump on it but I can't really play multiplayer.Platy said:Nothing really excited me. Battlefront may be the only thing I look at more, don't trust DICE though.

For me both ME and Doom aer winners I've always liked both those games

Hughesy said:Microsoft announced backward compatibility, so you can now play 360 games on Xbox One. You don't have to re buy them either, you can play whatever you've bought. That whips the butt of Playstation now service B) It's been a great E3 for Microsoft this year.

That'll be interesting as I've never played any 360 games looks like Halo reach could be part of that deal maybe I'll pick that up might be wort h it given it's the only Halo of note now I think that's not part of the MCC. Not that I'll get a lot but I may get 1 or 2 -
Awesome find now that I am looking forward to the most. Had a feeling we'd be seeing some info on the next ME soon and it looks like we have it. Have to say those graphics look pretty awesome as I suspected they might on the Frostbite engineRevolvingPrawn said:Oh yes! No this was crashing every time I launched it. Then when I went to play GTA Online with @RevolvingPrawn it kept crashing, so I quickly figured out (even though I'd been drinking) that it was the driver. So deleted and reinstalled and all is well :) Playing Pcars whilst being a little drunk is fun :Dsjsharp2010 said:

yeah sometimes it's because of a problem sometimes it's the game at least you found out what it was in my case it was just the game crashing. As I just rebooted it and it worked fine after that. -

Have to say playing a rogue is far trickier than playing a mage in Dragon Age Inquisition but I'm coping so far will be interesting when and if I take on the high dragons though. Will probably wait until I unlock my specialisation though. Still I'm enjoying the different challenges it's providing -

I really don't know what you're on about....lol I have the game, and it does have a story/singleplayer campaign...couger1981 said:
Nope i bought ODST thinking it had a bonus single player missions continuing from Halo 3 but was wrong and only played it for a short time them shelved it. I also have Halo wars :)Hughesy said:
I still think you are getting confused, Halo 3 ODST is just like Halo 1,2 and 3. Seems like you're thinking of the strategy game called Halo Wars,couger1981 said:
The 360 version offline mode is just against bots but if you like online play you should like it. Never got into the online aspect of Halo but love the single player campaigns.Hughesy said:
Huh? Halo 3 ODST isn't like that, you must be thinking of another game....couger1981 said:Not a great game tbh all you do is just battle against bots, i played for a bit then turned it off.

@Platy It says in the blog the G29 is Playstation only, the G920 is for PC and Xbox One. If it's good I'll get the G920 if the price isn't too high, as I already have T500rs for PS4.
Agreed @Hughesy I don't think I'd have bothered downloading it if it didn't have that. -
yeah I watched a vid of it on the Halo channel looks good enough to me but then I haven't actually played it yet and like with every game I'll reserve my final judgement until I have.Hughesy said:

yeah I didn't like 4 that much as the controls for using the vehicles in that game were a bit awkward for me. so ended up skipping parts of the game because of that. I did enjoy 1-3 though as they're great fun all the way through.Hughesy said:Some people didn't like ODST, but I really enjoyed it. Played a lot of multiplayer with mates as well.

Hughesy said:
Yea I have, did it last week I think but haven't played it yet.sjsharp2010 said:I take it you've redeemed your code for Halo 3 ODST @Hughesy ? I only just read last night that it's now available downloading it now
Yeah I haven't played it yet either as I'm in the middle of other things atm. I'm only downloading it now as there was a limited time that the code remains active for as the code only remain active till the end of June. Wasn't going to say no to a free Halo game :p. I am looking forward to playing it though. Was thinking of playing through 1,2 and 3 again soon so may take a look at it then -

As far as I know yes he's doing both but agreed to a pay cut so that contractually he can keep his job at the BBC and work with BT as well.fIsince08 said:Is Linekar still doing MOTD?

same here I've always liked Hill as well. I always thought even when he was racing that back then he'd make a good commentator/analyst. He just seemed to have the right personality to make it workHughesy said:Really? I love Lazembey, also Hill and Herbert are the best double act ever. Now DC and Jordan, those two were enough for me to mute my TV whenever they talked :# All of them are what makes the program so enjoyable. Jake Humphrey did my head in, now I have to hear him blabber on when watching BT Sports :s

Hughesy said:I refuse to get Netfilx again. I had it ages ago but cancelled it, then 6 months later I see they had been taking money out of my account for 2 months. I rang them and demanded my money back as I never restarted the subscription but they refused. They could see that I hadn't used it at all for those two months yet still refused, I gave up arguing in the end but I refuse to go back with them ever again. The service itself is great, but the customer service is beyond a joke.
I'd never use a service like that for exactly those reasons. I'd rather save the money buy a DVD and watch the program/film that way and sell it on afterwards if I no longer wanted it. -
the last 2 posts pretty much su8mmed it up really it's been delayed till July 10th. I'll wait until I can pick it up for about £10 or something because for me right now I don't think it's worth much moer than that based on what I've heard about it. Because aside from the shiny new graphics everything else I liked about the game series has been stripped off.Matthew77258 said:For someone who's pretty much out of the loop, can someone explain to me what's happening with F1 2015? I've been speaking to a few old members of the forum who don't venture onto here much anymore and they're telling me some things that don't seem very promising for the game. I could actually do the research myself, but i'm pretty lazy.

yeah if it's a collection of games then fair enough but not for 1 game. I managed to get all 3 witcher games for that price on Steam not that long ago an also that package included all the DLC for the first 2 games as well. But for just one game I don't think I'd ever pay that and it would have to be one hell of a game for me to even consider it. Although it does look a good game but based on that trailer @hughesy put up it doesn't really look any more special than any other game I've seen tbh.RevolvingPrawn said:
Yea I'd say £29 is pretty reasonable really.Hughesy said:I don't think any PC game should cost more than £35, normally £30 is my limit or around that. Microsoft and Sony take a large cut on consoles, and patches cost money for devs, whereas you don't have that on PC. The prices on Steam are becoming ridiculous, I'll never resort to buying from unofficial keysites though. Not only do I not trust them, I don't trust them with my debit card information.
I don't think Microsoft charge for console game patches anymore dude, pretty sure I read something about that a while before the X1 came out, probably so that they could entice more indie devs. But I'm completely in agreement on Steam prices. After seeing The Witcher 3 on there for £49.99 and now Fallout 4 for the same price I won't be buying from either.
And I wouldn't trust a Steam key site with my debit card details either, which is why it's lucky all the ones I use accept PayPal ;)
