Mercedes might be in trouble. Going on a limp here and say that Ferrari has a real shot at winning this race. Only thing that worries me, is their hard tyre-pace. Red Bull's race pace seems to be alright too. Toro Rosso's however is not. I don't expect points from Verstappen.

I like how just about every member on every team has a good feeling for the Bahrain Grand Prix. We're literally overflowing with positivity these days.

Seeing Hinchcliffe get really, really excited over it was funny though. I think it was his first race win too.Chadwick8505 said:
It really was pathetic. They should rename it Formula Caution. Just when I thought Indycar might be getting interesting with the aero stuff we have an entire race under the safety car. And in the end a driver who had no chance of winning if they actually had any green flag laps. shame.Jiggy said:Wait, the full race is on YouTube?
Btw, anyone watched the IndyCar race in New Orleans, Louisiana? Never laughed so hard at a complete shambles of a race and I watched the entire 2005 US Grand Prix without commercial breaks. The conditions were too wet to race for a long time, then it sort of dried up, but they never heard of intermediates over there, so people just started using slicks. That's when the drama started. They couldn't last over a lap under green until the safety car had to come out because of debris, contract, people spinning out. The race was won by James Hinchcliffe because he stayed out with like 20-30 laps to go while a lot of other people went into the pits, because he guessed they wouldn't had to race anymore. His guess paid off when all the cautions meant time ran out, so they had to throw out the finish flag. It sounds somewhat funny, but in all seriousness, there are people who believe American open-wheel racing is doomed and these sort of things aren't helping. There was like no crowd in New Orleans either and it was a brand new circuit too.

Don't worry, I have a feeling one of us is going to get the entire top-10 right real soon.afrodude41 said:

Team 2nd overall, but them points Prawn got though. :|
And then whoever gets is will be disappointed he didn't bet money on that race too.

While my personal opinion is that Rosberg's attitude sounds kind of defeatist, instead of saying like *screw that guy, then I'm going to push beyond hell and give him a reason to never go slow in front of me again*, I also believe his way of thinking is partly because of the "conserve this, conserve that, save this, save that"-mindset we have in F1 right now. It seems like it's people's main objective now, how do we conserve tyres/fuel/engine, instead of how do we win the race. It's a thing I really hate in F1.fIsince08 said:
Which is called racecraft, really I have no idea what Rosberg is twisting about!Jiggy said:I'm guessing this is what Rosberg is thinking. By slowing down, Hamilton is hurting Rosberg's tyres. If you go for the overtake, you push your own tyres even more. Not only that, Hamilton seems in such control of his pace that he would easily react to that. You won't be able to get close enough to really attack him and you'll just end up in the same position you're in now, only it will hit your tyres even more because of the increased pace.
But I digress, I can understand where Rosberg is coming from, I'm just disappointed with the way he reacted/dealt with the situation put in front of him.

Thanks man.
I love Reddit. I really do.

Yeah sorry about that. But fear not, as the afro is the legendary hairstyle it is not for the brightness of its shine during success, but for its resiliency during adversity. We'll be back.

It's like watching Schumacher all over again. The German anthem followed by the Italian one, the against all odds-win.

Always a great story to see backmarkers get points against all odds imo.

So I've picked up Hunter x Hunter since my last reply in this topic around April.
WOW!
That is all.
Next up is probably Akame ga Kill, Gintama, Kill la Kill and maybe Death Note. I'm one of the few who is yet to see Death Note.

He looks like young Thomas Müller to me.

Part of that might be coming from very, very speculative rumors that Renault is looking to take over the Red Bull Racing-team. Renault wants to become a team after all because it promotes their brand better than just engines and Red Bull, the company, feels that they've basically maximized all the potential they could've gained, based on commercial successes, in F1, so in an effort to reduce costs (because the profits of 2014 were lower than expected), they would be willing to continue with their smaller team, but sell the main team to Renault.
Dutch commentator spoke of these rumors, but also pointed out that it's an incredibly vague one that could be mostly guesswork and theories created out of the current Red Bull-Renault conflict.
