you're welcome!! And funny you should mention Oculus Rift support... http://blog.codemasters.com/grid/10/grid-autosport-oculus-rift-support/

Sorry for the confusion - I'm only referring to PC patches, which are handled slightly differently to console patches. This fix will only affect the PC version of the game, and will go into a later PC patch, which I don't have dates for at the moment. It has no impact on the timeframe for the console patches - this fix will be going out later than the console patches. Hope that's clearer.

Grid Autosport Nvidia Surround / Eyefinity bezel correction / scaling glitch
GraphicsGuy replied to TerryRed's topic in Technical Assistance
Hey, Apologies for the slow response on this one. I have just submitted a fix for the bezel correction issues - it needs to go through QA, but if they don't find any problems with the fix, it will be due out in an upcoming patch. I'm not sure if it will also fix the strange second screen issues you were seeing, but I'm hopeful that it will! We'll let you know an expected date once QA have tried their best to break it :) -

Great to hear, thanks for the feedback!

Hi guys, Thanks for your patience - the next PC patch (due out very soon) addresses these issues. The changes/fixes are: * no cockpit blur with AMD HD3D or NVidia 3D Vision * Convergence can now be set using the hotkeys on NVidia 3D Vision * Convergence works properly in bonnet cam and interior cameras We are really pleased with the difference this has made to the 3D Vision experience, so thanks for pushing us to get this sorted! There is however one caveat - the default convergence for 3D Vision in GRID is far too extreme, and we have asked NVidia to fix that in their driver. In the meantime, you will need to reduce the convergence via the hotkeys, and save settings that you are comfortable with. Without this, you will find the cockpit is so extreme that it splits and doesn't look 3D at all.

If it's plugged in, the game sets stuff up, in case you enable the "Second Screen" option. So even if it's disabled, it's likely that it is causing your screenshot software to get confused. The only way to test this is to unplug that 4th monitor, before launching GRID.
-
In your case then, I'm meaning to unplug the 4th one, and leave the main 3 plugged in. Sorry for the confusion :)

Hey guys, I think the convergence will be the same as GRID2 - we deliberately prevent 3D elements from jumping out of the screen in this mode, to prevent visual collisions with UI elements. Does this cause you problems?

Graphical glitches when crashing (AMD 5770)
GraphicsGuy replied to NutGoblin's topic in Technical Assistance
scottishwildcat is correct :) -
You could try setting <directx forcedx10="true" /> inside: C:\Users\[user]\Documents\My Games\GRID Autosport\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml although it's just a guess! (Good luck!)

What Happened to 3D Vision ? Why is it broken ?
GraphicsGuy replied to RogerRamjet77's topic in Technical Assistance
Hi Roger, Unfortunately the 3D Vision fix missed the July 3rd patch, but is due in the next patch. -
We have seen problems with this, if you have a second monitor plugged in to your PC. If so, try unplugging it and seeing if it fixes things? Not ideal, I know... :(

GRID AUTOSPORT: game pauses for no reason and full screen switches to window mode
GraphicsGuy replied to KEEPFTNGMICHAEL's topic in Technical Assistance
This sounds like something is stealing focus from the game window. Have you got anything else running in Windows that could be periodically getting focus? -
Hi all, I can confirm that the HUD and Racing Line are visual only features - they have no impact on car performance. It's worth mentioning that the Racing Line gives you cautious/safe recommended braking distances - you may be able to do better than the Racing Line suggests for braking distances on some corners.
