  1. Because then there would be nothing to complain about!

Huge rhythmic stutter on high end PC

Yeah, this has stopped me playing it. Disabling USB devices does fix the issue, but I CBF'd doing that each time.

    What are "titans" in DIRT?

Well, I didn't see this question coming.
  4. Heh. You can go from 2nd gear back to reverse, back to 2nd, rev, 2nd etc and not do any damage. It's like a big shopping trolley, not great for a 'sim' though.

    Tired of grinding

I must be the only person who almost exclusively only plays time trials with these games.
  6. Yes, I have a G29 and put up with the pedals because I'm a pretty casual gamer nowadays. But back in the day I would have modded or avoided these pedals altogether. These pedals are a perfect example of Logitechs continued decline from a once top tier gaming peripheral company into what now can only be described as largely inconsistent. The brake pedal feels so bad, I struggle to believe they actually tested it.

    Bring on the gravel then!

It's not so bad. Wales will be fun. I agree about RX though, I really don't touch the RX content at all. Greece would be a good Rally stage to have, but isn't Greece mainly tarmac? This game's tarmac physics just don't feel right, so maybe another country with mud/snow would be better? Either way I'm okay with Season 2 content.
  9. silly question: what does the D+ mean?

Huge rhythmic stutter on high end PC

Umm, erratic frame pacing (even just 5ms here and there) is noticeable to most people. These stutters are probably in excess of 50ms or even 100ms, it renders the game almost unplayable.

    DiRTy Gossip

Hah, I wish. It's just too much effort to set the wheel up only to be second guessing this game each time. If I had a dedicated setup for race games I would always be back.

    DiRTy Gossip

I've decided this morning that I'm out. Too many bugs in this game to continue trying to invest time into it. I'm sick of the OSD disappearing from the interior views (which are still linked to odd FFB bugs), I'm sick of the constant stuttering (which began when I changed from a G920 to a G29 - like, WTH Codies? What are you doing?). I'm also sick of Racenet delaying menu load times by 10 seconds each time. It's just too much effort, half the battle with this game is sorting out technical issues. I might be back for Dirt 3.0, but I doubt it. Will probably buy F1 2019 though.
  13. I want Codies to implement cool cheatcodes like they used to. Why can't I press Up, Down, Down, Left, Left and get to drive a tank or a UFO? 😞 Why can't I press Start and Select at the menu to unlock a hidden Moon track?
  14. Microsoft, Sony and PC have solved this. Buy an X, a Pro or game on a decent PC.

FFB fixed? No, we need VIBRATIONS!!

What we need is for everyone to STFU. Accept that Codies knew what they were doing, and do know what they're doing, when they developed this game. It's just fine the way it is.
