Hopefully. Then we just need to give 2018 to England and all is right. Oh and USA gets 2022.
Whilst I'd like that to happen I doubt that will. I think the WC's will stay where they are as they're all planned out now I think. But getting rid of Blatter will hopefully prevent stupid things like this from happening again though with any luck

God sake  :( I hope Blatter gets sent to jail. I hope all of the European teams pull out of the World Cup, it's the only way to get rid of Blatter.
I do get the feeling that he'll have to step down whether he wants to or not as he's losing support and fast none of the UEFA countries really support him any more except for maybe Russia and that's only because he let them have the WC. Especially as the sponsors are threatening to pull out if he doesn't go as well You may as well retire now Blatter if you have any credibility left in you although I have to admit it doesn't look like you have by your statements. I think our FA will consider pulling out if it becomes necessary but I don't know about other FA's.

Shame they aren't adding Wales, would've had my mate in the game then.
maybe they will eventually this is the first time the womens game has been in the fifa spotlight anyway so will be interesting.
Would be weird to play using my school friend. People go on about women playing football and being sexist, but she ran rings around everyone and even men 4 years older than her. I'm really happy they are adding them, would be nice to add club teams in the future so you could do career mode.
yeah I'd like to see that too I watched some of the womens football during the London Olympics and I was quite impressed by some of it. Karen Carney I think her name is kind of looked like a female David Beckham she was a very good free kick taker and a pretty decent crosser of the ball as well out on the wing. It's good to see women being included in games. I often create female players on my tennis and golf gasme4s as well so I can play on both the mens and womens tours. Apparently this years World Snooker championship nearly had a woman playing in it but she lost in the final round of qualifying so it goes to show women can be just as capable as men are if given the chance.

Its easy to blame foreign owners and players, but there's more to it than that. The coaching of English players is awful. The focus is on bigger, powerful players, who are determined. Skillful players get overlooked, their technique is forgotten about and we end up with a bag of average players.

If Messi was English do you think he would have gotten to where he is today?

A lot needs to change in the FA and in English football and the grassroots, blaming foreign ownership is an easy cop out.
yeah but unless they get the chance to play though how can they shine that's the problem and show what they can do. There may be more to it but that's where for me the root of the problems are. They're not going to get the support they need if they can't get in their clubs first teams
Good players generally get into the first team. There's good players coming through the leagues and through clubs own youth academies, but compared to Spain, Germany, France, etc, they're pretty average.

Its such an easy excuse to blame foreign owners and players when there's clearly a huge problem with grassroots football. We need to start at the bottom to fix the problem.

U11's playing on full sized pitches with full size goals, how is that productive or going to teach kids good technique? It just results in the bigger, stronger kids who can kick the ball harder being the focus of teams. English coaches are behind so many other countries, they just don't have a clue.

The FA don't have the power, ability or guts to actually make any strong changes; its all just words. The Premier League is too rich and powerful. Basically, unless England get lucky we're not going to win a major tournament. We're hanging on to the top teams in world but we're never going to overtake them if we don't make drastic changes to coaching, grassroots and youth football in England. But yeah, its the fault of Johnny Foreigner that we're bad.
I think the FA do have the power but I think the problem there is they're worried about breaking EU rules and such by limiting the amount of foreigners our clubs can have which is why action isn't being taken. Aside from Barcelona and Real Madrid for example I don't see too many names in the other clubs that don't sound Spanish to me so it seems to me that they support their own same with France's Ligue 1 and Germany's Bundesliga to be fair. Now I don't know about whether their respective FA's have limitations in their leagues but if we want to pick ourselves up and get competitive again I think it would only help right now to establish limitations thereby encouraging clubs to develop the talent that we do have more I'm not saying we shouldn't have any foreign talents playing in our league but it needs to be more restricted I think than it is if we're ever to challenge at international level again.

I know a lot of people like to say Carrick is not that good (For some reason that is beyond me), but we've missed a huge trick by not playing him. Just look at his effect on Man United, he turns an average looking side into a team that can destroy Liverpool and Man City...Carrick, Henderson and Barkley would be a quality midfield. Front 3 of Sterling (maybe), Rooney and Welbeck could be good too.

Plus we need to try and get Terry back in the team IMO.
    |Yeah Carrick played pretty well for us before we sold him to you as well. Even scored a couple of goals if I remember rightly.

