  1. Installed the complete edition then uninstalled the vanilla version.  Still have my original saved profile & settings etc leftover, but don't know where the new save folder is.  The new install is not picking up my old profile.

    Unsubscribing from a thread

How do I do it? thanks joe
  3. Fraps says constant 60fps (vsync on), but panning background occasionally judders/stutters.  Thought I had it sorted as a bug by disabling gamepad vibration, but it came back.  Does this with my 670 and a mates 970.  Shame as we would have ordered a 4pack for some multi-player fun.
  4. Just watched this video by VVV Automotive and noticed the flashing smoke at the start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzJfmvGXP7c#t=154 Is this an early build and now sorted for release version....CM?
  5. http://blog.codemasters.com/grid/07/grid-autosport-a-note-on-future-content/ Good to read about the confirmed future inclusion of a virtual mirror (PC at least).  Now we need the 'chat' :)

How do you load racenet stuff up from in-game?.  If I click on it in the menu it only asks if I want to unlink my account from the game profile (or words to that effect).
  7. Just copied the 'devicesetup' and 'effectsetup from Grid 2/forcefeedback folder over the respective files in Autosport, and though it hasn't seemed to make any difference on effects feel as such, it definitely delivers a smoother and more accurate feel to the steering, as apposed to the meandering and 'gritty' turning I was getting before. I thought this might be useful for anyone else, as I know I'm not the only one to have complained about it. Remember to back up your original files first.

    'Virtual' Mirror?

@Loore As I understand it, the mirrors in cockpit view are none working, but do we at least get (the option of) a 'virtual' mirror ? - especially important for online play I would have thought.  If not, what is the reasoning?, Not a complete deal breaker (for me), but it would seem odd to leave it out with a driving game.
  9. http://blog.codemasters.com/grid/05/grid-autosport-online-racing-vehicle-progression/ "You’ll also see the “One to Watch”, a returning feature from past Codemasters’ titles. You might be chosen as the One to Watch if you’ve completed more clean races, achieved more podiums, or driven faster than all of your opponents" I can see it now......'the one to watch'...will be 'the one to ram', with a big red target on his back lol...oh dear.

    Anything new this week?

@Loore Just wondering (apologies if mentioned elsewhere) if you have a definite timetable for new information, what (regular) day of the week that will be and if there's anything to come this week?.
  13. ...in online Demolition Derby?.  I haven't loaded it up for months but players could make their own route which in turn made a mockery of the whole thing.

    Announcing F1 2015

There's a thread already here http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/5742/can-f1-2015-be-close-to-project-cars#lates  for pCars and its possible relevance to F1 2015.  Is one thread not enough(?).

    Announcing F1 2015

How much did Codies pay you the other month when you were saying how terrible they were and there was no chance you were getting F1 2015, someone else should get the license and so on?  While Codies are being more and more quiet with every game they release the community is going to jump to conclusions about why they seemingly don't want to show their game off, especially after the flops that were F1 2013 and 2014.  ...Now that would be telling wouldn't it! ;) LOL Sorry but you are making me laugh. After 5 years of buying these games... haven't you learnt anyting at all from Codecrappers? LOL Come on buddy! USE YOUR HEAD>! Another one falls for lies and hype. Once again. Also on the flops u forgot F1 2010, F1 2011, F1 2012 Just wondering Zombie, since all your replies seem to end up as part of the quote, which device you're using to enter the text?.

You're probably right, once there's actually something to compare with, unless I missed F1's release date.

A livery change?....easy peazy for them I would have thought. The Patching process is very long based on the past.. from submitting to Sony and Microsoft they take there sweet time to make updates live for companies like Codies. I am saying this based on the patching process on the past titles that have had one or more patches in the past... and it took forever. Its not that easy. Hopefully this year its quicker. Wasn't thinking about the convoluted submission process involved in console patches tbh, since I'm on PC.

Clearly he'll be concious before he goes to sleep, then after that unconscious.  Seriously though, asking if he has a conscience to be able to sleep at night, don't you think that's blowing things a little out of proportion.

Can F1 2015 be close to Project Cars

I bought into team membership when PCars EA was launched.  Tried a recent build and decided it still felt a bit uneven with different aspects...graphics/performance, car handling (some good some not so good), so decided to take them up on their recent offer of my money back.  Will probably wait till it costs what I originally paid for it again (in a sale), and by that time hopefully it will be 'my' perfect game.....just my opinion on PCars.  As for F1 2015, I'll wait for proper user feedback, even after any videos, and hopefully with full facts about the game, before it is released.

    DiRT Rally - Out Now

DiRT 3 used the updated Ego 1 engine. My mistake.  Just making the point though that Dirt Rally isn't using the latest engine, but hoping we get the best effects possible from both Dirt 2 and 3.

    DiRT Rally - Out Now

Ok so I just read (heard actually) that its using EGO engine V3, same as Dirt 3.  My initial feeling was of disappointment that it won't be on V4 same as F1 2015.  But then I began to think about a few things that were not carried over from Dirt 2 to Dirt 3, namely the excellent windscreen mud and water splash effects.  So I'm wondering if we are to get at least the best of this returned to Dirt rally?.
