If I posted this wrong, feel free to call me out on it. I don't use Reddit often and I've never done it on an actual computer, so this is my first time. Sorry if it is. Anyways, I understand just how old this game is, however I'm lost here. The game installs, and won't launch. It's worked perfectly fine for me on Windows XP, Vista and 7 in the years past, and now it's just choosing to stop working I guess. It shows up in task manager for a few seconds and then kills itself. I've tried running this thing on my laptop (10) and my desktop (8.1 and 7). However, for whatever reason, the demo version is working without a hitch on every version of Windows I've tried the full game on. I contacted Codemasters last night, and they weren't very helpful to be honest https://100001.onl/ - just their usual PR response of "We can't guarantee it'll work on X version of Windows since it was made for 98/2000/ME/XP," despite the fact that I sent them essentially the same thing I'm posting here, and stated that it's worked up to this point. I'm really frustrated. I've had this game since I was a little kid but I threw it to the side after Wheldon passed away. Now I'm interested in this again but it's not working, and I'm not willing to spend $50+ on a new copy of this game ASSUMING I even had the money to do that right now. Has anyone been able to get this https://1921681254.mx/ thing to work, and if you have how did you do it? Or should I just throw this thing to the wind and let it remain a memory? Things I've tried already include using all the compatibility modes available, replacing the full game's EXE with the Demo's EXE (mind you I didn't even need to add any compatibility mode settings to get the Demo to launch - it just worked.), and installing, reinstalling, reinstalling again, and straight-up ripping the whole game off the disc and dumping it onto my hard drive TL;DR: Game won't launch on operating systems I've used it on before but the demo is working without complaining. How do I fix this?

My dream is to race in F1, which is admittedly unlikely. I’m a 17 year old kid in America, so where do I start on this undoubtedly long journey? Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section, I couldn't find a dedicated F1 2018 forum? I'm having trouble with steering in F1 2018. I'm using a Logitech g920, and any sort of input from the steering wheel causes it to full lock in that direction. I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying game cache, completely deleting my save files to start the game from scratch, updating the drivers, and still there's the same problem https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/. I have played the game before and haven't had any problems, but a couple of weeks ago I played it with a controller, and I think I changed the settings so any input would full lock to that direction, but I guess I can't remember how I did it. I've also checked in the settings in game in the calibration settings and that doesn't do anything as well. Any ideas on what I've done here, or how I can fix it would be greatly appreciated!
