Since we can't have longer stages, the trick would be to add another long one (which translates into 2 new long stages in-game). That would be enough for variety imo.

i would like more locations instead of more tracks per locations, to have more variety

He means that the engine develops more power during nights which are cooler.  Which is true for turbocharged engines.  Though this is definitely not going to be part of the game simulation (as he also suspects).

yeah, that's because i was arguing his response 🙂

You don't see the abyss so you don't brake as much

joking apart,  in argentina all is grey... road, rocks, cliffs, bridges+ the ecxessive shaking make you barely focus on the road on some stages.   i wish the devs give us the opportunity to set down shakings more than it's now possible  ( and on dashcam also)

Don't know about DR2 yet, but in DR1 I was always faster in Sweden in the night because the headlights clearly defined margins and snowbanks, while during the day the lighting is flat and it's hard to tell the road apart

yeah, but on argentina i'm faster at night because there is more contrast,  at day with ridiculous shakings i can't focus on the road............

I dont think they had simulated that far, but in reality a Car is almost allways faster nights, temperature are colder, colder temerature of Air intake = more power from engine

    whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????  😂

i've sayed that on night i'm faster because there is more visual contrast in argentina and i can focus better on the road, regardless of the exagerated camera shakings.....

how it is possible that on some stages in argentina i set better times in night/dry conditions then in day/dry conditions????

i explain you why:  the camera shaking is so strong that i can focus my eyes on the road,  i've made a poll about that, with 90% of people giving me right that shaking is too ecxessive.

never heard anything more about that question from you........

Not to mention that, even for my poor man standards, the dlc's are pretty cheap... Having said this, i understand the criticism, DR2.0 was shamefully rushed out, with about the same content but less features than DR in it's current state, and alot of game breaking bugs which are still to be resolved (fortunatly, i haven't had nothing serious, as i have never experienced the audio bug, the FFB was good enough for me, albeit far from perfect, never had problems loging in racenet, etc). Saying that DR2.0 customers are just whining about a game not being bug free in it's final release version is, in my opinion, like saying that it is ok if i buy a brand new Ferrari with a broken engine just because it is a... Ferrari... Paying customers are in their own right to criticize something that is obviously as bugged as DR2.0 is, if this criticism is honest and made in a positive way. It's up to CM to try and bring the game back on track, resolving the main issues with the help of us, those that love this game and don't wan't it to be dropped to soon, with still so much potential in it...

what people don't get is that dr1  was an early access game with MONTHS of  bugfixing and improvements!!!!!!!!

they almost sure buyed the finished dr1 and now whining about dr2.0, wich is getting evry day better..........

    nothing else to say

Same here. I posted on reddit asking people to correct their Steam reviews. There is still a lot of hate out there for always online, paid dlc's and no vr. 😕 People are nitpicking like crazy and can't see the positives. As if the fact that it's the best rally game of the generation doesn't matter.

Dirt Rally 2.0 is much more in every way than the original. Dirt Rally could not even air the wheels of this Dirt Rally 2.0.

it's so rewarding compared to the first dr1, in wich  it was more a fight versus the wonky physics, rather than the opponents.

in dr 2.0 you also have  a lot more confidence on how much you can push a car to the limits without crashing

also setups are a lot more effective

and evry car has the correct physics,  specially the rwd cars now behave a lot better than in the first title

it really annoys me that this game don't get the right  approval
