Poor feeling of driving? Can't take those corners? well...
RevolvingPrawn replied to hyjal's topic in General Discussion
Nah, none of those cheat setups for me :p Usually running 5-3 on balance, 1-1 ride height, and 5/8-4/6 on stiffness. I didn't think to try the advanced settings so I'll give that a go when I'm home, otherwise I'd be up for trying 1.0 and 1.1 :) -

Unfortunately, that was something that made me dislike the mod. Through the lower speed corners it's great, Nouvelle chicane at Monaco can finally be driven properly rather than massively understeering through it. But the twitchiness of the car on a straight just really put me off :( Had to go back to the standard CM handling in the end. Keep up the good work though! It's clear you've put a lot of time and effort into it :) -
So does this mean my place in @Lukedfrt's bath is now at jeopardy?

Looks like a pretty good mod! I'll definitely give it a try :) Always thought CM's handling was a bit too heavy and understeery through the slower corners, but that onboard lap of Monaco looks a lot closer to how responsive the real cars are there. -
Fair enough, the clothes he wears and the gold chains/diamond earrings and all that really aren't something I like, but if that's the style he chooses to wear then that's up to him. But personally I don't choose a role model based on appearance alone. The things I listed above about his character are enough for me to say that he's a very positive role model, and if anybody turns out like him then they're certainly on the right track :)

In the way that he's humble, appreciative, never forgets to include his family and tries to involve them as much as he can, remembers where he came from, and gives huge amounts of his time to meet fans to thank them for their support and make them happy? I'd happily tell my kids to look up to him as a role model. He's a much better person to look up to than say a bunch of drugged up attention grabbing pop stars like Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Etc. Etc.

Grief Reporting for Online Multiplayer

Believe it or not, a league isn't all that time consuming :p About an hour and a half each Tuesday evening for me, which is time I'd spend gaming after work anyway so it slots in nicely. Plus you're part of a championship, and you're actually driving for something rather than nothing. In the time you take waiting for a custom lobby to fill up, you could have qualified and already started the race with a league ;) But each to their own! If that's what works for you then good, any way to get a decent race with clean drivers is worth the time invested I'd say. -

There is another solution... Join a couple of leagues. Any trouble makers get thrown out, and the guys you race with are there purely for clean racing, any ramming gets looked upon as grounds for expulsion from the league. I've had some of the most awesome, exciting, close, and clean racing I've ever come across that way, so much so that I just don't venture into the public lobbies any more and only race the guys I've met from the league :) Plus there's quite a few out there so you should be able to find a handful that'll match your needs. -

Which platform do you play the game on? You should be able to either block the player or give them a bad review. I'm not sure how it works on PSN, but on XBL a bad player review means you're unlikely to be put into a lobby with him again. -
Oh, dammit... Sign it anyway! It's awesome how the original petition had 48,000 sigs for the ban, and this one has 60,000 lol. Target/K-mart have to ban something with that many sigs!

This is one for @Matthew77258, @onetwothree, and @couger1981! Get the bible banned in retaliation for GTA V :p http://www.cnet.com/news/grand-theft-auto-fans-ban-the-bible/

Naming and shaming is against forum rules bud, leave your video up but it might be a good idea to edit that PSN name out of your post. Unfortunately though, things like that have been happening in just about every online racing game, probably since online racing began. You just gotta anticipate it and play them at their own game. One of my favourite things to do is pull alongside someone who waits for the leaders, then brake hard and watch as they swing across to where I had been and take themselves out ;) -
That's kinda how I figured it would be from looking at the vids of it. Thanks for the reply bud, reckon I'll put it off for now and wait to see how much content gets added on the way to final release :)

See my edit ;)

Haven't bought it yet :p It was a confused face ;) Edit: Oh! The dog! Nah, he looks regal and rather "Would you like another crumpet, dear?" lol.

@Hughesy Thoughts on Wreckfest (Next Car Game)? It's half price atm, thinking about getting it, the damage model looks great, but I can't see much else that makes it stand out though :s

It actually looks like she stole Lewis Hamiltons earrings in that photo.

Wehrlein would absolutely be a worthy winner too, he was so awesome in the trucks dude! But Coulthard only losing once over the whole weekend, that's some fantastic racing :) Plus I've been hoping for him to win since his second in 2008 so this is awesome for me! Wehrlein will have more chances in the future though, while Coulthard is a bit long in the tooth!

Yes! Coulthard!!! :D

Kurt Busch has just confirmed that NASCAR drivers really can't turn right.

Hey, this isn't a lolling matter :p How she's even considered an F1 driver is beyond me. Her career results have been well below average, and the fact that she's never won a race at any point in her car career, and has only twice ever finished inside the top 10 in a championship speaks volumes to me. There are so many drivers out there who are deserving of the position she occupies, but, and she can deny it and claim her place is on merit all she wants, a pretty smile and a pair of tits is good for marketing I suppose. I'm not against a female driver being in F1, not at all,I'm against a driver with an awful record being given a chance that much more talented drivers aren't.

Overrated: Susie Wolff Underrated: David Coulthard

For me though, the fact that twice this race drivers had suspension failure from bumping over the damn sausages says they need to be shaved down at least. And for Sam Bird, soon as he bumped the sausage he had no chance of saving the car, seems pretty unfair in my book.
