Aha, I remember the name MastaVonBlasta :) Though I think we used to post in different sections mostly. Remember Bumfez?

I ran it too to see how I compared, and with everything stock I got 11145. I was shocked and disappointed to be beaten lol :p So I've played around a bit with some OC'ing, and it seems I can't get over 1400Mhz without getting crashes. Both times I did my PC black screened Firestrike and restarted itself. So I ended up going for 1379Mhz on the GPU, stock CPU still, and came out with a score of 12217 :) Pretty chuffed too that it didn't go over 71c to get that. So I'll have another play around with it tomorrow and see how it goes with a longer period of gaming, but for now I'm going to bed :p  Oh and also better than 97% of PC's too ;)

I was right! ;) You can see now why I was always trying to defend it right? I honestly love mine, and even if it can't overclock like the one you have, it's not drastic enough that I won't be able to Ultra games ;) Plus in my eyes the reference design is the sexiest lol. That's why I didn't wanna wait to get it, wanted to snap it up early while the usual manufacturers were still putting out the reference.  Nah, I think it should be ok. It's all ordered now and I'm looking at my bank account with a face like this :s  Ah well, payday in 8 days at least lol. Got it all set for Friday delivery while I'm off work. Right now I'm using my speakers set to 3.1, and it sounds so weak :(

@Hughesy Gonna order the ones I want and hope that RCA to 3.5mm jacks will work lol. People on Toms Hardware say it will so I'll blame them if it doesn't :p

You get no stuttering FC4?! That seems like a miracle to me lol.  I still get it now and then, but if it's gone for you then I'll stick my clock speeds up so that they match what yours started at :p  I think whats cool though, is your happy with your cooler, and I'm happy with mine :) With my fans hitting the same speeds as yours, the card is still not as loud as my HDD when playing games. The only time I can hear it is with all of my other fans between 700 and 900 rpm, and the game running from SSD. Didn't know yours stopped spinning though, that's pretty damn awesome :) Would that be because for such a badass GPU it has a ridiculously low TDP compared to its competitors? ;)  Fully stuck now. Seems like the only speakers I can really find are Logitech Z506. I really want the Microlabs ones after reading some of the specs, but I really can't be bothered to get RCA to 3.5mm converters, without even knowing if that'll work or not. Time to do some Googling lol. If not, I can just walk into Currys tomorrow and pick up the Logitech ones, even though I'd rather get better ones than them.

Well, I won't be getting the ones above after all then. Seems the cables for connecting 5.1 audio are all RCA. Which to me says it's a TV 5.1 system, not a PC one.

    The PC Thread

Already looked into that :p It does seem like a good option, but just about every single system comes with a DVD or Blu Ray player, and I don't need either. As for the cost, the trouble for me is I can find systems from 50-10 quid, then there's a jump up to over £200. I'd be willing to spend up to say around £140, but there doesn't seem to be F all filling that gap. As for headphones, I can only really wear mine for a few hours before my ears start feeling cramped and irritated, plus I don't always like not being able to hear what else is going on around me lol.

No worries dude, I've just switched my current ones to use only the left, right, center, and bass, and just switched them around so the sound isn't too weird. Just looking at the usual PC sites, and so far the ones below are what I'm thinking will work for me. My must have is a separate volume control (either cable with a volume wheel or separate box is good). Ideally I'd have liked one with optical in, but there's literally none for less than £200, annoying! http://www.scan.co.uk/products/microlab-finecone-fc360-51-channel-pc-multimedia-speaker-system-100-watt-total

Sorry not to respond to your whole comment dude, just figured out I am gonna have to buy new bloody speakers anyway now. Stupid ones I've got have buggered up AGAIN. The first set I got, one of the channels was DOA, so I sent em back and the replacement set was fine. Until about 2 months ago when the auto off feature stopped working and the speakers always stayed on. Not really a problem though that. Just decided to mess with my EQ though and the right rear/side satellite channel has stopped working. The speaker is fine, just that frigging channel doesn't work. Not particularly pleased!

