    I was a mod in 2009? Shit.
I guessed :p You were a mod in the time I remember most from the vbulls.
I don't think it was that long ago. Might have been after the 2010 release, or around that time.
Probably was bud yea. I only posted sporadically between signing up in September 2008 and roughly August 2010. Once the hype for 2010 really started kicking in though I was posting and visiting here constantly after that.

I still remember PM'ing MS7XWDC (or whatever his name was) to ask where all the good members had gone from GD, and he directed me to Off-Topic :)
"Back in my day we had no "OFF-TOPIC" section. Just 2009 the game."

  2. I signed up after Qualifying for Spa in 2009. So that would be 5 years, 1 month and 8 days I think.

Who is actually still around from back then, @Lukedfrt is the only one I remember from back then...Probably missed a couple of people due to name changes. What was your name in 2009 ish @RevolvingPrawn?

    Oh and Onetwothree.

  3. The pit limiter sounds like a good idea. The thing is you have to find solutions that don't include constant SC's, driver safety is very important but at the same time, SC's all the time are not the answer, you could have races where it is really stop and start, leads constantly get wiped out, wasting laps behind a SC, which always stay out 1 or 2 laps too long. Imagine if you had 4 or 5 accidents, that could mean 4 or 5 SC's, which isn't the answer IMO, that would spoil it a bit. 4, 3 lap SC periods is 12 laps wasted.

So yeah, pit limiter idea is good, it will keep leads in tact too.

I read that Hammond suffered a diffuse axonal injury when he had that high speed accident as well so I guess we can hope..  :)
It all depends on the severity. It just worries me that they said severe. I mean how severe? If they mean severe as in it was on the severe end in terms of  diffuse axonal injuries then be prepared because it wont be good news.

But then maybe they just meant severe as in, his brain was injured. A severe injury would be something like that, if you know what I mean. Here's  hoping.

    EDIT: http://www.momomotorsport.com/article/what-does-severe-head-injury-really-mean-f1s-former-doctor-explains/e259f8ac475cc905520e162433418121

  5. "About 90% of survivors with severe diffuse axonal injury remain unconscious. The 10% that regain consciousness are often severely impaired."

They said he was severe...if it turns out to be more mild he could be fine, but if it is severe then it really ain't looking good at all :(

  6. Man in literally the last few seconds I thought of a couple more and got 117 (I was on like 112, desperate to beat 113 :p). I was going to put Carrick but thought he hadn't scored many, turns out he got 22. I was tight for time and did others instead. Ah well.

I thought Rossi was at Caterham?

I wonder if Red Bull will try to get Verstappen in the seat at all? They got Ricciardo in at HRT in the British GP 2011.
Not when Marussia have a Ferrari engine.
Fair point, but then Ferrari has just been allowed Vettel, RBR don't have to let him go.

    We'll see...
