  1. It eliminates everyone, but if you're looking at the minimap eliminated cars are still allowed to go around the track (they turn ghost when eliminated though). You should base how many are left by looking at the top left list and not the minimap. If you aren't making it to first place in the first lap, you're probably not going to get platinum.

    My fault?

The only people I've seen doing that are people who regularly race dirty every race and see no problem with using other cars as brakes for turns. With the blocking and trying to force you into the wall, he is trying to get YOU to make contact so that YOUR impact rating goes down instead of his.
  3. That's what custom cups are for.

    Assists On or Off?

Off. If you're using anything other than a keyboard, there's no reason to be using ABS and Traction Control. It's really not that hard to keep yourself from locking the brakes up even on a controller.

    So online huh...

no hand holds or hypercars here, yet its still financially unviable for me to run my own chevy cruze in clean races at a profit. How can that not be a game flaw? Perhaps you could quantify your own 'profitable experience' a little more so we can see where we are going wrong? for example, my cruze has all upgrades applied. It also has all the tuning options unlocked to level 3. Im white impact rating. the cruze is level 55 i think. im level 25 in touring discipline [i think it is] when i say clean race, i mean very clean, a private server with friends on teamspeak....who incidentally, suffer the exact same cash flow woes. so could you please provide the same detail level, so that we can see how your costs are being covered? it may uncover a wee nugget of info eh. Thanks in advance 8D Touring cars are one of the most expensive categories to run in (not as close as expensive as hypercars, but still expensive compared to most of street and every single tuner category). Fun fact, Cat A Touring is cheaper than Cat C.

Thanks in advance 8D You're driving in one of the most expensive categories in the game. Cat C and Cat B touring cars are more expensive than most street categories and literally ALL of the tuner section. Even openwheel is significantly cheaper if you aren't running Indycar. Fun fact: Cat A Touring is cheaper than Cat C. (Cat C = $200k, Cat B = $500k, Cat A = $145k)

    Do the challenges..........well worth it.

What do you mean not allowed? You don't have to own any of the cars to do them (and I doubt anyone owns an Indycar yet).

    GRID Autosport Bugs Thread

The tire walls are there for gameplay purposes to keep people from trying to cut the turns. They otherwise have no effect on how you race there. Saying it wasn't scanned properly just because of those tire barriers is silly.

Feedback of AI in Grid Autosport

There's a difference when you are side-by-side like that, compared to the other video in this thread where he is a few car lengths going into the braking zone.

Where is Red Bull Ring online?

It does seem like some tracks are being favored by the playlists and others completely ignored (Red Bull Ring isn't the only track I've yet to race in this online)

    Garage Space?

Why so low? There's 32 different categories to race in . . . You can't even own a car for each one with 30 slots.

Feedback of AI in Grid Autosport

The fact that everyone seems to specifically naming the Team Kicker cars as the problem should say something. Maybe the Kicker drivers are set to be a bit too aggressive, but otherwise the rest of the AI seem to be doing well. If you ever team up with Kicker, you'll even see that your teammate is stupidly aggressive and will "go for gaps that are impossible" or something similar written in his description. Ravenwest has always been assholes with their driving style, it's pretty much to be expected that they have no problem bumping you and you need to watch out for them. The only time I've noticed absurd aggression from AI have been from AI that I have already done my fair share of hitting against earlier in the race/series. Calling bull ****. They raced the same way from the very first race I did. This has been how they've raced since day one, race one. Besides how blind fanboy do you have to be to say that about the first vid? It wasn't even me he dive bombed (though I was caught in it a bit) That's how the kicker cars drive every race. That first vid, something comes off a car before there's even contact. It's also possible that the AI simply missed their braking point or locked the brakes (it happens occasionally, the AI isn't designed to be perfect every turn). As for the other two videos, your line is garbage and I'm not surprised you got hit. If you were doing those lines online, you would've got hit much worse than what the AI did. In the second video, you're way inside, you're behind the AI, and your line has you going -wide- outside assuming you even make the turn and the AI didn't block you halfway. In the third, you missed the braking point by about 100 meters and then slammed into the AI.  The AI could probably be better, but man if you were driving like that online you would've caused a pileup in those last 2 videos. You somehow expect the AI to accommodate for you (when they're ahead, no less), but you do absolutely nothing to avoid a crash with them.

    Bought cars over loaned cars

As far as I know the loaner cars are stock at ~83% condition. If the purchased car you are driving is stock but you aren't repairing it, it's going to perform worse just because you aren't doing maintenance. Your car's power output, transmission efficiency, and handling is all reduced when you let your car get into poor condition.  Repair your cars before every race and you should be doing slightly better than loaner cars even at stock.

    Ride height adjustment

It's only available for the car that unlocked it.
