Looks extremely boring to me :p
-
@onetwothree I'll have to watch it on iTube. Been busy with a stupid tablet with some crap software on it that soft bricks after rooting and reverts back to its crappy software after flashing Android to it, all frigging day.

Is it you @Herby007 ? :p Lol, I'm sure @Herby007 and I have spoken about our mutual MGS love on the forums before ;)

Most likely to be a HDD bud (though it could be one of the DS's, no doubt about that!) but unless it's a nasty grinding noise I wouldn't worry about it ;) One of my HDD's for months would make this weird high pitched noise that would last about 6 seconds, and it would do it 3 times a day. Every time it did it I'd freeze and worry something was gonna die on me lol, but it's been a few weeks now since I last remember hearing it. It may still be doing it but I've tuned it out, who knows! My point being though, unless it starts to get worse, louder, or you start encountering problems, don't worry about it :) Plus if it isn't constant then just tune it out for the few seconds it does happen.

I still have my PS2 copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (along with Metal Gear Solid PS1, and Metal Gear Solid 2 PS2, and the same PS2 console, still working, that I bought on release day) :) It came with Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 on one of the 3 discs. Needless to say, it's a collection that I'm hoping to keep with me till the day I die!

Yeah, that's the one. I love it! Nice to see a young lad into a game that came out around the time he was born ;) Metal Gear (not Solid) came out the year I was born, and that series of games have influenced how I think about video games in a huge way :)

@TURBODEVIN19 Take it back and get an Xbox One controller instead :p Feels much nicer in the hands and the sticks and triggers are hugely improved. Plus you can plug it in with any micro USB cable :)

My beard has gotten fairly long since November, so...

Lucky bugger lol. I had planned on getting it from a key shop, settled on G2Play, but then you get to the checkout and they start adding on the VAT then lol. So it ended up being £31 from them, which just made me think I'd be better off just getting it from Steam. The G2Play one didn't come with Be The Zombie but Steam did so... Looks like a fun game though, like a much better version of Dead Island.

Lol, I won't deny I did a fist pump while being all like 'manly stuff, yea!' before realising I was fist pumping because of fairy lights :p

Bit of a shame they only go that far, but hey, still a rather nice card for the money! :) Just fixed the humming issue on my speakers btw lol. Seems the cable I pulled out that made the system work didn't like being pulled out. Whenever I plugged it in it stopped humming but then the far left speaker stopped working. So I cut apart these USB fairy light things I got for 99p at Xmas, stripped the end of the wires and used electrical tape to connect it to the end of the problem RCA jack, then the other end I just tapped to the metal casing of the amp, and voila, hum is gone :) Oh, and then I fixed the USB back onto the fairy lights because fairy lights are cool ;)

Yup, it's about £15 cheaper than the RRP here :) Watch the TTL review of it bud, he had the Asus Strix one and I can't remember how many extra FPS he got but he properly gushed about how well it overclocked :) Some of the benchmarks he showed were pretty awesome. Here it is, worth watching purely for his funnies. He says about upping the volts that it "absolutely flourished when you give it a little bit of a tickle on the old testicles" haha B) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgkzNevBOpQ

@RevolvingPrawn So I was £10 off B) Damn I'm good...hehe @couger1981 should get that card, unless the price is much higher where he lives. It won't get near a 970 even overclocked, it has a lot less cores and only 2GB Vram. Will be a great card for its price though. There about $395 over here. Ahem ;) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1732&products_id=30580&zenid=09200ce4676359ea2db776b3134d13dd

It's too late for me excitement wise :p Oculus Rift is something I've been eyeing up for months now, but I won't get a DK2, don't wanna pull the trigger on one until the consumer product is released. And now with Hololens been announced, it's another thing to add to my wishlist ;) Really wish I did have a DK2 right now though, seen some vids of people playing Alien Isolation with it and I wanna poop my pants as much as they were!
-
Lol, its not because of Minecraft I want it :p I don't enjoy Minecraft at all. Did you watch the video or just look at the thumbnail? ;)

I never got far in Absolution, don't know why but it didn't hook me in like the other Hitman games. I'm going to try it again at some point though. Tbh, I hated it at release :p Played the whole game on 360 and traded it as soon as I was done with it. Butgoing back to it I am enjoying it finally lol, finding it a lot easier to stealth entire levels than I did before which is cool :)
-
Well, this video is enough to make me want it in my life lol :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRQv74J7oSk

Well I've got my main PC in my bedroom, and my poo PC made from old/spare parts hooked up in my living room to the TV. I use it for movies, a bit of light gaming, and streaming games from my main PC. It's definutely showing the age of some of the parts though, specifically the CPU, and the RAM, it's running DDR2 still right now. I do have an SSD in it but it's just not as speedy as I want it to be. Agreed on DDR4. It's the same thing as 4K to me. Until it's a fair bit cheaper and more of a standard I won't be going for it. You looked at the Microsoft Hololens btw? I WANT ONE lol.
-
I've gone back to Hitman Absolution lol. Trying to beat your level scores, and I think for about half the ones I've done I have, but it's hard to say for sure cos it only tells me your score at the start of the level. Don't know how to compare otherwise.

@RevolvingPrawn So I was £10 off B) Damn I'm good...hehe @couger1981 should get that card, unless the price is much higher where he lives. It won't get near a 970 even overclocked, it has a lot less cores and only 2GB Vram. Will be a great card for its price though. Everybody should get that card :p For the price it's pretty awesome, it rivals an AMD R9 285 for 1080p gaming, which is sweet! And that's why I said apparently ;) Read it on some random site where the guy reckoned it would overclock that far. I suppose on some undemanding games it could, but with modern titles it's unlikely. Tell you what man, if my contract is renewed at the end of March I might consider a 960 along with new CPU and mobo for my crappy second PC :)
-
@Hughesy So Scan are selling the GTX 960 for £160 :) Damn sweet price for a card that can apparently overclock to 970 performance levels! Definitely a card @Herby007 should have a look at for his future upgrade.
-
Lol, yea I might be misreading it, either that or I'm just expecting the worst from Microsoft :p What I thought it meant was you do the upgrade and then a year later a message pops up saying it's time to pay for it. If it truly is free as long as you upgrade during year one that'd be amazing! I'd get everybody in my family to do it, and do every computer we have at work :)
-
Yea, so what it means is that it's only a year from the day it's released, and not from the day you install it right? Definitely a good thing, but I'm not keen on paying £70-£100 for an OS I'd already been using for a year :p Definitely a cool feature :) I'll probably use it mainly so I don't have to switch input and my audio cables around.
-
Just been reading that and came to mention it here lol. Now for the dark side of it though... It's only a one year upgrade, and the question of a subscription based Windows was dodged. I can totally see them doing something that shifty if I'm honest. If the price is reasonable then great, won't be a problem, but if they decide to charge anything like what they do for the Office package then I'll stick to 8.1 I think. Edit: And my fears have not come true lol. Nice that it's a one year upgrade, not nice that it'll be full price at the end of that year. I'd rather do the discounted upgrade like I did with Windows 8. http://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-windows-10-will-not-be-sold-as-a-subscription/
