  1. All good points, but surely a good driver can drive around a car that doesn't properly suit him? I can't help but think had Alonso, Hamilton or Raikkonen been in Webber's seat between 2010 and 2013, that Vettel would only have half the championships he currently does. And that's even if Red Bull had been making the car to suit Vettel in that time.

  2. The only FIFA game i liked was FIFA 2001.
FIFA 2004 for me. Too many memories of awesome things that happened the summer my friends and I got stuck into that game. We used to do 2v2 matches and always argue about who played as Arsenal because Dennis Bergkamp could curl a shot into goal from any angle :)

Does anyone else find it ironic that Mercedes are throwing the book at Red Bull for "breaking the rules" after they did the same thing with Testgate last year?
    Classic F1-hypocrism.
Tbf to Merc, Red Bull did the same to them on testgate. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember Helmut Marko saying Merc should be dq'd from the WCC, and Christian Horner saying something like "They broke the rules and they should pay the price". So well done Merc for getting one back in on Red Bull :p
  4. Thank you my dear Herby :p That's deffo another reason for it, I'm still gutted that GZ and TPP aren't planned for PC but at least I'll have a console capable of playing them both with decent enough graphics.

Have you seen anyone play it on 360? Jagged lines, blurred details, major fps drops and it just ruins the entire experience :(
  5. And the award for most ridiculously long signature goes to, Jiggy! ;)

Tbh, I can't see this as a bad thing for Ferrari. Domenicali has always been like an Italian Whitmarsh to me, so I'm hoping that Mattiacci can come in, and with a different set of talents and experience change things up a bit.
Firstly ,sorry I huit the off topic button instead of the quote button.

Mattiacci has no F1 experience whatsoever.
My guess is Domenicali is tiredof being LdM's scapegoat and walked out , and this guy is a temporary solution before they can get Brawn or maybe even Briatore.
You should be able to click it again and it'll undo it. Failing that, if you click on one of the other things, it'll switch over :)

I know, but since you mention him, neither did Briatore :p He actually used to work for the Benetton clothing brand, and apparently even stated he had no interest in Formula 1. He wasn't involved in any kind of motorsport at all until the founder of Benetton put him into his F1 team :p And the rest is history!

So don't write off Mattiacci just yet ;)
I know but that was the 90's . F1 isn't like that anymore. My point was Ferrari needs someone ruthless like Brawn or Briatore. I'll refrain from judging him yet , but I get the feeling he'll be Domenicali v2.0. All I'll say is Alonso's talent has been wasted and no matter ow badly I wan't him to win a 3rd WDC , I can't see that happening if this guy is Domenicali v2.0. Like I said though , I'll wait and see before judging.
No it's not, it's even more like a business now so it'd suit a business minded man even more these days ;) Thing is, we can't predict what this guy is gonna be like, none of us have actually ever seen or heard of him before. So deffo can't judge him until we've seen him in the job for at least a few races.

  7. Lol, it's mainly for the exclusives! I wanna play Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3, plus when Destiny comes out it won't be on PC and it's a game I'm massively excited about :p
And once F1 2014 comes out, most of the guys in the league I race in will be playing on Xbox One so I want it so I can keep racing with them. And I like racing these guys, made some friends out of it so I don't wanna join a different league to play the PC version.

My PC is still gonna be my main machine though, cheaper games and it's a beast! ;)

Oh and another thing, gonna trade my 360 version of Ground Zeroes and get the X1 version when I pick up the console, can't stand how bad it looks on the 360. Does that make it a little better? :D
  8. Red Bull are sabotaging his pants? :p

Tbh, I think now we're seeing Vettel in a car that's near enough equal to others around him, and he's currently not doing as well as his less experienced team-mate and it's great.
To me it's showing that he isn't the best driver as a lot of people have been saying the last few years, it's showing that he's talented but not more so than any other driver and that he took full advantage of having a car that consistently had a half second advantage.

It's also showing that Mark Webber really was kinda rubbish :p
