@Hughesy Our tickets for Silverstone have just shown up! :) -
Ummmm, that's a really really dodgy position for them to be in lol. I suppose it is called 'doggy style' though. -

Also that mashed potato was clearly rendered by a PC ;) Here's how it looks when a PS4 or X1 tries to do the same :p

@PeteTheDuck And in my opinion editing my post wasn't needed. The person who reported messaged me why they did and it's a fair and legit reason. But I'd like to point out the fact that I do happen to own an Xbox One. And that sometimes people with the power to edit other's posts are far too OTT when it comes to editing them.
FREE SPEECH! (which wasn't hurting anyone)

Maybe editing post's and moderating when in a bad mood isn't such a good idea? Clearly a butthurt console player defending his potato that reported the post.fIsince08 said:

Consoles are potato's, a high end PC is like a chocolate gateau made by Gordon Ramsay. -

Still far from ideal for me though. Seems the game will unlock around noon for us on the 1st, but of course I'll be at work and will only be able to start the download around 5:30pm. If it's like around 30GB it could take up to 2 or more hours to download and I won't get much time on it really. Thinking I may setup TeamViewer for that day and start the download remotely from work lol.Hughesy said:@RevolvingPrawn No preload option for MGSV, not a problem for us with very fast broadband, but that is going to suck for a lot of people. Kinda rediculous for a AAA not to have a preload option...

I'm thinking I'll be sticking with what I've got for quite some time to come yet (still bloody well paying chunks of it off haha!). My CPU is still pretty damn quick, and my GPU's are still giving me better performance than the best single GPU solution right now so I'm happy :) And very much hoping that most devs decide to take advantage of the GPU memory pooling that DX12 offers ;)
@AMS97KRR Give cdkeys.com a go as well bud, some of their prices are astonishingly good. Like they have Mad Max for under £14 yet it isn't actually released until September 4th in the UK :) -
Let me put it this way bud, a 12 fps jump in Crysis 3 for less than a tenner makes it a lot better ;) But yea, Nvidia drivers and ShadowPlay will always make it worth getting one of their cards over AMD. Plus less heat and less power usage like Hughesy said :)AMS97KRR said:Ok, fair enough, I didn't really know how many cores is considered good enough :p GPU is only a little better but I guess being Nvidia makes it worthwhile.
And yeah, I've used G2A before, I didn't think to look on there for W7, so that is a good idea.
And yeah that was a mistake actually haha, didn't notice that. Thanks for that :)
Glad you're willing to use the key shop for the OS dude, talked to quite a few people who worry about using them but out of the numerous things I've bought from them before I've always received the key I bought :)
And no trouble ;) I used the Neos for my grandma's PC too and just wanted to make sure you weren't gonna get a fan that wouldn't be useful to you. -
At times like this I'd join you, but I refuse to play something where after buying the game you then have to pay for a server lol. -
3 things stuck out to me. 1. CPU is dual core which isn't really enough these days. 2. GPU for about £10 more you could get something a lot better, and something which is Nvidia instead of AMD ;) And 3. You can get a copy of W7 for much less than that.
So slightly edited part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZwhpsY
And I left W7 off the list because you can pick it up under £20 here: http://www.g2play.net/category/13816/windows-7-professional-oem-key-sp1/
(and yes it's legit, I bought a W7 key from them myself for my grandma's PC and it's all good)
But I'd also say this key would be more worth the money: http://www.g2play.net/category/16097/windows-8-professional-retail-key/
So it ends up being around £20-£25 more expensive, but it's worth it.
Edit: Oh and something else, you're gonna wanna take out that 140mm Corsair fan bud, make it another 120mm. The Neos only supports 120mm fans. -
Ohhhhhhhh yea B)

Exactly! Also just some other random stuff, it could totally rip off other popular media, like it blatantly needs the Holy Hand Grenade from Worms, and this guys cross/shotgun in From Dusk Till Dawn. Christ quite clearly needs a shotgun cross.Hughesy said:Dave has finally lost it :joy: Now if Ubisoft use it then you could claim royalties :p

