    I preordered that game :p

  2. Don't know whether your Watchdogs has arrived yet @Revolvingprawn  but my copy arrived today haven'yt tried it yet though but I'llget round to at least installing it today even if I don't play it. :D
Won't find out till I'm home from work :p Probably won't get to play much of it tonight anyway though, got a league race on F1 2013 and some other bits to sort after that. Might get an hour in before I gotta go to bed lol.
yeah busy with my motor racing games at the moment as well practicing for when Autosport comes :D
It's here :) Getting it installed now so I don't have to do it later lol.

I am worried for Sauber, great team and have given many good drivers their break into F1 such as Massa, Raikkonen, Heidfeld etc.
Both drivers now behind Ericsson as well. What are the chances of Haas buying Sauber? Already has everything in place.

I really do hope Kvyat wins stuff, the Russian anthem is awesome.

For next season, what are the chances of Hulkenberg to McLaren, Bianchi to Force India?
Sure Haas ruled out buying a team a month or so ago. Think he's planning running the operation out of the US for whatever reason

Haas is using his already existing facilities in the US, which makes sense because it'd probably be a pain in the ass moving everything to Europe.
But by doing that he's making every single race a fly away race
Yea, and that'd be a major pain in the haarse ;)

Shut up @mike96, you love them :p

  5. No worries bud, it's kinda fun looking at PC parts and comparing them so it's all good :)
The R7 ain't bad at all, a good budget card and it'll handle most games so you should be set for a while with it. And Sapphire are also a pretty good brand :)

That site is indeed reliable, I bought my Corsair case and a bunch of other bits from them. Plus the R7 is around £25 more on some other sites :p

Yep, the EVGA one is perfect for your system, and it leaves you a bit of freedom for future upgrades :)

I'll go with £90 and do some looking about for you shortly :)
    Ok thanks mate :)
Ok, had a good look around, did a load of comparisons, and came out with 2 GPU's for you :p

If you want an AMD card, I'd say not to bother with the 7750 or the 7770, go for one of these as it outperforms both of the 7000 series cards :)
    http://www.cclonline.com/product/134755/11222-06-20G/Graphics-Cards/Sapphire-Radeon-R7-260X-Overclocked-2GB-Graphics-Card-PCI-E-DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort/VGA2199/

I looked at Nvidia cards too, and the closest I found was an  EVGA GTX 750, but honestly, that R7 260X was better in the important ways :)

    Hope that helps!

@RevolvingPrawn - Thanks for the help. So this is my motherboard. So if I bought the PSU you recommended, where can I find a cheap, certified Graphics card that is in the 7000 series AMD Radeon? A 7750 or something like that?
Ok, you definitely need 4+4 pin for that one bud. The CiT PSU you linked would have only had half the connection you need to power your CPU.

As for the GPU, when you say cheap how much do you mean? If you tell me the maximum you'd want to spend I'll have a look around :)

  8. I've just made some cash. Rank these games in order of which I should get first: Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs, Autosport, Tropico 5.
Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein, Autosport, Tropico 5.
Tropico looks much better than that
    Better than what? :p

I've had a chance to play Watch Dogs for about 30 mins, and it's awesome! Gunplay feels great, the open world has stuff happening constantly, it's a lot like GTA V only more interactive and with a more realistic feel.
Didn't have a chance to play any missions though, my friend wouldn't let me spoil them for him :p The driving felt a bit off, just kinda weird, you get used to it pretty quickly though. Strangely enough, I found myself driving much more realisticlly, like stopping at red lights and only overtaking when there was no oncoming cars. On GTA V I've always been like 'Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!' and crashing constantly.
The best thing was finding a motorbike, and whizzing about preventing random street crime. Felt a bit like Batman with his coat billowing out like a cape on the bike and the info and hacks the phone gives you :p

Wolfenstein is just non-stop Nazi slaughtering badassery. Autosport is hopefully gonna be as good as the original game. Tropico... Top down games where you build things just don't appeal to me. Anything like RTS games just get repetitive and boring within an hour or two. There's not really a whole lot of wiggle room for anyting different to happen.

  9. @AMS97KRR It would be a straight swap, but I really wouldn't recommend either of them. Neither is certified, and as far as I can tell the CiT is only 30 amps split over 2 rails. It has a 6 pin PCI-E but I honestly wuldn't trust that to power a GPU properly. I wouldn't trust that PSU to do anything properly.

The best thing for you to do, spend about £9 extra on one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-500B-BRONZE-Power-Supply/dp/B00DZ6R9GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401112101&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+500w

It's 80+ Bronze rated, has 40 amps on a single rail, has more SATA power links, and has 2x 6 pin PCI-E. So if you decided to go higher than the 7750 (which I don't think needs a 6 pin anyway) you'd be sorted. Most cards above the 7750 will need at least one 6 pin. Plus EVGA are well known for high quality products, CiT stuff looks flashy, but it's really not great in the end.
Best way to put it, EVGA are Waitrose, CiT is Lidl.

Oh and one other thing, what motherboard do you have? If you did go with the CiT one, it only has a 4 pin 12v cable. The Coolermaster you're replacing has a 4+4 12v. So if your motherboard needs the 4+4 then that CiT PSU wouldn't do the job.

  10. So Bianchi has double the points of Maldonado. Does Pastor still think moving to Lotus was the best decision he's ever made?

2/0 != 1... Technically, Bianchi has infinite times more points than Maldonado! All we need now is points for Chilton!

Does anyone see Sauber getting 9th back? Not without some luck, IMO, their driver line-up is appalling!

Also, these titles are quite funny...

    Rosberg - "We're always friends"

    Hamilton - "We're not friends"

Game on! Rosberg in the driving seat!

Chilton doesn't need points, the fact that he's finished every F1 race he's done makes him better than Maldonado :p

I don't see how Hamilton 'lost his head'. He was within a second of Rosberg for the majority of the race, could have indeed jumped him if the team had called him in a lap earlier, and only lost time because he had something in his eye.
No losing of the head involved in any of that.

    Also, I laughed at Vettel's problems :p
Pitting before the SC came out would actually be a disadvantage. Think about it. The pit lane loss is the same whether there is a safety car or not, because the speed limiter is the same no matter what. The speed on track isn't though. If Hamilton had pitted a lap earlier Rosberg would be flying round at full pace while he did so. But under the safety car, Rosberg would be pitting while Hamilton would have to stick to the safety car limits, hence losing time.

Australia 2012 was a good example of it in effect. Hamilton pitted a lap before a safety car came out with Vettel in 3rd. When the safety car came out and Vettel pitted, he gained the place because Hamilton was force to cruise round at the safety car's speed limits. It's just common sense and commentators never seem to spot it for some reason.

Anyway, on him losing his head I was referring to his radio after the pit stop. Thinking the team are conspiring against him after one call goes against against him (although as I mention above, would've actually made no difference).

The reason I'm thinking it might have worked, is that the safety car board didn't come out until they were halfway round the next lap. But as Tommig says about Button, I guess it wouldn't actually have given him an advantage. Ah well, would have been interesting if they had at least tried it! :)

As for the radio call, I still wouldn't call that losing his head. Frustration and a little anger, definitely, but I think there's a handful of drivers on the grid that probably would have reacted the same. Vettel being one, his angry radio messages were amazing :p

Have to disagree here. If the team had indeed decided that pitting was the best option, they'd have brought Nico in as well. Lead driver gets the call.
Very true. Wonder what would have happened had Hamilton just driven into the pits anyway? :p

From Hamilton's comments about the team having one strategist compared to the 2 that McLaren have, it'd make the season more interesting for Merc to give each driver their own strategist.
