7 New Car Smell
  1. We never had (recognizable) desync issues before the last update, but now online Multiplayer seems to be unplayable: Yesterday we had 4 races, I call them a), b), c). a) 4 humans, 16 AI. I was host. One human player saw the other players right after the start with an "X" in front of their name. He was out of sync the whole race resulting in wrong ranking order, random blue flags at the finish line, cars parking on the finish line (that were in fact in the pits) on his screen.   2. A detailed description of the issue. Description: Sometimes I get the wrong tires in the pits. I suspect it has something to do with the "suggestions" for tires Jeff is making to me. In the video attached I am choosing H-tyres, then Jeff suggest something which I do not care about, keep the window open, H locks in and they mount M.   3. Great that you also experienced the issue and reported it! I think more reports will make it easier to fix the issue for the developers. Here is another thread about it. Maybe the two topics can be joined? (Just to resolve this one, according to the tag of the other thread the issue is already with developers.)
  4. As it might help understand und resolving the issue: I am quite sure that the Austria bump in turn 2 is also present in F1 2019. I have never played F1 2020, so for me it felt familiar and by design. For me, the other issues are significantly diffent as they happen at the edge of the track.
  5. I can confirm that it also happens in Single Player. However, I am not sure about the quantity. This is hard to judge as it seems that it does not affect all AI cars (as seen in my first video where OCON goes crazy, but Leclerc on P9 seems to be fine). Additionally, I think we only realize the problem if the AI is actually just a bit behind a human player and overtakes him/her. If the AI is far behind and just gets some time, we might not have realized. Overall, I would estimate it might happen in ~1/3 of the VSC / Delta before SC phases.

    100% ageed. I think, assists should support players learning the game and it is great that they are there. However, if you are able to drive without assists, you should never be pushed by the game mechanics to turn them on because it is faster. In my opinion, this ruins (semi-)competitive racing in groups where not all drivers can play without all assists. If you have one or two newbies and you have to allow assists because of them this currently triggers all other players also to use assists because it is faster.   10. A detailed description of the issue. Just before the end of a VSC (exactly at the time, at which the "VSC ends" is shown) the delta-time magically seems to "jump".   11. A detailed description of the issue. We are at the end of Q2 in a long qualifying. After the time is up, you are usually allowed to complete the current lap. However, sometimes (for us, this happend two times out of ~8 races) Q2 immediately ends for all players exept the host if one of the other cars finishes the current lap. The host can continue his/her lap, all other players' laps are stopped. For Q3 all players (except the host) are locked in "spectator view" and cannot control their cars. Report Code Unfortunately, I don't have the report code. It was Version 1.04.
  12. A detailed description of the issue. We had a Multiplayer Game in which the host left the game and a change of the host was triggered.