Sounds like Mr Arai has been hitting the Sake a little too hard. -
Guys. I have come up with something epic and wonderful and it's something I should be paid a lot of money for. I've figured out the next Far Cry game. And this is the opening scene.
You awake with a burning pain in your side, you can't see anything in the darkness surrounding you, and there is only rocks and rubble underneath you. You cast your mind back wondering how you arrived in such a place and realise that you were betrayed, one of your friends turned their back on you, and it ended up with your death. Or at least it seemed like your death.
Clearly as you are now conscious, breathing, and in pain you must be alive. As your eyes adjust to the darkness you notice a small yellow flickering coming from a narrow thin gap nearby. As you investigate you notice a hissing noise coming from the same spot. Maybe it's a way out, or maybe the sound is flowing water to quench your cracked lips and salty throat. As you scrabble around in the dark your hand closes around a small ring as if guided there by unseen forces. You pull on the ring with all the strength remaining in your body, and up swings a trapdoor.
As it swings open the light from numerous burning torches set into the walls of an underground tunnel momentarily blind you, and the hissing sound becomes much louder. You take a moment, letting your eyes adjust to the piercing fire, wondering who must have lit the torches and where the tunnel leads. It doesn't matter though, it's a way out. You drop down into the tunnel and make your way toward the hissing sound. A short way along a new sound fills your eyes, and it's coming from behind you... As you turn you can see a large shape, filling the tunnel from side to side and from floor to ceiling, heading right towards you at high speed. It's a perfectly rounded boulder, and you have no choice but to run away down the tunnel.
After what feels like an eternity of fleeing, the tunnel ends. There's no way forward, only a drop into a dimly lit pit, too dimly lit to see anything but a small section of ground around 30 feet below. And the hissing noise, the hissing is louder now than at any other time in the short while you've occupied this hellhole. You have no choice, you jump. As you hit the ground you realise the giant boulder that was chasing you is going to drop, and if you don't move then it's game over man. You roll backwards just hoping there is still solid ground there, and there is, in fact the ground is somewhat squishy, and wriggly. At that moment the giant boulder slams into the ground in the spot you occupied only moments before. The boulder, still propelled by it's inertia, disappears into the darkness ahead, careening on it's way, and thankfully, away from you. It's at that moment you notice the ground is moving around below you...
The hissing is all around you. You jump to your feet, slip on what feels like a rubbery length of rope, and fall down only to find a snake arching itself up in front of your face, getting ready to strike. You can feel other snakes starting to wrap themselves around your wrists, ankles, bicep. You must struggle back to the dimly lit area to fend them off. In a fit of rage you pull yourself up and fight your way through the snakes to the torch on the wall. As you get closer it becomes clear that the force of the boulder smashing into the ground has created a hole, and beneath that hole is a fast flowing underground river. Snakes? Or a torrent which may or may not take you away from this madness? You scrabble through the hole and fall for what feels an age before splashing heavily into the water. After being tossed and turned, scraping your head on the ceiling trying to gasp for air, there is finally a light in the direction you are heading. Finally you may be out of the hell the darkness held. Seconds later you are weightless, falling in bright sunshine and landing in a small but deep pool below.
As you wearily head for the edge, ragged, bleeding, unrecognizable, and drag yourself up, one thought is beginning to fill your mind. I must have revenge, I must destroy the man who did this to me, who betrayed me and let me be nailed to a cross and left to die. You stand up, and on the horizon is a town. Bethlehem. And Judas must die.

This is my chair, it's a lot softer than the pic shows it being, and it's pretty damn comfortable for long periods of time. Only 2 drawbacks with it for me. It doesn't lean back quite as far as I want it too, probably missing between 5 and 10 degrees but I like to lean really far back compared to most people, and I'm picky lol. And on days where it's really warm with it being leather your back, bum, and thighs can get uncomfortably hot. Otherwise it's probably the best desk chair I've ever owned. It the kind of chair where if you've been sat at a dinner table or in a car for a while before hand, when you get home and sit in it it's like melting into a comfy glove lol.

I looked at the forecast for today yesterday, it said thunderstorms, heavy rain, very windy. It's mild, a little grey, not even slightly windy, no rain at all. -
My guess would be that he's either replacing Crofty for the Sky F1 commentary team, or he's been offered a paid job to write articles about F1 (both would be pretty damn sweet!).mike96 said:fIsince08 said:
Ah but there's another reason on top of that which will be revealed soon ;)VetteIfan said:
Not to be a bad influence, but the first year of Uni is just a giant p*ss up. With a bit of work in between. You would've been fine to run the game alongside that, but I'm sure afrodude will do a great job as well :pfIsince08 said:Ok guys, I'm going to say this now to give you plenty warning.
I won't be able to continue running the game after this season due to something that's happening, and the fact that I'll be at uni next year. If you're interested in taking over then PM me about it :)
Hmm, are you getting married? :p
Or he's going to Uni in India so that he can pose as Mr and Mrs Rohan already grown up child, but because the internet out there is patchy at best he may not be able to run the predictor game properly ;)