England will never win anything if they pick players because of their drive and determination rather than their actual ability to play football.
Hence what I said above in my last post. Unless the PL clubs help English players to flourish by giving them time in their first teams and helping them to improve instead of turning to foreigners all the time it's not going to help us. It's the foreign owners that are messing up our game as the only thing they're interested in is £ this sign or $ this sign if their American I don't like admitting it but it's true. They don't care diddly squat about our international game.

    Ipswich and FC Dallas.

Don't really care for the international team any longer.
When did you decide not to care about England anymore out of interest?

They really do annoy me most of the time, but personally, I can't not like them.
Probably 3 or 4 years ago. I just stopped caring. Its been the same old stuff for the past 20 years, just not worth investing time in. Coverage on ITV obviously doesn't help, but the management and FA need a drastic change if anything good is to happen.
Yeah you make a good point. I think since 1996 Euros or maybe 2002 WC, we've been poor...It annoys me that Hodgson is in charge for 2016. I get the feeling it will be yet another tournament wasted with a poor manager...

I can see why people lose interest. We had a team with Cole, Ferdinand, Terry, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes, Rooney and Owen and we won nothing...I just don't get it. If you'd given that team to Fergie, we'd have dominated...even Greece has won something recently...And we have nothing since 1966.

yeah since after Eriksson left we have been poor we did well under his reign though I think but certainly since the 2006 WC in Germany we have definitely struggled. TBH though I'm not suer we have the players now anyway even with a decent manager. I think it'll be a while till we get another group as good as that together to play for us. For that though I think the only solution is to stop all these foreign influences on our clubs as a lot of the PL clubs are all buying the talent they want/need from abroad now instead of helping players that are already here and developing them which would ultimately help the England team. But then that's what you're going to get if you let some oil tycoon run your club I suppose.

  9. So FIFA 16 will feature womens teams. I, for one, am excited, so long as Ellyse Perry's in the game.
yeah I posted this in the Fifa thread I read on my twitter feed last night that they we re going to be revealing something about Fifa 16 today and found it was that earlier on.

  10. I support Leicester and in Europe/ UCL it's Barca

    For international I support England
yeah in the Champion's League usually any of the English clubs. For me mostly Man U when it comes to that though as they're style of play (at least under Fergie) was very similar to ours they were just better overall at pulling it off than we were.

LOL. Very true. The pit stop system needs work.

...the game doesn't bring many new things to the table...

Indeed, it doesn't deliver many things that we haven't already seen in other games, but it does combine many of the separate things we've seen scattered across different games into one package.

That's one of the things I like most about the game as well. It6's kimnjd of like Grid Autosport except with  better graphics and a weather system that Grid doesn't have along with a pretty effective day/night transition as well which makes the game look and feel even moer spectacular. As I've done midnight races early evening races where the sun is low in the sky along with standard daylight races and it's all very spectacular and gorgeous looking.

I never expected it to really contain anything brand new in it because as you said it's all been done once or twice before at some stage but this game has put it all together and not many people can say they've done or even attempted it before P cars, which for me is what works in P cars favour. Have they got it all working perfectly? No. But at least they're brave enough to give it a try and in time hopefully they will get things better.

Yeah I was born in North London so I chose Arsenal not (insert annoying pun) best season yet in my opinion since the 'Invincible's'

Spurs is really my family's team my whole family supports them at least my dad did when he was alive and my brother does as well. Not the be4st of seasons for us but I would say it was an average one.

  13. Witcher 3 is pretty good from what little I've played so far, only just got it. Probably going to spend most my time on that until Elder Scrolls Online comes out. That and Mortal Kombat X which I also recently bought. Quite enjoying that too.
yeah the Witcher games do look pretty good looking forward to playing them myself when I get around to it that is. Currently negotiating the nightmare known as Orzammar atm on DA Origins but will be happy once I get through it, as it's definitely one of the toughest sections in the game although I'm definitely finding combat a lot easier as a warrior than I thought I might. Even the boss fights aren't proving that tricky at the moment and they're much harder as a mage. It may be partly down to the fact I know how the game works better now though.

  14. The one thing I will say about Pcars though, is the historic touring cars are complete trash. The way they react to even the slightest touch is preposterous. I hate racing the AI with them because it always results is some kind of absurd flip.
Well I haven't had any problems in the historic races I've done but then I think it seems with PCars everybody's experiences seem to be wildly different around here. At least based on comments here and on the F1 section
I have an even better one from earlier tonight. But I don't have time to upload it til atleast Friday.

