DiRT Rally 2.0 - Force Feedback

Not sure why they always tell the people they will improve it - they are not able or willing to understand what people like to have - it's quite simple bring back the FFB of DR1. For my Simucube 1 OSW wheel FFB still is far from Dirt Rally (no feel of tyre slip on esp. hard to know what your car is doing when on loose surface as guessing isn't making you faster) and I know that I will never buy any game from CM in the future! They were not able to deliver a Dirt 4 that met my expectations and now with Dirt Rally 2 it's the same, although the reasons for the imho epic fails are different for both games. I hope that other companies will manage to support any combination of wheels, pedals and controllers (the biggest issue with WRC7 I heard) - as long as this isn't the case I will stay with DR1 ...

DiRT Rally 2.0, Version 1.5: Bug Reporting Thread

As already mentioned in an earlier post I also have a massive input lag (1/4-1/2 sec) for my steering wheel (SimuCube 1) since this release and the FFB is still lagging any info regarding tire slip. Not sure why I paid for the Deluxe version of this game as it is still not playable for me, esp. in comparison to Dirt Rally and the other games I play from time to time (AC and R3E). Together with Dirt 4 I paid >100€ for two games I played less than 50 hours overall compared to Dirt Rally that I played >1100 hours - based on this experience I will not buy any new title from Codemasters before they were massively tested by end users and they released several updates. If the updates are not working at all according I even will not buy it to save my money.

    DiRT Rally 2.0 - V1.2 - found a bug? Post it here!

Solved (see below) Hoped it will makes things better - now my Pedals are not working anymore on my PC :-((((((((((((((( In Windows they are still shgowing up as functional, but DR2 is not recognizing any movement/button press. CM is it possible that you don't add new bugs, that prevents a bunch of people from playing the game - I'm anyway already heavily disappointed about this game because of the issues with the feedback, but but you managed it to make me even more angry ... I think that was the last time I spent money for one of your games, esp. when I feel like a beta tester - why didn't you choose the early access setup with 1/3 of the price - this would have matched the quality the game currently has imho. The hint from MBastieK made it work again ... Any chance to write special device definitions to a file that is not overwritten when doing an update?
