  1. The cars in DiRT Rally are Opel's, not Vauxhall's, so let's keep that in mind when discussing cars, because Opel is not a 100% Vauxhall.

In short, this is the Kadett that I know, but those that live in the "Vauxhall" countries will already see it as an Astra ;)

And be that was a Pontiac lemans here in the US (no respect to classic muscle car)

    Incoming gossip material

So, two new community managers. One spare when the first one throws in the towel? ;)
If these are NOT community managers...  the Gossip question is:  Why are they adding to the team when the project is wrapping up this month?

This could mean a lot for the future of DiRT Rally and beyond.  Now if we could only track their Environment Artists!  <find my freinds> anyone?

Please make a  button for donate!! I'm in love with this game and how Codies are working with it. The last road book was f***g awesome (sorry about that). All the fixes that i wanted for this game comes out!!! Again, DONATE BUTTON for codies please!!!

    BIG THANKS YOU!
Hmmm... HA donate button on our steering wheel would be cool

  4. Okey, matching the shapes from DR and reality gives us this info

"At the car’s heart is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged flat-four engine (based on that of the Japanese-spec STI) capable of converting race fuel into 500 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque."

    >500 hp
    >R4

Seems like Codies doesn't care at rally fans

@tbtstt I'll let you confirm, but this is off.  SRTUSA runs about 350hp and 400+ torque in a 2.5.  Never been a 2.0 spec 500hp/tq in this gen car

  5. It sounds like a complaint, not really, but it would be nice to have some limited in game customizable features like need for speed does with their cars, even Grid series did this.

Maybe the VTsportscar upgraded fenders option would cost $xxxxx credits and allow some suspension performance gains.

Also so limited skin n customization too, i know this is fluff to some but features do add value.

I am still jumping up and down S14 is now part of it now.

  6. Well, from Mr Coleman's most recent tweets, looks like no 1.6l WRCs will be coming in this update. He said that all cars in the update are pre-2010 and, therefore, the logical conclusions are the following:

    BUMMER!

No 2015 Impreza WRX Sti in the R4 class, because production of that model or the rally version started in 2014 at the earliest.

    BUMMER!
Some may already be waiting for me to say it...

But still sounds like 1 subie in this batch

  7. This time it's just clerical from what I'm gathering.  Somebody from X company needed to sign X document for it to be released, and it looks like that has been done.  Could have been delayed because that person was out of the office for some reason.  Probably just legal paperwork that no one looks at, but needed to be done.

so now we are 1 week from November, where is Sweden?   The end is near!!  :O

  8. For those looking at the office wall (the so called "Periodic Table of DiRT"), it has been stated quite a few times before that the wall is merely a wishlist of the devs, a reference of what they would like to see in a DiRT game. It does NOT mean all cars in the wall will be featured and cars not included in the wall may appear.

As for what I think the Modern Masters will contain, it will have 6 cars:

    R4:
Subaru Impreza R4 (Either Prodrive or JRM, one of the more recent models)
    Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X R4
    2000s:
    Ford Focus RS WRC 2006
    Citroën C4 WRC 2007
    2010s:
DS Automobiles DS3 WRC (2013 or older)
    VW Polo R WRC 2013

BTW, has anyone noticed the slip of "Citroën" when Paul divided all manufacturers in-game by country? I sure did, and bear in mind DS Automobiles is separate and was also there.
If this came true, I would really be happy.  Although and i'll beat the dead horse (now a pulp of flesh) that I would prefer an older Mitsubishi.

  9. S2000 definetely wouldn't appear in this update, but maybe in future...there's a lack of less powerful cars that could be use for new players (if someone doesn't prefer that crazy old FWD Mini).

I would like to see a Ford Fiesta R2 they are pretty popular over here in the US and perform pretty well.  Seems like a great starter car.

  10. We have this question:

    https://twitter.com/Azoresst/status/658611009641431040

    and this reply:

    https://twitter.com/Kick_Up/status/658615414713417728

So we all are in a holding pattern for now.  It doesn't sound too bad,  just some minor stuff to work out.  I would guess still this week, but its not in Codies hands right now.