The way the cars react to side contact is absurd. And the AI runs into all the time, causing little bunny hops that send you straight on. Which inevitably leads to them running into you and and you flipping In some absurd fashion.

     https://youtu.be/LMgMJ-TgIvE

After having some more time to play it, I've actually quickly become fed up with this game. I went ahead and deleted it. I'll try again once it's been patched.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen all I was saying is that that hasn't happened to me as yet

I agree with you on the GP2 graphics. In terms of BBC coverage the highlight package is just righ, especially when the races are boring (Australia) Live coverage is also good. But I find Ben Edwards a little 'excitable'. I miss Brundle :joy:
I don't I watch him every gp weekend but then I have Sky Sports F1

Fair enough, I don't think many people here defend CM any longer, maybe one of the people I don't really know, but fair enough.

Just played online for a good hour, random lobbies with my friend. Have to say for the majority of it everyone was clean and fair, had a couple of idiots but not many compared to other online racing games. Surprised me really.
    I echo that :p
Agreed even I've grown tired of trying to efend them and tbh this decision they've made to drop the career mode for me in the latest F1 game really is the last straw

I wasnt even hyped about it and im disappointed. Unfinished is the best word to describe it.

The denial on the forums about the AI is pretty funny though, even from the head of studio but at least it looks like he's willing to change things.

I have to say that atm its no better than the F1 games.
If you look at my posts before release I talked about the head of studio. He won't listen to players and never admits to problems, and people that spoke up about issues ended up getting banned, so much for a community game. They can't take criticism at all, I love the physics but the AI has been an issue since day 1. Online is fine, but now you guys can see why for 90% of pre release I was just hot lapping.

I don't have a problem with the ai, but that's because I know how to deal with them. I think they should've kept all the sliders that were in pre release as you could change loads of things like aggressiveness, intelligence and how they defend.

Yeah I agree they should have especially as some people like a more gentle more forgiving slower AI like myself which we got in the earlier CM games up until 2012 and some like a fast aggressive AI like we got with F1 2013 for example. I'm not saying that the AI in that game was bad for everyone but it was bad for the kind of racing that I prefer. Because I find myself having to race a lot like Pastor Maldonado in order to compete with it. That was even after I downloaded and applied a grip mod to the game to stop the cars being so twitchy.

Still although I agree it's not perfect I will say I have raced what I would consider worse AI. But it seems to me that that is an area that a lot of racing games tend to struggle with in terms of getting things right. Although I do think that if they did do what you suggested @Hughesy and left the intelligence and aggression bars in like EA's F1 challenge had on that game that would have been better

  19. Probably yeah. The thing is, to drive it's actually very very good. I want to like it but the AI do not react to the player, or other AI cars for that matter, as they should be and that for me is completely ruining the game. It probably isn't as much a problem in GT, Le Mans etc but in open wheelers it's just abysmal that they keep driving into the player and refuse to come off their railroad in corners (either overtaking or being overtaken by the player). That and all their other issues with weather, fuel, tyre wear and temp makes it feel like the game isn't finished.
Yeah I had 1 or 2 moments in the formula rookie cars where the AI did bump me a bout a bit but seeing as I don't play with damage on or anything like that it didn't really affect me too much. Although I'm racing the Ginetta cars for my second season. I've done a few practice laps around Hockenheim in them and they felt good so looking forward to that.

  20. The best thing about this game is that it'll give me a bonus £10 voucher as well as its trade-in value when I trade it in next time I'm in town. I've given up trying. Everytime I've played it I've just ended up getting angry at it. (Which is a first for me since I never get angry at games). The AI are just...there's no words.
Maybe I'll try it again a few months down the line after the patches and if it's cheap to buy again. But right now, this is by far the biggest disappointment I've played since I started gaming.
Nebver mind I suppose it's one of those games that suits some people better than others as I've quite enjoyed playing it so far I've only done the one season so far but I do plan on going in and doing a few more eventually

Gwent is the best card game ever created in a game ever. It's a card game in The Witcher 3 and is strangely addictive, as you beat people you get better cards :)
sounds like we're both enjoying medieval RPG's then atm.
Yep, normally I wouldn't play these mini games, but this is the type of card game I wouldn't mind playing in real life.
Yeah I tend to only use those minigames to boost up my characters cash levels to where I need them to be  as well so I can afford the equipment I need for taking on the tougher enemies at the end of the game. But as you say some of them can be quite good fun I find a lot of the mini challenges in the Citadel DLC for ME3 very good fun as well. Haven't got around to playing the Witcher games yet but I have got them downloaded and ready to go on my system for when I'm finished my current DA run
