Because Hamilton has yet again put him in a position where Rosberg either decides to crash or get out of the way. The point Rosberg was trying to make in Spa was that people shouldn't get out of your way just because you're Lewis Hamilton. But the fact is, he should have gotten out of the way because the car ahead had the line and that is the rule regardless of who is ahead! How many other drivers have done the same thing in the past? You're only bitching about it now because it's Hamilton. -

Why is Tossberg turning away from Hamilton? Clearly going against his nature. -

Left the door open, so he t-boned his car, nice. Button left the entry to the corner open, the closed it on apex and exit. What's Hamilton supposed to do? Disappear? -

Vettel was a lot further ahead of Hamilton going into the braking point. I disagree. What driver, especially F1, would knowingly force an accident/collision? It just doesn't make sense. People keep spinning words to suit there needs. He didn't intentionally hit Hamilton. He didn't purposefully cause the crash. He simply didn't back down from Hamilton. And good on him for that. Racing means paying attention to your surroundings. Nico clearly challenged the outside, didn't have the line, and braked in an attempt to cut behind Hamilton for the next corner. He literally misjudged his attempt to get behind Hamilton by 2-3 inches. Inches. At those speeds, and the cost of not only materials but PR issues (as we're seeing), no sane driver would purposefully cause a collision that would damage their own car... Hamilton was given a drive-through penalty at Singapore 2011 for doing the exact same thing to Massa. So I can only ask why was Rosberg not? -

Wasn't it Vettel and Alonso who really screwed Kimi in Germany? :p -

No, the team can blame Rosberg. The golden rule is don't hit your teammate, Rosberg willingly broke that rule. I don't see how the team are to blame for letting their drivers RACE. What do you want them to do? Use team orders every race so there's no collisions? Just a few races ago Mercedes were being praised for letting their drivers race, now you're having a go at them for it? -
Great interview! Loved his enthusiasm and positivity about the features and capabilities, and how they've kept it so open to get direct input from fans. Watching that and the lap that Platy posted has made me even more excited for it! Can't wait to get into some league racing :D

I really think Rosberg was right to do that though. Deliberately hit him , no , but Lewis gives people the option to either collide or give way every time in his overtakes. He has to learn that not everyone will do that for him. Plus , Lewis is mentally weak so this will probably rattle him a bit. I really can't agree bud, Hamilton was within the rules, Rosberg wasn't. Rosberg cost the team a possible 1-2 finish, certainly cost them the win. And he's not coming across as mentally weak, in fact there were comments on Twitter after the race that Hamilton seemed very calm and collected, while Rosberg seemed to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. And personally, I'd have ripped into Rosberg in the post-race interview, so when he didn't and he was actually really even about the whole thing, if was a surprise to me. -

Well I'd say the only person he's made look like an idiot is himself :p And if that is the case then he's still broken the rules. The car in front has no obligation to leave space until the car behind is halfway alongside, Rosberg wasn't, and has just admitted that he wasn't gonna move, so in my eyes that's penalty worthy. -

110% yes I cannot see them keeping this going for another year. 110% No :p I hear Alonso is looking at his options for next season ;) He was actually talking with Red Bull last night :p Well with the 0.5 that Alonso brings to any team, Alonso WDC 2015 ;) No, Mercedes will suddenly stop performing and his 0.5 will get him a million 5th places. And he'd still be ahead of Kimi ;) Who won the championship at Ferrari? Who's 11-1 up? :p -

Well well well. This is gonna be interesting! I imagine there's maybe part of it that's been blown out of proportion, but if it's completely true... -

I dunno man. He was too aggressive, that's undeniable, but they'd all have done the same in that group (maybe other than Button). Fair enough on giving him a penalty, but 20 seconds is too harsh, maybe a 5 place grid drop for Monza would have been better? He got 2 penalty points as well. Dave, he pushed Alonso on the grass while doing 320+ at Kemmel straight, it was a desreved one. And now, let the fireworks start https://twitter.com/willbuxton/status/503566128166494208 Well Alonso knows how to handle that after Vettel pushed him onto the grass at Monza ;) I'm sure they penalised Vettel for that but I can't remember what it was? Definitely not a good move from Magnussen, but had it happened with some of the drivers lower down the field I don't think his penalty would have been so harsh. Lol! It'd be amazing if that's true, but I'll bet it's just a rumour :p -

48. Could have been more without lap 2, and without Magnussens pen. -

I'd say Grosjean. He more than deserves a competitive seat, and I'm just hoping Williams can keep up these performances with the car. -

Just to correct Suzi Perry: Williams signed Rob Smedley and unfortunately he brought Felipe along with him. -

I'm hoping Rosberg goes into Abu Double with 49 points, crashes at the start and Lewis wins. Would be poetic justice. -

My race review... Ricciardo is a babe. Rosberg is a dick. Bottas will win races one day. Raikkonen will suck again at the next race. Vettel started in front of Ricciardo and finished 52 seconds behind, but his warning moves on K-Mag were great. K-Mag's defense was maybe too much but still finished well. Button's helmet is pink. Alonso is still brilliant but his hit on Vettel was dumb. Perez was he even shown on TV? Kvyat was solid as usual. Hulkenberg, seriously did anyone see a Force India shown on TV? JEV MEH. Massa, Bottas is faster than you. Sutil, who? Gutierrez, who? Chilton should be given a Mercedes. Ericsson only beat Bianchi cause Bianchi had a puncture. Bianchi, unlucky. Hamilton, I get why he wanted to retire the car, but needs to man up about it. Bitchslap Rosberg in the garage please. Grosjean really needs to move to a better team. Maldonado retiring basically removed any chance of a safety car. Lotterer, disappointed the car broke and we didn't get to see what he could do. Lol at the boos for Rosberg.
