@KickUp
This weekend I have been checking Awesome more than I have in a long while. I think this is the game I have always wanted. DR was great, but the polish and detail on D4 is well.. Awesome! Thanks, Paul.. again :) -
you mean GRAVEL??? :open_mouth:urgaffel said:

There will be differences but it will all be in the level of graphical fidelity. Physics, audio etc will be the same.JorritVD said:@KickUp , Will there be differences between the versions of PS4, PS4pro and PC? If so, what will those differences be?
We aim to run all at 1080p 60fps.
With PS4pro we are aiming to add HDR and some other bits like better MSAA.
For PC will just be cranking everything up as high as they go so it will kinda all depend on how deep your wallet is from a hardware perspective. -
I'll bump this and ask about the whole replay system?BadD0g said:
WAIT, GUYS, WE FORGOT TO ASK THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION!urgaffel said:

Is the motion blur option independent now?
But I'm going to guess that right now we may be stuck with the same old one. If I'm reading into @kickup 's comments about still using the same (slightly improved?) engine from DR, regarding stage lengths. Anything drastic will have to be done in a future DiRT game. *Yes answered my own question, I think -

I would only imagine this could be done like the dirt laryer is on the skin, but somehow i think it would run into problems if the skin is split at difficult places.
I did mention this long ago in the DR wishlist not sure if it ever got any tracktion with the devs.
But I really like the idea! -

The way it's supposed to be! Except for the Super Special that is mainly in the middle of town.

Can't wait for rally sweden! The new WRC cars will be rippin.Azoresst said:https://twitter.com/dirtgame/status/823923319544029184
"The calm before the storm"... Interesting... -
I know Monte is unique, but if this is a small slice of what the whole season will be, it will really be exciting. It would be great to see a mixup in wins for each rally, though I am happy for Ogier this time, he was really consistent.
Yaris... I guess its growing on me, I saw one shot on RBTV where the exhaust looked like a small afterburner, constant blue jet of flames, and I'm now in love. It sounds incredible too.
Just a side note: Personally I don't think any WRC car has ever looked like a dream, not the way a Ferrari or Mclaren looks, maybe a Porsche. I see them for their engineering and sound, that being the case, I'm becoming a big fan of Toyota right now! -
engine, seized? ouch, thats never simple.. sorry, manRallyDriven said:We're not too sure, engine just seemed to seize without much warning -
Is it me or is Monte extra icy this year. Maybe i haven't paid so close attention in the past. I guess bad tire choice and more power probably exaggerates that. -
This is interesting "Kunos Simulazioni Bought Out By Digital Bros"
Is Bros an Italian word? Is it slang for Brothers or is his like "Hey Bro" or "DudeBro"
haha, did they lure them in with kebab pizza? or just cookies?
-
Remember Codies bought EVO a while back? Maybe, just maybe, they are working on a proper racing sim, that we all will love. BUT they better spend a buttload of money on licenses. -
Sounds more like a DiRT Daily :)Azoresst said:IMO this is not the best start at all for this WRC season. Only 8 cars left with 11 stages to go and already a huge gap between the 1st and the 4th (yes, I know that a lot can happen, this is rally, but with only 5 stages, it's a big difference (almost 1 minute and half)). Neuville and Tanak with a strong start, tho.

Spectator means Spectator not Press, right? This isn't a translation issue, right? I feel sad no matter who, a life was ended.
If it was a spectator, then when any of us go out there, please use your head and not your heart choosing a spot to watch from. Watching outside of turns is just a dumb thing to do, accidents happen, but why push your percentage up so much?

@JZStudios on twitter a couple humans ripped into @KickUp about it not being on another platforms. That was sad, but codriving isnt why Im here, so no big deal for me. -

I have thought the Toyota has looked the least competent car throughout testing: I hope I'm proven wrong when they hit the stages!Underkex said:It's me or the Toyota looks bad? Not fast in corners, even understeering. -
They are really reasonable for what they do, it just a wife thing. If i spend a penny more, im dead. She's been very nice not complaining about what i have spent, I don't want to push it with another package showing up. Maybe later in the year.SirPhilMcKraken said:
Tbh, £33 for 2 springs and a little bit of material is a lot but I imagine he has the cover costs. I have a big problem with locking the wheels in AC because they're linear so these should help a lot. I also can't heel-toe with it currently because I always press the brake too much. It could just be me though lolgfRally said:

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

We will have to remember, weather and seasonable unpredictability makes the environment look completely different from year to year. So we cannot expect it to look like it does in this video, some times the leaves are completely fallen, some times they are at their peak color change, etc. Regardless I am happy some of the USA will be in the game.
BTW: I don't know the entire routes at LSPR but not every rally over here are the stages quite so wide. My home event in Pennsylvania stages quite narrow, but are extremely fast. Other events here are more picturesque and others are a lot more technical, so Michigan is a rather tame event.
Here are some links to the stage maps for the real event.
