  1. Atletico Madrid are not on Real, Barca, Bayern, United, Liverpool, AC Milan etc. level yet. It takes a while to become a very big team, and you don't lose that status after one season either. IMO it would take 1 or 2 decades of no real success to lose it fully (No League, UCL)

  2. Yeah, pretty much what I think. They can't control an area that size.

But they do have a lot of money. Enough to make themselves a threat to their neighbours and enough to fund attacks on Western countries. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if The UK and US decide to invade. That would spell the end of their hopes really, but you won't exterminate them completely, Afghanistan has proved that many times.

Put it this way, they can't win, it is a matter of time before someone bigger gets involved, check even India could beat ISIS. They aren't to be under estimated though, these guys are extremists and their current success shows that they aren't too bad of a fighting force, they've already invited the US and UK to get involved. I doubt the UK or US will, but someone will fight them pretty soon.

  3. They are trying to form a Muslim Caliphate. An Islamic state made up of all the predominately Muslim countries I think. It is something like that. Basically like an Islamic state led by a "supreme religious and political leader."

They released a map of their targets, it is huge, look it up. Type in ISIS Map to Google and look at it

If they do try to take over that land, I cannot see NATO standing by and watching, so expect WW3 if they try it.

  4. Apparently he was beheaded by a "British" Jihadist. Not British at all, don't label scum like that British. That is sick, how could anyone do that to an innocent guy.

They are going to cause a war soon. I'd hate for that to happen but they are threatening civilians, something has to be done.

They are the biggest club, not the best, but they have among the most fans, make the most money etc..

You clearly don't understand so I'll leave you to figure it out, and when your finished being smart you'll see.

How many of them are glory hunters? (Not saying you are btw, and the same can be said for many other teams)

It's hard to judge who is the biggest club in the country as it falls to personal opinion. Yes you make the most money, but it's how you spend it that matters - Sunderland can vouch for that.

Man United lost the biggest club crown last season imho. I'd say Chelsea are the biggest club now.

I'm sorry but there is no way Chelsea are the biggest club. No way ever.

Go to Asia, ask them to name a football team, guarantee it is "Manchester United" more often than not. Look how many English fans there is, look how many US fans turned up for United Vs Real Madrid and how many of them were wearing red.

I'm sorry, but it isn't even a debate about who is biggest in England, and it is close between United, Real and Barca for worldwide size. Based on value, Man United are 3rd (£1.64 Billion), Barca next at £1.8 Billion and then Real Madrid with £2 Billion. Chelsea aren't even in the top 5. Heck, Arsenal are a bigger team than Chelsea

Last seasons result has nothing to do with club size, Income, fans, worldwide recognition, commercial deals etc.

And you cannot possibly know how many are glory hunters. I'd say a small percentage purely because they'd have left by now right? Why would I  or anyone else glory hunt a team who might struggle to finish 5th this season?

  6. 27 Million a season is nothing for a team like United, especially when Real Madrid, a team on a par in terms of size, is spending probably more than double than on average.

27 Million couldn't buy you Fellaini, and it can't buy you a world class talent that is younger than 28.

Look how much money United make a season, does 27 Million on average add up to you? What is happening to the rest of the clubs money? Oh yeah, going straight to their debts/pockets.

  7. So they would pay Kimi 20+ mio. only to make sure he won't win the championship.

    Makes perfect sense.

I know this is old, but I'd just like to say that the reasoning was so that he didn't become a double world champion so he was easier to dispose of when they finally got Alonso and all his Santander money.

I doubt it myself, but just putting it out there. There was an article posted on here about it I think...

  8. And the Award for Overreaction of the Year goes to...

It isn't an over reaction, it is true and every United fan knows it. We finish 7th in the league and the response? Sign 2 players and ship out 3 experienced ones when we don't have replacements (still need 2 CB's). We still need 3 players, but clearly the Glazers would rather have the money in their bank.

  9. #GlazersOut was No.1 trend on Twitter.

Look how much money United make, and look at our team! We make roughly the same, if not more money than Real Madrid  and yet we wont spend it. If Juventus want 50million for Vidal, give them 50 million, we have the money, it wont infringe FFP because United make enough to spend that. Honestly, the Glazers and Ed Woodward are a joke.

We've gone from expecting Hummels, to Benatia now to Rojo and even Mexes! I mean really!?!

Joke, absolute joke. 50 million on Vidal and 25 million on Benatia is fine, they already spent 27.5m on Fellaini last summer, so 25 million or 50 million for those players is fine. It is just a joke, we've signed the least players of any team in the BPL and yet we need players more than most.

And you know what is even worse? Young, Nani, Valencia and Anderson are still squad members.

If you want an idea of how much money United are getting from deals alone:

Adidas: 750 Million over 10 years

    Chevrolet: 329 Million

    Aon: 180 Million

    Season tickets all sold out

And then whatever Nike are still paying...

  10. To any A level students, I hope you got what you wanted!

For me, I did AS levels this year and to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something like ABCC but ended up with CDDD. I got the C in art, but I was really expecting an A in that as all my progress reports on my work throughout the year were A's. How did it suddenly go to a C?

Got the D's in music, history and French, but I'm dropping French next year (thank heavens). For AMS, I got a C for the 30 marker paper and an E for the 20 and 40 marker paper.

I worked really hard this year too, but obviously not hard enough haha

Yeah I got D in History as well, \I got 56/100 (D) on the Russian paper and 48/100 (E) on the Experience of Warfare one. To be honest, I only took History because I enjoy it, so passing it (Even if it wasn't what I wanted which was a C isn't toobad, anyway, I dropped History).

I got a C in Information Technology (IT A-Level), I got a Merit in my BTEC Programming and a Distinction Star in my Games Development BTEC so I am pretty happy with that.

At the end of the day, the first year marks only ensure you get to do A-Levels, so at least you passed them even if they are not what you wanted :)
