  1. It was indeed watchable, and again I'd say you were right to take the line that you did. The AI just straightlined the curb and mashed into you. You'd already won the corner, you were ahead through both, you braked at the right point for the right hander, and it's as if the AI didn't and used you as his brake instead. And he barely seemed effected by the curb, had that been you or I hitting it we'd have been well off into the grass on the left. Yet his car touches back down instantly and doesn't lose traction or grip at all.

If I'd seen that from 2 players and was stewarding over it, I'd have given him a penalty for not taking care to avoid a collision ;)

  2. No, by my own words the car behind is the one who has the responsibility to avoid contact, I was ahead going into the corner despite a small stretch where my left wheels were on grass. Therefore the hit through Brundle, the left hander, is the fault of the AI.

Definitely the curb though bud, the contact itself wasn't a problem, and like I said I kinda enjoy it because it makes the AI feel more lifelike and that's never a bad thing :) But if they aren't affected by stuff like the curb in the same way the player is then that's what I call cheating ;)

  3. I think you'd find I'm one of the cleanest racers out there if you were to race me, I'll give you a good fight but I'll do everything I can to avoid contact with another racer. And if I did hit you I'd glad stop and let you back past in the interest of fairness. You're welcome to ask any of the guys who I league race with about my standards, and I'd think the fact that they made me a steward shows that I'm not a dirty racer. @Hughesy could back me up on this seeing as he and I have raced each other a bunch of times.

And no room on the right hander? There was plenty going in, but when the AI is on the grass and there isn't a car on circuit next to me then why shouldn't I use the whole width of the circuit? The fact remains, going into the corner my rear wheels were ahead of his front wheels, putting the responsibility of avoiding contact on him as the car behind.

What you seem to be missing though is I'm not saying the AI ramming techniques are cheating, I actually kinda like it because it's what I'd expect racing randomers. What I'm calling cheating is the fact that the sausage curb had no real effect on his grip or traction, yet had that been my car bumping over that thing, the physics of the game would have screwed me. Just seems unfair that the AI can get away with things that a player can't.

  4. I almost had that happen to me. All I did when it asked to pay up was say no and try 5 seconds later.
Tried that dude, didn't work for me :(

So you ended up getting a lot more than us for that heist then :joy: Really enjoyed that one though.
Around 130,000 more ;) Wasn't really expecting Rockstar to actually give me that much lol.

  5. Had a random issue on GTA last night where my progress on one of the heists disappeared and I had to pay the 54,000 buy in fee for a second time, only for my progress to then return... E-mailed Rockstar about it and they've given me 150,000 in game credits as compensation lol. So on a heist where my take was 189,000 plus another 100,000 for it being the first time I'd done it, plus the 150,000 from Rockstar, then minus the 108,000 I paid on buy in, I made 331,000 on GTA Online last night lol :)

  6. That's the one Chris. Unfortunately that's still not the whole thing, think the only way we'll see that is to find a full copy of the race :/

From what I remember the tyre bounced over a barrier and just carried on going lol, took ages for it to actually stop. Thankfully though it didn't come anywhere near hitting anyone.

  7. Very true on that lol. Talking of which, and I hate to say it, but I kinda have a sneaky feeling that when Rossi and Marquez had their coming together in Argentina, it may have been slightly deliberate from Rossi after Marquez had just barged into him with his bike. It's Rossi's quick look back right before the incident that makes me think it lol.

Definitely impressive that he stayed on though, I swear the move he made on Iannone that finally got him past was because he nearly came off and he wen't for the inside so he didn't hit him. Pretty good stuff, and good race either way :)

  8. Iannone was my hero today :p The battle he gave Marquez was fantastic! I love it though how when he fights other guys he's pretty respectful of them, then Marquez comes along and he takes the gloves off :)

Good result though, happy with a Yamaha 1-2 but I wish Rossi had been on top :p

Lol that's awesome, look at all Moving about when he takes off, should've added some struts :joy:  Makes me feel inadequate lol.
Lol, this one makes me feel inadequate :p How this guy can do this lol.

  10. Crappy quality, but that tyre is nowhere close to him unless he's a giant who makes F1 tyres look small.

Or you could just watch the crash again (and ignore the music) and see that the tyre is nowhere near him in the pic, and just bounces along the barrier when it does get anywhere near close to him. Clearly you weren't watching that closely Chris ;)

It's great hearing how a Vettel fan felt last season, many non Vettel fans felt the exact same way from 2011 to 2013 ;) Long may Mercedes dominate!
Lol. You can't really complain about 2012 though, that was a genuinely good year for F1. Although you may be enjoying it right now, and you have every right too, 2014 was probably a negative year for F1. Outsiders looking in would probably get bored of Mercedes domination, much like 2011 and 2013's second half.
It was a great year right up until Vettel was gifted the positions he needed for the 3rd WDC. After that it became a heartbreak lol :p

It might have been, but for me having a different team out front was what made 2014 a good season to me bud, I'd gotten sick of the level of domination RB had gotten to. A key difference too though is when Red Bull were always winning, it'd wouldn't be "Red Bull will win again", it was "Vettel will win again". At least now it's "Mercedes will win again" because they have 2 drivers capable of it, and it isn't just a 1 horse race.