Lol I got the same response when I bought my Samsung SSD from them bud. The sound card is an Asus D2x and is awesome, although I only use it for Dolby Live now, as my headphones use digital audio. Makes a big difference from onboard audio, but as stated before I'm an audiophile hence spending £200 on 2.1 Corsair speakers (http://www.corsair.com/en/gaming-audio-series-sp2500-high-power-2-1-pc-speaker-system which are amazing! And £250 on my headphones. Lol, I've looked at both that sound card and those speakers :p Love the look of the sound card, and I've definitely considering dropping some cash on one for myself, I might still one day but not just yet. As for the speakers, I looked at em, then decided that if they weren't 5.1 then I didn't want them. They're probably awesome, but I like my sound spread widely so I can tell which direction something is happening in game. Ideally, I want the ones in the link below, but they're a little pricey lol. It's annoying because there isn't really any middle ground, you get ones between £50 and £100, then they shoot up massively with nothing in between. That between is where I would buy my speakers. Atm I'm using Creative T6300, and they're ok, but I definitely want more power.  http://www.scan.co.uk/products/logitech-z906-51-surround-sound-speakers-500w-rms As for headphones, I use F.R.E.Q. 7's, 7.1 virtual surround sound with a detachable mic lol. Pretty sweet, and they fit my ears perfectly with the piercings and tunnels in them lol.

Much better picture lol ;) Is that your sound card below? What make and model is that? Lol, glad to see your swinging towards my way of thinking with the 980 :p It truly is a badass of a card! Keep posting what kinda results you get in other games too!  And I got screwed in a very similar way by Scan lol. When I bought my Corsair SSD from the shop, they had an offer with it for a free copy of Acronis True Image. So when I opened it up and there was no code or anything, I e-mailed and got an almost identical response, the cheap buggers!

    The PC Thread

Oh I can see them lol, what I mean is I can't see the rest of the card :p That's all good then, I'd say just test on your spare or your bros PC to see if the noise still happens. Awesome, might have to stick some overclocking on mine to see if it helps at all with FC4 lol. You should deffo get even higher FPS in other games though :)

I might not see it lit up, but I'll still see the part that's supposed to be lit up :p Such a strange problem dude, and if that's the attitude their customer service take... Jesus, not good. If a company replied to me with that I'd record the sound, send it to them and ask what the bloody hell the noise coming from their product was then lol. Don't have a spare PSU about do you? I might have a Corsair CX750M floating about if you want it? Just gotta hunt around and see if I can find it lol. Got my old HX850 as my spare so it wouldn't be a problem

It's too dark! :p Use flash lol. Best thing might be to e-mail be quiet and ask them about it bud. Mention tipping the PSU and the noise going and everything. Another question, I guess you have your PSU fan down? Is the noise there when the fan is up?

Oh for christ's sake. Bugger you Rockstar, absolute piss take. GTA V PC delayed until March 24th 2015. Been really looking forward to it and putting off buying the X1 version, now of course this happens. Bloody typical.

Very strange dude, not something I've run into or experienced in that way :\ What make of PSU is it? Deffo post a pic! Wanna see that bad boy all lit up lol.

Your bum makes the strangest from the sounds of it :p  I did have something similar, and I still do when I'm playing games (gets a lot worse the higher the FPS. Like some intro screens *ahem FC4 ahem* give me somewhere between 1000 an 2000 fps and the noise goes crazy) but I just put it down to high pitched coil whine. If it's happening even at idle though then there's something weird  about that... Keep me updated bud.

It won't be that long, as they release it every two years ;) I just pray it has more track than 5, car count was fine for me. Would also like dynamic weather and night racing, even the first Forza had night racing. So it'll probably be sometime around October/November I'm guessing? Car count was good, but the circuits definitely need more added. Dynamic weather is a must for me too, gets kinda boring always racing in sunny conditions lol. Plus they need to spice up the career mode, it felt a bit flat and a bit boring at times on 5.
