  1. I remember even before 2010 was released, we used to get all excited about the developer diaries, screenshots and @Kptk92's MS paint jobs. We actually used to see Steve and other devs whose names escape me and Big Boss Helios  used to be the top cop around these parts. Now the F1 games subforum is just an apocalyptic wasteland.

  2. Open house party at yours then Mike? ;)
(I expect you'll be buying us all the plane tickets).

In other news, just remembered that I signed up here exactly 3 years ago!
      3 years 8 months for me :)
6 years and about 2 weeks here :)
Why are we all surprised? Isn't it natural for the pensioners to be around the longest?

Four years, six months for me. Though, I actually remember lurking around since I found out CM had the licence.

  3. Under normal circumstances, I'd agree with Lewis. We see this all the time where someone goes off in a (relatively) dangerous position and all it takes are double-waved yellows to clear it, then we're back racing, but with these decisions, you can never be too cautious. Most cars at the time were on inters, definitely not suitable rubber for the conditions and at a corner where known to have caused a fair amount of overshoots. In conditions like today, I believe if at any point, a person has to step into the controlled area of the track, there should be a safety car. It might be an inconvenience to the audience, it might decide a race or even a championship, but we're talking about people's lives here. You hear Martin Brundle talking about it all the time, how he sometimes fears about the manner in which a car is being recovered, and unfortunately, it happened today.
