Possibly because there's no way to get pace notes correct, it's gonna be bad without a pace note utility, one of the ACTUAL most requested features. You know... it's really disheartening when they claim to be listening to requests from people, when any of us who have been around since EA know what's actually been requested, and they give us one or two of the many things that's been asked.  Also, I feel like this is rushed, I know the current engine is limited, but there's still some things that could be fixed. Doubly so now that it seems some of us may continue playing DR instead of whatever this beast ends up being.

They didn't mention a pace note creator, and somehow I doubt they will manage to get the notes right. They have static stages in DR and they still couldn't get it right.

I'm lucky in that my spouse doesn't act like my supreme overlord... and she's supportive of my hobbies and trades.

No, I plan to, but I have recently spent too much lately on my hobby  Tbh, £33 for 2 springs and a little bit of material is a lot but I imagine he has the cover costs. I have a big problem with locking the wheels in AC because they're linear so these should help a lot. I also can't heel-toe with it currently because I always press the brake too much. It could just be me though lol They are really reasonable for what they do, it just a wife thing.  If i spend a penny more, im dead.  She's been very nice not complaining about what i have spent, I don't want to push it with another package showing up.  Maybe later in the year.   Wow.... do you work yourself? 

I'm that jerk that's about to drop near 2k on pedals... but I run a Tilton setup in my real car, so I can't wait to see how they feel!

It will only be about the confirmation of the new VR modes added to the game. I'm sure you're correct... wonder if it'll be worth the wait, I'm getting impatient. Although I'm redesigning the rig and waiting on parts right now, so I'm not able to play.

Lol... plenty of people build their own cockpits and hardware even... console jockeys not need apply.

Even more stuff going on in the cockpit of an aircraft...  VR doesn't even have any plans on how they are going to make me FEEL the buttons and controls.  If you just want to be a "gamer" I see no problems with VR, however.... lots of us use simulation to keep sharp, or practice, VR is many many years out from being able to compete with a mock cockpit and hard controls.

I didn't say I was looking at my hands, but much more happens in a race car than what's out the window. Button boxes, brake bias, warning lights, and other items that may or may not be modeled in the particular vehicle.  And I can look out my side windows the same as I do in my Subaru in my sim cockpit by the side monitors. Couple that with a motion platform and you really can't get any closer to actually driving.... period. And I have nothing against VR, it's awesome for FPS and other "games".

First off, it in NO WAY is anything like a real vehicle... I will assure you that.  As for why it's no good for sim racing.... where's your hands?  I'm talking about the people who use Sims to train, not the people who probably don't even own a vehicle, and shouldn't be even talking about realism or immersion.  (Not saying you fit that bill, but plenty do....)
