I'd rather you guys kept it to immersive banners rather than actual advertising regardless. Why do I have to see the latest Codies game or some stupid twitter hashtag anyway? You shouldn't be bombarding your paying customers with ads and slogans. I want to forget the real world and race a rally car not drive through an advertising platform.

Oh wow, very cool that it has a track creator. I would love that for DiRT Rally series as well.
(Though if had to choose I rather see the return of YourStage as an addition to handcrafted stages).

Lego representations of prop planes.

Will it now be the last piece of content for sure @PJTierney? Or is there still something in the pipeline.

Ah well, I'm hoping we'll at least be able to save more setups with the new update though.

In what world does "rock-solid 30fps" feel as smooth as 60fps?

The dream is of course that DR3.0 releases in 2023 with the usual cars + the new wrc cars, the wrc locations etc. But I don't think that is what will happen.
It'll be a continuation of the current WRC series but by Codemasters. Similar to what F1 now is.

DR2 makes very clever use of 2D sprites for the dust right? Is this different?
Also I would very much like for Codemasters to go a bit more in depth with a blog or video in the future about EGO engine.

From what I read OnRush in on a modified/upgraded version of the EGO engine too.

Happy to see they split up the series' focus now. DiRT 4 was just too confused.

I mainly just don't want to lose any cars we currently have. The current list is amazing.
Besides the obvious or the unattainable, there aren't any cars that are truly missing in DR2.0. Maybe an Up to 1600cc class for ~2012 wrc cars like in the original DiRT Rally.

Will this ever be sorted out for the long term? All I see is "we're monitoring it" and yes across time one expects activity to go down and things to become stable.
Why can other games have stable mp matches and DiRT can't even do stable singleplayer campaigns. This always online poop continues to be an obstacle.

Who cares? You got a good deal and a good game so be happy about it. Check out this thread for cool liveries and personally I really like GTR Technical YouTube channel for car setups.

Looks like a most challenging combo of Poland and Wales. I can't wait!

Don't understand why people care about balance at all. If you wanna drive it just drive it.

Dynamic time and weather seem pointless on 10 minute stages. It was not immersive in D4 for example.

Rallycross is featured in both games for one, if they decide to represent the coming seasons in Pcars for a while then they might just not bother competing against themselves with another DiRT title. There's no real indication a new DiRT title is on the cards at all. It's a niche genre and thus this franchise is fragile. Competition in the form of the WRC games is heating up and it's not like DiRT is making recordbreaking sales...

With PrCars3 on the way maybe we won't even see a new DiRT for a long time to come.

I'm quite satisfied with the selection of cars we have. Obviously every addition is welcome but we do have a lot of cars from a lot of eras.
At the same time I'm not quite sure what I'd want from DR3. There's been some great suggestions made in the thread already especially regarding gameplay, multiplayer and user interface.
Just whatever you do don't ruin the driving model. There's areas of it that require improvement but you guys got it 90% nailed.
