    I have the same problem, and after a lot of search, i discover its a graphic issue.  When i change my hardware settings at full screen false, like this <resolution width="1920" height="1080" aspect="normal" fullscreen="false" vsync="0" multisampling="8f16xeqaa" oldWidth="1920" oldHeight="1080">  the game starts at window mode, when i press alt+enter for full screen it crashes to desktop. At least i can play at window mode. I recently update ati drivers at the new beta, you think it has something to do with that problem? The same thing happening with f1 2013 with the same solution its working......
